While timezone information could be useful, day-month-year formatting is a standard in Europe. As far as I remember approximately ~60% community is German, and vast majority of players come from Europe, so it does makes sense to use to use the most widely frequent formatting.
I guess Kapo will generally accept submissions until 23:59 CET (which is most used timezone), perhaps he will update the information today.
Good point, though. It's always safer to name the month than give it as number. -
Welcome Skylords and Cute Beings.
Kingdom of Lyr receives a lot of attention recently, some even could say too much attention. It’s residents would enjoy peace, that is for sure. Unfortunately, this is not the case.
After Blight’s death, remaining Ravenships scattered across the globe, gaining influence among other Bandit clans. Some of them found Lyr vulnerable and decided to attack, before Kingdom grows in strength. Aeglos Fortress is already partly-captured, we must hurry.

New Community Map!
Aeglos Fortress is a new single-player Community Map.
As you can see on the minimap, the map has linear progress and takes place in a mountainous terrain.
As a player you start in bottom left corner and progress though the map until you reach enemy fortress on north west. On the right there is allied Frost Fortress which must be defended throughout the game. It is attacked by steadily stronger opponents.
The map should be now available in community maps tab:
The map is named differently in German and French versions of the game. Look out for “Festung Aeglos” and “Forteresse d’Aeglos” respectively.
The map exhibits following features:
- Fresh campaign experience
- Audio narrative in all 4 official languanges
- Objectives in all 4 official languanges
- Frost themed fortress in northern part of the map
- Side objectives which enhance experience, but are not necessary to complete the map
- One easter-egg
Event on the map
If you complete the map on Advanced difficulty before 21st February 2022, you may participate in the event. See more details there:
A few insights about the map:
- The map was supposed to be "Siege of Hope but cooler,", but turned out as "buggy rPvE with benefits".
- The map was in development for 55 days.
- There were made over 260 edits/versions of the map.
- The map uses 2406 lines of code.

Where, when and how?
The event will be run on a brand new one-player community map “Aeglos Fortress”.
The contest starts today – submit your replay through Discord (Contact Dallarian#1085) or through forum message until 21st February 2022 23:59 CET (16 days).
Lyr’s Distress Call – fastest time wins
Near mount Aeglos a siege takes place.
Complete 1-player community map “Aeglos Fortress”
on Advanced difficulty as fast as possible.[1][1]. While complying with following restrictions:
Rules
- Do not use Amii Monument.
- Do not use Enlightenment to summon any affinity of Batariel.
- Do not teleport, create, or in any way move a unit with ground presence into location where Blue Stronghold is sieged, without going the usual way first – this includes but is not limited to: Nether Warp, Scythe Fiends, Incubator and many more. You may use spells like Infect, Undead Army, or send flying units like Swamp Drake or Grim Bahir.
- Do not decompose any non-player Frost units.
- Play the map alone, replays with two players are not accepted. Play the map as a Skylord that has monument in bottom left corner of the map, if you start the game in top-right, replay will not be accepted.
Accessing and sending the replay
You may find your replay in:
This PC --> Documents --> Battleforge --> replays
Your most recent game will be named “autosave.pmv”, unless you have already saved it in-game, or checked in option “save all replays” in the game options.
You may submit your replays as many times as you want, however, only the fastest one will count. To reduce my workload, please rename your file to CMC4_"time”_”nickname”.pmv – for example: CMC4_23m51s_Dallarian.pmv .
Submit your replay through Discord (Contact Dallarian#1085) or through the Skylords Reborn forum until 21.02.2022 23:59 CET
Please note that some of the best replays may be posted on forum or may be used in a video.

Rewards
In the unlikely case of a tie, the run that was submitted earlier gets the higher placement in the ranks.
Pure Frost have received many nice changes in the past, including brand new card added in December. I have genuine hope the event will increase interest in playing pure Frost. Therefore, the whole rewards pool consists of Frost boosters and Frost cards only. Some rewards are unique to newer players only.

Dear Blitzmauler,
Apparently there is some bug preventing uploading of pictures in .jpg and perhaps in similar formats as well.
However, uploading a .png file works in acceptable mannier, so we would suggest to either convert file from .jpg to .png by using software on your computer (open in paint, save as: .png), or by using online converter.

And here we can see a school of Battleships in their natural habitat, imitating the shape of a much bigger ship to intimidate potential predators.
Inciddentally, they also do this to reduce the air drag factor. Tired Battleships will fall back from the front to the rear of the formation, allowing fully rested Battles to take the lead and provide the drag reduction.
If we look closely, we can see a few families of Icefang Raptors hiding underaneath the Battleships. Raptors and Battleships have a mutualistic relationship. The Battleships protect the Raptors, and in exchange the Raptors secure Monuments that contain Frost Orbs needed to grow snowflakes clouds and feed Battleship population. It's already "not made". There is no cash shop.
While there most likely wouldn't be need for another permission, the whole project is designed as F2P but not P2W, and there are planned further adjustments/ extra achievements for new players.
In current state of the game there isn't even a point to spend money in-game, because of how much you get for playing for just a while a day.
If you want to support project, you do it on patreon. If you want more cards, just play a bit longer, it is really easy to get them.So not only there is no point in launching premium shop, it also is against the spirit of the project (which do not support pay to win).

For me the gameplay is too long to attempt the map seriously.
But if I was to play it again, I would take root network deck (all root network units from T1-T4).

Price of Enlightenment halved. Infect is on 2/3 of it's price. Many expensive ultrarare XLs decreased from 1000-2000 to under 800. While common and uncommon cards are less accessible now, you can still get them easily from boosters, and many cards hidden behind inflation now become more and more accessible. I think reforge system is doing good in going for "dream" deck.

I am against the idea.
While considering something in that regard is an option, I believe it is too early to suggest any changes.
The topic could use investigation and finding the actual cause, however, even if I play less than you, I don't think I ever heard about anything similar. I use Shatter Ice in almost every single my deck, so I do not think "frequently" is a good word in this case.
It would certainly be helpful if more Skylords shared their experience on that, because currently I do not think it is a problem, as there is lack of information about scale of the phenomena.JarodDempsey likes this

If you want to improve your PvP, there are available replays from Eirias Battleforge on youtube and on every Wendesday evening there is Toggy's fighting club, where you can join, play & watch and practice.
