I dont see the Construct as a punishment for players, I and the Anonym Sponsor of this card wanted to reward and inspire new player to play the event.
The Construct might be ~9k BFP, but there is a lot for of prizes in booster and in cards for the other players. Top 10 + Bonus Rank + Random Draw.So dont be frustrated or sad that you may miss this Promo in this event. 🤝

For Battle of Tactics 7 we are revisiting BOT 5 and doing another Tome-Tournament, but with a new set of rules!
Format and changes to the Tome format
We will play 6 rounds of swiss-system followed by a normal tournament for the bets 4 players.
Every Round will be a Best of Three and the maximum number of players will be 32.The twist this time:
1. Public visible boosters
The content of all Boosters of each player will be visible publicly2. Increasing card pool after every round
All players will start with 8 general boosters and after every round every player will receive two more.
After Round 1: 1x Fire booster + 1x Twilight booster
After Round 2: 1x Nature booster + 1x Stonekin booster
After Round 3: 1x Frost booster + 1x Lost Souls booster
After Round 4: 1x Shadow booster + 1x Bandit booster
After Round 5: 1x Amii booster + 1x Fire/Frost booster3. No Duplicates
Since we are using my website to organise the event, I added a faction that players can´t get the same card again.
So after you received one Eruption, its impossible to get another one form any other booster.

Tournament Rules

The tournament will be on the test server, so all players have all cards.
To be sure that there are no random/old files clear the content of your [BF]\base\pak-test folder and then start the normal launcher.
It will then download all need files (may take some minutes so do the day before the tournament)
Feel free to ask me or other staff members if you are unsure what to do.
To start the test server, use the " StartBattleForgeDev.bat " in your BattleForge folder. - Disconnection during a game results in a default loss. If both sides agree, it is possible to have a remake.
- Not showing up to your match after 15 minutes results in a default loss. The plan is to play a round of matches every ~30 mins.

After your match, go to Challonge and insert the result. That is done by clicking on your match and selecting the winner/stats.
The brackets/match list will be updated automatically after all finished their match. - The Map Pool is: Haladur, Simai, Elyon, Lajesh, Uro and Yrmia.

The map of round one will be Haladur, after that its losers choose.
Against the second opponent, you start with Simai. third Elyon, etc.
(I will make notes in Challonge) -
First deck lock is done by a coin flip. (/roll 1)
After that, the winner has to lock in first.

Place 1: 7 General Boosters + Promo Rogan Kayle + Bedrock + 5.000 BFP
Place 2: 6 General Boosters + Harvester + Bedrock + 4.000 BFP
Place 3: 5 General Boosters + Avatar of Frost + 3.000 BFP

SpoilerWhat is the difference between an PvP-Tournament and a Tome Tournament?
Tome was a PvP-game-mode in the original BattleForge where player had to build their decks with cards from boosters. Aka: Random cards. It often happens that you can’t play the way you like because you are missing cards and sometimes it was the birth of new strategy’s.

in the sixth round of BOT its all about switching your orb colours -> but don´t worry's, you don't have to do that by hand.

The challenge:
You will play on a Community map version of the Dwarven Riddle called "Battle of Tactics 6"
On this one-player map, you don't have to build orbs. The Rainbow crystal will grant them to you.
But it´s a Rainbow Crystal - that means your orbs will switch constantly the colours.That switch order is:
Fire -> Nature -> Frost -> Shadow -> Fire -> ...The switch will be after:
Tier 1 = 30 sec
Tier 2 = 45 sec
Tier 3 = 60 sec
Tier 4 = 20 secAnd access to the higher:
Tier 2 = 5 min
Tier 3 = 10 min
Tier 4 = 15 minDo not lose the crystal, or else you will lose the game.

Some information about the map:
SpoilerThe first 4 Crystals which you destroy will grant you 50 energy.
(which 4 of the 8 you destroy doesn't matter)In your base is a "teleporter" which can disable the Orb-Switching-Countdown.
So if you don't care or if the sound is getting on your nerves, you can use it. But you can´t turn it back on again.
I added some new, anti-flying units barriers. So do not wonder why your flyers may do strange path finding. For example here:
The map is designed to get harder the further north you go. So you may change your usual Dwarven Riddle strategy.

I would think you would calculate on the first UR that it can be ANY of them, just on the second one you need the correct "hit" that it is the same UR.
Yeah first UR has a change of 20%
The change that you have two in a row is 20% * 20% -> 4%
and the chance that the second UR is the same as the first one is 1/69 aka1,44%
Card1 (20%) * Card2 (20% * 1,44%) -> 0,057%Also not an expert but in my head that sound plausible 🧐

Interesting i personally had the feeling that there was more PvE Events this year then PvP.

Battle of Tactics is trying something new: Time for a Tactical-Tome-Tournament!
Different to a normal Tome-Tournament?
1. Public visible boosters
The content of all Boosters of each player will be visible publicly2. Booster Types
Players have multiple general booster but also Wild-Boosters.
With these they can open all types of boosters, like a Pure-Fire-Booster to increase the chance of a key fire card for their planed deck.3. Boosters per Player
The number of boosters is linked to their ELO. A higher experienced player has to work with a lower amount then a beginner:
S-Tier 139k-999k ELO --> 9 General Boosters + 1 Wild-Booster
A-Tier 124k-139k ELO -->10 General Boosters + 2 Wild-Booster
B-Tier 112k-123k ELO --> 11 General Boosters + 3 Wild-Booster
C-Tier 100k-112k ELO --> 12 General Boosters + 4 Wild-Booster
D-Tier 000k-100k ELO --> 13 General Boosters + 5 Wild-Booster

To start the testserver, use the "LauncherTest.exe" in your BattleForge folder. - The match format is Best Of 3 with no looser bracket.

Goal 1: Is it necessary for this quest that at one time there are 12 Orbs builded/in construction? Or is it legal to start building some orbs at least one time and cancel construction?
