It would have been a good change if it had been implemented a long time ago, before the start of the SR open beta. Now, with the player base dwindling and the community feeling the effects of careless balancing and overreactions for fair critisim , it's just not as relevant anymore. At least it's good that this time you publicly announced the major change before its release, rather than insisting that someone just forgot about it and that people shouldn't criticize such situation. However, it doesn’t really make a difference in the current situation. For example in rPvE it stille better to change orb to Fire, build SoW and change it back, instead of taking new Amii in additional slot.
So Energy Core dies after it anyway?

I agree with this statement, but - Curse Well was a direct problem before, as it affected gameplay in PvP, which included players and their mutual gameplay directly. But Amii Monument is nigh exclusive for PvE content only, hence not quite as relevant in discussion of how OP it potentially is (albeit being a little bit too popular) - more so if neutral and available for all color variations.
Now, I also agree with this ideology, as it surely makes sense. However, let's be more pragmatic here - if we are truly eager to bring a normalizing aspect into the game, that would prevent players from cheating themselves through maps, instead of destructuring Amii as a Tier stepstone, it would be more fair to prevent abusement of exploits and bugs that exist in the game in the first place, LIKE nether warping through closed gates, like triggering map mechanics out of order or like ignoring 75% of the objectives due to a bug in spawned NPC behaviour (KotG cave block, Slave Master prisoner exploit, Matter Mastery interactions with specific map buildings, ...) and many more. If you want to be fair not only in gameplay, but in rankings too, you would have to ban atleast about 20–30 cards completely, as they somehow interact with a broken mechanic on a number of maps (thus making them an auto-include too for these maps), and erase most of said rankings after this change is employed, for you would still have a lingering issue of having players that actively exploit stuff to rank themselves high or finish the map ASAP against those that don't know how to do it or refusing to do it. Otherwise, a completely pointless debate, as this is trivially targeting a single card to abolish a widespread problem.
TL;DR - despite Monument being an issue of jumping from T2 to T4 straight, it is by far not the most concerning problem in the live game currently when it comes to gameplay.
Bonus Fun fact - Amii Monument is also bugged, as when you use it in T3 to get to T4, if any of your "standard" orbs gets destroyed, the price to rebuild it is 300, instead of 100 .

As much as I understand the Amii Monument change to omit cheating out T4 cards in map-phases where you shouldn't do so, the card is functionally ruined, as it's utility to "increase" the orb pool while staying "in-tier" is not that useful in most of the decks - instances where it might be cool is an addition of color to otherwise pure decks (especially situations like pure fire combined with nature heals etc.) or support-less decks, that usually dont have heals/CCs - and even then its basically to empower your T3 options.
For obvious reasons, the card is unusable in PvP.
So I am a little skeptical about it, as my assumption is a straight downfall in use of it altogether.

Of course, best deck for completley new player (and cheapest between top decks) will be Twilight deck, which holds position 4 after 3 top decks and is very enjoyable and not so intensive as Bloodhorn deck for example. Also it provides a lot for game knowledge.
You core cards will be Abomination (blue affinity! for example it's ability turns Twilight Infestator into nothing dangerous) which costs ~200 bfp and Twilight Pestilence for sustain(blue affinity - green only useful together with blue one) with ~20 bfp. It's really difficult for enemies to kill your Abominations under Twilight Pestilence(blue). As flying unit you can chose between Skycatcher (~400 bfp, not needed for newcomer) or Giant Wyrm (20bfp) or play with only Abominations as your T4 unit.
Also very good tool will be Twilight Protector's Seal (T3 card- ~100BFP) which blocks any attack from Lost Souls units.
You can chose between two T1 - cheaper Nature: Windweavers +1 Dryad (blue aff) or more expensive, but faster Nomads(green aff)+Mine+Eruption. If you start with Nature you dont need Shamans at all for PvE mode. Though you can use him of cours or other special options like Mana Wings, Firesworns etc)
This variant for rPvE will be cheapest, newplayers friendly and covers most of potential issues:
Eventually it can be changed to more expensive, for example like this
Twilight Curse is very helpful against Lost Vigils and even Bandit Soulhunter can become a bug.
Disenchant serve as additional help against Willzappers and Windhunters.
Cluster Explosion sometimes can clean enemy base in seconds.
There are other options: also Gladiatrix, Vileblood, Unity, Twilight Warfare, Inferno, Noxious Cloud, Twilight Pestilence(g), Fountain of Rebirth, Blaster Cannon, Healing Gardens.

