    Greetings Skylords!
A lot has happened in the past month! In this Community Update, we catch up with the recent developments, while also looking towards the future and upcoming Skylords Reborn changes.

    • Anniversary Patch Release

We hope it was hard to miss, but our latest patch is out! On the 14th of January, we released our 2nd Anniversary patch. The patch contains new cards (Raven Archwalker, Sanctuary), a new promo (Worldbreaker Gun), many balance changes, and new achievements that reward cosmetics! You can find the full patch notes here.

The introduction of cosmetics and their matching new achievements has also resulted in some issues, most of which have already been resolved with hotfix updates. We are aware of remaining issues with the leaderboard achievements and are working on a fix which includes retroactive reward distribution. We are also aware of major stuttering issues some player experience in the forge and are investigating the problem.

As is tradition, we have also opened up our patch feedback thread. Please provide feedback to us on the changes we have made to the game. Below are some of the topics which we are most interested in soliciting feedback, though feel free to offer any suggestions regarding the patch and the current direction of the game.
Do you like the changes to cards and factions (PvE and PvP)? Why or why not? Where did we hit the mark, and implement something exciting you'd like to see more of? Where did you miss the mark, and what should we avoid in the future?
Do you enjoy the new cards, are they balanced, etc.?
What do you think of the new achievements? Which ones are fun and exciting? Which ones are frustrating and boring? Do you like the shift to cosmetic rewards instead of gameplay rewards like boosters and gold?
You can also join us at our balance discord to further discuss changes to cards.

    • Stonekin Deep Dive

In our Deep Dive documents, we share our thoughts and plans for a faction as well as give you some insight into our balancing process. Previously we explored the state of Pure Frost, Bandits and Pure Nature.
Today, we are excited to share our plans for the Stonekin faction. After exploring what the faction is all about, we took a look at its strengths, weaknesses, and play patterns. To expand on the Stonekin faction, we are working on a new spell called Tectonic Shift. Be sure to check out the Deep Dive if you want to know more!

    • Recap Video

We have created a special recap video showcasing everything that was added to Skylords Reborn since the release. Catching up on Skylords Reborn should be easier than ever!
The video is voiced by Dreamlord, and we would also like to give a big thank you to Dutchy, Kapo, and Ultralord for helping create it.

Being a volunteer project greatly limits our marketing options, so we hope we can count on you to spread the word about this great game.
Please share the video with your old BattleForge friends, show it to people who might be interested, or simply give it a like on YouTube. As a thank you for your support, we have also added a scratch code in the comment section of the video.

    • Card Creation Contest Results

Our official card creation contest has concluded. A big thank you to everyone who sent in their design. For this contest, we asked you to create your own Skylords Reborn card, which would be judged by our jurors. Entries were made anonymous, so the designs had to speak for themselves.
We received 140 designs, ranging from hilarious meme cards to interesting designs and abilities.

The winners were revealed during a stream that you can rewatch here. You can also browse through all the results on the forum post here.
A big thank you to Kapo for gathering all the entries, Ultralord and Volin for hosting the stream, and RadicalX, Windhunter, and Hirooo for judging the entries and providing feedback.
And most importantly, thank you to every one of you who send in a design! We hope you liked the contest, and we are already exploring our options to add some of the ideas into the game, so look forward to that!

    • Upcoming Community Map Rework

Last Community Update, we mentioned we are going to focus more on map content this year. Alongside official map content, we have been hard at work to improve the Community Map section in the game.
In an earlier patch we already implemented a search function, and currently the Community Map section looks like this:

While the search function certainly helped players to find specific maps (like our Spooky Encounters Halloween Map), the rest of this section of the game is currently severely lacking in user experience. We are going to make a couple of changes to greatly improve the experience for both community maps creators and players trying to play the maps they create.

    • Featured
A star icon to the left of the map overview will indicate whether this map is featured, which can be done by the Skylords Reborn Staff to highlight certain maps, for example because of their high quality, or for certain events. Our plan is to also give rewards for playing featured maps, like gold and progress towards daily quests and community-map achievements.

    • Voting
Everyone will be able to upvote or downvote a map. An upvoted map counts towards the upvotes for that map, but the downvote is purely for personal tracking. Downvotes will not be shown publicly, but they can be used to keep track of maps you personally dislike, so you can filter them out by using the new vote-filter.
A player can only vote on a map after they have played (not necessarily won) the map once.

    • Filtering
Players will be able to filter the maps based on a search term (map name, uploader name, and creator name), the number of players, the rating, and the map type. Map types are Community, Official (for PvP maps) and Featured.

    • Sorting
There will be four sorting options: map name, amount of players in the map, upvotes, and last edited. For each sorting option, you will be able to choose ascending or descending sort order.

    • Description and Minimap
Currently, unknown maps will show a [ ? ] on the minimap. With the rework, clicking on the map name will allow players to view the minimap, without downloading it first. Hovering over the map name will also show a tooltip with the description of the map.
Because there are a lot of maps available, it is a lot of work to find an interesting map in the current system. You will need to download the map first to view the minimap, and then create a match to view the description. Those two additions (minimap and description preview) will make that process easier and faster.

Below is our work in progress of the rework of the Community Maps section.

We hope these changes will encourage players to interact with more community maps, while also rewarding creating new maps by making them easier to find. We are currently finalizing our changes, and hope to patch them in the future.

    • Team changes

Nukie, one of our Global Moderators, has joined the Event Manager team. Besides continuing his moderator tasks, he will help out with organizing both community and official events.
If you are interested in helping out the project yourself, please take a look at our open positions. There is a range of areas you can help!

    • Tournaments / Events

Since Community Updates are posted on a monthly schedule, events might come and go in between them. Be sure to keep a close eye on the ingame event-tab and the forum calendar to not miss any events!

    • FINISHED  – Battle of Tactics 3: Energy Investment
For this contest, players had to build all power wells and monuments on the map "The Treasure Fleet" on standard difficulty as fast as possible, without losing any gold wagons. More information.

    • STARTING SOON - Community PvE League - 06-02-2023 until 03-04-2023
PvE League Season 2 is starting soon! The PvE League has challenges for all skill levels and ranks, and you don't need to be a speedrunner to be able complete the challenges. You can earn boosters/cards by completing the challenges with enough points, and there are also bonus challenge. Please sign up now if you still want to join. More information.

    • Host your own tournament / event
Want to host a tournament or event yourself? Please reach out to our Event Organizers, Metagross, Minashigo Hiko, or Nukie! We can help you out with various topics and are glad to discuss potential ideas. We can also sponsor the prize pool for your event. If you have a cool idea for a PvE event, or want to host a PvP tournament, please don't hesitate to reach out to us, we will gladly assist you.
Going forward, sponsored prizes for community events will be increased, while the prize pool of official events will be slightly reduced. We want to bridge the gap between official and community events to support them better.

    • Newsletter

While we do our best to make it easy to follow Skylords Reborn by providing monthly news through these Community Updates, we are limited to the Forum and our Social Media channels to reach you. You can now sign up for our newsletter, which we will use to give you a heads-up about a new update. Don't worry, we hate spam as much as you do and won't use your data in any other way.

If you provided your e-mail during our summer survey to stay up to date, you are automatically subscribed. Our first newsletter was sent out last month, announcing our patch release.

    • In Conclusion

And that's it for this Community Update, thanks for reading!
As is tradition, this community update comes with a scratch code.
The code will reward you with a Stonekin booster: STON-EKIN-DEEP-DIVE

The code is valid until March 1st, when we will bring you another Community Update.
As always, we are open to feedback, so please let us know if you have any questions, suggestions, or comments!

Hey, simply play siege of hope according to various speedrun guides, anyone can get rank 1 there.

By the way if It should be more attractive to beginners u should adapt the price pools. As example High placed should get lesser reward because anyway get that High value Promo. Like 3 Boosters would be fine. Split the booster so that it would slighty Increase for Top ranking in BFP value gain. So that the lower ranks also get more rewards. I play a lot with a community and also a lot of new players. The Bad Harvest event was a good example, how Prices Could have worked. It was fun even for the newer players, because they said we want to get at least 3k points or Hey help me get 7k points for more booster. I think if everyone gets Booster, a lot of more players would do it.

    An example:
    Place        Reward
    1               Construct (Promo)+2booster
    2               Rogan Kayle (Promo)+2booster
    .....
everyone that take part will get A Booster, just for sending in replay. That Booster doesn't count into Price pool what means as example place 1 to 3 get 3booster. All below rank 11 get one of the Random card. If there isn't enough players for the Price Pool with the Random cards they get randomly chosen.

So the beginners would say ok I will do it just for the booster and the Random cards. A lot of players will see ok it is doable and i can optimise it a bit. So a lot of more players would take part of it and enjoy the event to be better or at least better than their low level friends. Like a small competition between the newer player.

    @Timatijs
To put it in other words, you'd like that the achievement also counts for sub-categories like 2 player completion on a 4 player map? But else the achievement is working as described, right?
  5. Timatijs liked a post in a topic by WolvenX in Quest suggestion
In the game we currently have quests that say use units that require Fire monuments or nature etc.   I don't know if you have this or it's been suggested before, but could we not also have quest that use duel coloured orbs?   or Twilight creatures or Stonekin and bandits, especially as you have now balanced them so well.   Just a thought!   😀

Hello Skylords, Skyladies and other Skybeings.
Welcome to the seventh official PvE event!
It has been a while since the last official event, especially a multiplayer event, but we still hope you will have a lot of fun with this event!

    Quick overview:

What kind of event will it be?

PvE - Advanced - Bad Harvest with a point system
For this challenge, we want to see you succeed in playing the map Bad Harvest, while accomplishing several goals of varying difficulty.
The more objectives your team accomplishes, the more points you get, which will lead to greater rewards!
Additionally, the teams with the highest number of points will receive some extra rewards.
But there is more! Similar to the beloved Crappy Community Contests, there will be something the entire community will work towards. Once the combined points of all submitted runs surpasses a certain threshold, the prizes for everyone will be increased.

So gather a team, polish your strategy and go for the Highscore!

    How can I participate?

Everyone with an ingame account can participate in the event - there is no need to sign up separately.
You just have to send in your best replay, including the player names, the time of the replay and what objectives you accomplished. [Note: Your entry has to be a victory]
    For example:
    Low points:        A, C, D; Total:     700
    Mid points:         K, L, P; Total:   1500
    High points:              all; Total:   3800
    Penalty points:          W; Total: -1000
    Total points:                                5000

You can send in your replays until the 02.12.2022.

    Please note:
You are allowed to compete with multiple teams, but only your highest score will determine the rewards you win, meaning you can only get rewards for one submission. You are allowed to compete with a team of less than 4 people, or even alone.
You can find your replays here: Documents=>Battleforge=>replays

    What are the objectives?

This event will have a point system: points will be rewarded by completing the following objectives. The goal is to get as many points as possible!
You don't have to complete them all, but of course you should aim for as many points as you can in a single run.
It is important, however, that your final score from objectives is greater than zero. Runs with a negative score do not qualify.

    * Check the FAQ for clarifications.
Since those are a lot of objectives, we prepared a spreadsheet, which you can use to keep track of the objectives you want to complete and which player should complete them. You can find this spreadsheet here. Since this is a public spreadsheet, we recommend creating your own copy of it to not interfere with others.
    Time Score:
There will also be points awarded for time. The faster you finish the map, the more points you will get with a maximum of 1500p.
There are no preset time windows that determine your time score, instead your time is compared to all entries.
This means that every second counts when it comes to your time score!
However, you can not lose any points by having a slow time. So it is up to you to decide whether you want to go for as many objectives as possible or if you want to leave some out in the hope of getting a better time.
You do not have to calculate the time score yourself, we will calculate the time score for every entry.
For a detailed explanation on how the time score is calculated, see the FAQ below.

    FAQ
In order to reduce confusion about the objectives, we have precompiled a list of questions you might have and answered them beforehand.
If you have any questions about one of the objectives, please check this FAQ first.
If your question is not yet answered in the FAQ, feel free to ask in this thread. That way it can be clarified and added to the FAQ.

    Calculation of the time score:

Sounds fun! What's the prize pool?

In contrast to past events, this event is less about how you fared in comparison to everyone else and more about how many points you collected overall. Thus, your reward will be directly based on your final score, including your time score. Note, that all rewards listed here are per player.
    1000-2499 points: 100 BFP
    2500-3749 points: 1 Mini Booster
    3750-4999 points: 1 Mini Booster + 100 BFP
    5000-5999 points: 1 General Booster
    6000-6999 points: 2 General Boosters
    7000-7999 points: 3 General Boosters
    8000-8999 points: 5 General Boosters
    9000-9999 points: 8 General Boosters
10000+ points: 8 Boosters of your choice + 1 BFP per point beyond 10000
Additionally, the team with the highest total score will be rewarded a promo Harvester (1 per Player).
Furthermore, if the combined score (without time score) of all participating teams surpasses 75.000 points, all prizes will be increased by 50%!

How will the winners be presented?

This is yet to be determined. We will keep you updated about this.

    Hello Skylords!

I was wondering why Moloch doesnt have an ability where he uses his big volcano cannon on back (similar to Tortugun attack).
It would cost fair amount of power, like 100-130 and would be great for long range siege attack.

I dont know if this was ever written or suggested, because I didnt find anything similar about this question.
Ofc if this sounds interesting or catches the eye of some people, I would love to explain all the details 🙂
Just want to see Love for turtles also in game ❤️

    Idea behind character/unit design:

For starters, Skylords Reborn has reached a very interesting peak in its development where its supporting hybrid orbs, but I think that some pure decks are lacking in the matter, when it comes to purity presentation (since hybrid decks provide much more utility than single type orb decks).

Idea here is to make a certain PURE DECK buffer unit that subjectively works in buffing the primary statistic of the faction, and I cannot deem Shadow Faction as anything else than faction oriented on Health/Lifesteal/Sacrifice mechanic (be it theirs or of the ones of their enemies).

I have intended to make multiple leader variants for all 4 factions with different Level Up mechanics (to make more specific units or augmentation as a faction leader) which wouldn't account as 1 Card Boss unit, but more of an enhancer for their factions original mechanics (which would in the end, make it a primary target focus in fights). General idea is to make unit that would provide more than just a single hand call in power spike or neutral leader utility ( Neutral Heroes like Virydia, which can augment any deck) and focus the unit composition more into a timed assault which would amplify power of Pure Decks, reducing weaknesses they posses due to the lack of hybrid spells for CC, by augmenting them with mechanics that are native to their primary faction (be it passively or actively, while also restricting the foretold unit to them only).

Furthermore, idea behind this card is really open up to suggestions and balancing, since I'm also working on variants for other factions (Fire, Nature and Frost), but I got really short on time with college, Holiday planning and New Year event (like I would appreciate it massively if the actual contest lasted a bit longer after new year 😅 ) so I hope that this won't go unnoticed!

Same goes for Character Model, if this EVER passes as possible CARD DESIGN, I would love to be notified about it, since I prepared some voice lines ALONGSIDE the DESIGN MODEL (still WiP, but base idea exists)

    Time is up!
In total, I have received 140 entries from 88 different participants.
The next step is to compile all the data and present it to the jurors, they will (understandably) need some time to judge all the entries and to discuss edge cases. After the jury has made their decision, I will post the results here.
Please note that 140 entries is A LOT, so this might take a while.
Thanks for all the cool submissions and the awesome energy so many of you brought to this contest!

Hi fellow Skylords! Im kinda new to this, but I was thinking, if we have Wheel of Gifts then why not we have Wheel of Curses. It would still give some buffs to ally units, but would also buff enemy units in some way, to give a bit more challenge for those Rpve lovers out there. (Also would work in campaign)
    Name: Wheel of Curses
    Tier & Orbs: T3 shadow, frost, frost/shadow
    Type: Building
    Power: 180
    Hit points: 2000
    Passive Abilities:
The Cursed Shrine - If Wheel of Curses is present in game then buffs from Wheel of Gifts will be ignored and wont be given to ally units.
Curse of Leech - Once activated, enemy units will gain 10% leech of their max attack damage, but your own units will also gain leech 10% of their max health instead of attack, in addition your own units will leech friendly or unfriendly unit once per 15 seconds.
Curse of Shield - Once activated, friendly ally shielding will last only 60% of the original duration, but will be 40% stronger, in addition enemy unit shields will last 30% longer, but will take 20% more damage from all sources.
Curse of Bravery - Once activated, friendly units that are on their own will gain Bravery curse. Effected unit will gain 60% damage buff of their max attack and also will gain 30% increased damage taken in addition if unfriendly unit is alone it will gain 40% buff to damage dealt and also decreases damage taken by 30%.
Explanation of idea behind the card:
I always wondered why there isnt a different kind of wheel, that would not only benefit your own units, but also enemy units a bit, to make gameplay more challenging and interesting, there for I created this card.
Its a T3 Lost souls building type card (since I dont see a lot of use in Lost souls building cards) that would benefit both sides of the game. I also though if this card would be present with Wheel of Gifts then that would be too strong, there for I gave the card that passive that wont allow play the Wheels of Gift.
Each curse is different and plays around healing, shielding and those one unit decks decks, so you would have to improvise and and think which curse is better and which one to keep active and which you wont want to keep active since players run different decks and it might benefit you, but might now benefit your allies. Since I have seen that you can almost permanently keep up your shields on units, but with healing its not that strong so maybe like a passive leech on units that drain life from nearby units would be cool and interesting,
And since the Batarial nerfs (he is still strong, but not that strong), I though maybe it would give some love also to him with that Bravery.

Alright I also send my entry to Kapo but I also wanna share my idea so here it goes.
    Name: Amii Warmonger
    Tier & Orbs: T3, 1Shadow, 1Nature, 1AmiiHybrid
    Type: Unit
    Power: 140
Hit points and Size: 2000(without Upgrade) and Large
Attack value and Type: 2100 and L(Melee)

    Passive Ability:
Elusive: The duration of the immobilizing effects of Freeze and Paralyze is reduced by 10%.

    Active Abilities:
Battering Ram: Battering Ram is an active ability with a small aoe that allows the unit to charge into enemies (much like enforcer or strikers) and deals minimal damage (like extremely low) however it knocks back small, medium and large creatures (the knockback could be pretty big, like they were hit by a worldbreaker shot). The ability should be cheap like 10-20Power but with a extremely lenghty cooldown so it cant be spammed and stunlock the opponents.

    Power Essence:
Power Essence is a mode switch to the unit. Activating it is permanent and cannot be changed once active, it also disables Arcane Essence. Once activated this unit gets highly resistent to melee damage (Without Upgrades 60%, U1 70%, U2 80%, U3 90%) but also recieves more damage from ranged and magical attacks (Without Upgrades 60%, U1 50%, U2 40%, U3 30%). This ability costs 60Power.
    Arcane Essense:
Arcane Essence is a mode switch to the unit. Activating it is permanent and cannot be changed once active, it also disables Power Essence. Once activated this unit gets highly resistent to ranged and magical damage (Without Upgrades 60%, U1 70%, U2 80%, U3 90%) but also recieves more damage from melee attacks (Without Upgrades 60%, U1 50%, U2 40%, U3 30%). This ability costs 60Power.
This card gains more HP with every upgrade. The upgrades also changes the numbers on the Essence abilities.

Explanation of idea behind the card:
The Amii Warmonger should be based of the Abyssal Warden (Large Version) as its a model thats been rarely used so far. This unit comes with a main purpose, to be a battle initiator. Charging into enemies, scattering them and create an opening for your remaining army to strike. Just using this card for the Battering Ram makes it easy to use, but i think that more experienced players with enough map knowledge can also utilize the Essence abilities quite well. This unit was partly inspired by those Bandit Lords that you fight in the mission blight as they also had a anti magic aura. (Guess what kind of device you used to change that ;), thats right Amii).
The abilities also represent shadow and nature quite well, with the Essences having the typical shadow quirk to it, getting stronger in one aspect but also weaker in another, and with nature you have a crowd control ability with a high cooldown as a price. Just like with many other nature cards that are either very pricey or have high cooldowns.

If something is not well enough explained pls tell.
I also wanna give a quick shoutout to all of you guys who already presented their ideas. They are either absolutely amazing or so weird and strange that you still like it. Love this community so much man. Good luck to everyone! 🙂

    Name: Magma Phoenix
Tier & Orbs: T3, Fire Fire Neutral
    Type: Unit
    Power: 100
Hit points and Size: 700 plus L
Attack value and Type: 3500 plus ranged and special-counter
    Passive Abilities:
    * Fiery Dive: Unit starts a powerful and quick suicidal attack that deals 1000 damage to enemies in a 25m radius around its target, up to 3500 in total. Unit dies during the attack. Knocks back small and medium units. Affects ground targets only. Deals half the damage against buildings. Has a 6 seconds cool-down after the card was played out.
    * Swift: Swift: Moves at high speed.
Explanation of idea behind the card:
You would need 2 phoenix to kill 1 Vulcan or 1 Virtuoso if they are alone, but with 2 phoenix you could kill up to 3 Vulcan / Virtuoso, so high risk, high reward.
And why no reincarnation? Swift will increase the survival rate when going for a target, compared to Shadow Phoenix.
The dive animation should also be a little faster than Shadow Phoenix.
The half damage to buildings is necessary, otherwise you could bomb other players wells and orbs easily.

    Hi 🙂
I've already sent my take to Kapo on Discord but after people started sharing their ideas on here, I could'nt resist the urgue to post mine too! I honestly have no idea on how to balance a card, I just think the idea of this unit would be badass. It's kinda special from the looks, kinda like Bloodhorn, with nothing similar looking as a T4 unit to it (excapt Swiftclaws and the other medium Dinosaur units haha).

    Name: Amii Revenger
Ingame model based on a resized Swiftclaw
Tier & Orbs: T4, Nature Nature Shadow Shadow
    Type: Unit
    Power: 260
Hit points and Size: 5820 XL
Attack value and Type: 6350, melee, XL
Passive Abilities: Elusive - 10% less effected with crowd control / Rage - longer fights, more damage
Active Abilities: Fearsome Roar - 100 Energy - Enemy Units deal 20% less damage

Explanation of idea behind the card: I've always adored the small dinosaur units in Battleforge so I thought why not resize them for a badass Amii T4 unit? For me, Amii is the oldest fraction in Nyn, maybe they have these giant dinosaurs to protect their cities.

I know that Rainbow type cards arent allowed, but I could not resist in making this
    Name: Raven Battleship
Tier & Orbs: T4 all orbs
    Type: Unit
    Power: 300
Hit points and Size: 4600 XL
Attack value and Type: 4300 L, ranged
    Passive Abilities:
Broadside - Every 2 seconds, 4 turrets shoot independently, each dealing 90 damage to enemies in 6m radius, up to 130 total.
Slow - Slow movement in addition, if accompanied with 2 other Ravens unit will lose Slow
Might of the Fleet - If accompanied with Ravenheart, units morale will be increased there for dealing 25% more damage
    Active Abilities:
Grenade Shells - Active to unleash mighty 800mm cannons. Unit will release 4 shots each shot dealing 700 damage to enemies in 14m radius up to 3700 total. Has a long range of 40m. Knocks back small and medium units. Affects only ground targets. reusable every 30 seconds. In addition if accompanied with Ravenheart the radius is increased by 10m and will also knock back large units.
Explanation of idea behind the card:
I wanted to create this card, because the only T4 ship we have is Battleship and Ravenheart. Corsair is a bit weak and there for this card would be stronger Corsair version only it would come from the infamous Raven-squad. Card has decent amount of health and attack also a pretty cool new passive which would raise morale if their Captains ship is near them, I mean they are pirates. I made it ultrarare because if its rare I think its a bit over-tuned for it.
It was created because I know there are people who would love to see Ravenheart with his fleet not to mention control the fleet.
I hope you like the idea atleast fellow Skylords!

Card idea #2 which is on the serious note. Though I am still very on the fence, whether or not go for something else. Ahh, those decisions, decisions... 😄
    Name: Worldship
Tier & Orbs: T2, Nature and Shadow
    Type: Unit
    Power: 280
Hit points and Size: 2700 & XL
Attack value and Type: 2400 & ranged (M counter)
    Passive Abilities:
Ash Cannons - Every 2 seconds, 4 ashen turrets deal 60 damage each to enemies in 6m radius, up to 100 total.
Sail Catalyst - Unless this unit is surrounded by at least 4 friendy Nature, Shadow or Amii units within 25m radius, it will gain the Slow debuff.
Elusive - The duration of the immobilizing effects of Freeze and Paralyze is reduced by 10%.
    Active Abilities:
Blessed Temporal Field - 70 power
Activate to create a temporal field centered on the unit with a diameter of 25 m. Allied small and medium units within this field are immune to knockback effects, while also taking 30% less damage. Lasts for 20 seconds. The heavy load of the temporal generator means, that Worldship is unable to be healed during the effect. Reusable every 40 seconds.
Infused Temporal Field - 70 power
Activate to create a temporal field centered on the unit with a diameter of 25 m. Allied small and medium units within this field gain 70% siege damage, while also taking 15% less damage. Lasts for 20 seconds. The heavy load of the temporal generator means, that Worldship is unable to be healed during the effect. Reusable every 40 seconds.
Uses Battleship as a base model.
Explanation of idea behind the card:
Amii as a faction is still quite the blank slate, so it's hard to come up with actually researched propositions. But I will still try to make a case for Worldship, new Amii heavy support vessel. First thing first, it's the second XL T2 unit after Harvester, but it will not take over his sweet spot, as Worldship flies - thus losing some of the advantages of this type, while having the ability to navigate some obstacles. As it's main role is to support small and medium ground troops, it also gains a Slow unless it is near such units.
The idea is that Worldship will be spearheading attacks on enemy camps, shielding units from damage and knockbacks, or buffing them to deal faster with enemy buildings, especially spawners. Hefty bound price and extra power needed for the ability means the unit will be expensive, but worthwhile tool for Amii decks, while also synergizing with pure Nature and Shadow cards (small and medium units only). It shouldn't be an answer to every scenario, but might be most useful against heavily defended points.
Another balance factor is that it is unable to be healed (self, globally, shamans etc.) while the Temporal field effect is activated. Means you cannot just attack-move in the middle of the camp and sit back. Numbers probably need to be tweaked (no wonder), but I think the basic idea behind it could serve as an interesting addition to Nature/Shadow decks.
Also playing with the idea, that the Temporal Field could be a toggle (while also disabling attack of the unit, for balance).