Well, I understand reasoning behind the idea why Discord used instead of Forum. Forums are quite dead nowdays. What I dont understand - why we dont have completely free and open discussion in community driven project, as it was called long time ago. Why we have secret nerfs of most important cards in game?
During first era of balancing open discussions proved to be really well, sadly this era came to and end, because Hanna was busy with a lot of stuff and had no time to follow so many discussions, and test and implement changes by herself. I doubt anyone could imagine back then how it will be turned later. Nowdays we have are in the age of secret unnanounced nerfs, which were intentionally kept secret, so players couldnt interfere in decision making process with any thoughts.

Discord system is simply more modern, you cannot reach such level of engaging with possibility to use voice chats and other possibilities with old forum system.

if you don't like competing against speedrunners you should consider playing in pve league, you compete against people of your own rank and skill level in separate divisions. We have complete newbies aka low silver ranks winning challenges all the time

How do you even balance cards if you added a useless Sleet Rain card? You wrote about this card a long time ago, did you test it at all? Where are you going to use it if it has such a slow animation. She does no damage. The situation with Batariel is repeated, when he was nerfed, and he had to be updated again to the old level, while Pritstift told you how to properly balance it since the begining, and eventually you had to do as he said. Now a card has been introduced, which must immediately be upgraded to an acceptable level. Have you seen how slow her animation is? How can you ever be trusted with a balance if you keep making ridiculous mistakes?
Worse, you don't pay any attention to the criticism, and you've gotten good players out of the game. You have made it so that Pritstift and Treim have already left the game due to your balancing. Do you want no strong players left at all?

It's awful design decision. Now people will simply build T3 Fire orb and change it to for Shadow. Besides slowing game process it changes nothing, same with Breeding Grounds. It's especially funny to hear about design in this case, considering that players doesnt like afk waiting parts of gaming, so noone really want to wait to collect energy. Real game design wise decision would be to make SoW less powerful by making enemies more powerful. Or somehow differently instead of simple slowing game process with orb changing.
In community driven project players who were charged by community to make changes has no rights to make such gamechanging changes without completely open discussion, when everyone can interfere and take look how they came to their conclusions about such changes. Instead of this we got secret unanounced nerf, which wasnt mentioned anywhere, besides secret private talks. Just in good old tradition of secret Nether Warp nerf, which was stopped only because it was noticed by pro players. Most shame decision making process in modern BF story, formerly known as community driven project.
And what about Slit Storm - how it was supposed to be used with 5 seconds charging time? Only Slow units cannot avoid it. It could be good card, if it would slow units in the area for these 5 seconds, before applying final effect. T3 very nerfed version of T1 Nature Roots with additional Gravity Surge effect.

Answer is simple - pushing Egg wasn't this enjoyable. Map was greatly done though, except this part.

Loriens liked a post in a topic by Trando in Oracle - Discussion Thread
Hello, not sure if this is the right location for this but normally i believe Skylords to be a very selective game, while speedrunning oracle a bit i found it alot of pain, that it involves randomness, meaning the spawning location of the 4 wagons, which render 15 out of 16 starts to this map completly useless, because you want a specific order in which the wagons appear, and others are just plain insta reset. So my Idea would be to fix the spawn of 4 of those stone locations, so that first you need to clear all parts of the map and second it is fun again to speedrun this map. Is there a reasoning other than time that speaks against this? Would love to hear feedback for this

Thanks for the feedback, we thought as much, but always wise to double check.
The original idea of the event did not include a speedrun challenge, and making the egg-pushing smoother would drain quite a bit more extra time. In the end, it would probably have been correct to skip the speedrun contest for this one, so people would just focus on the ''hey this is fun!'' instead of ''this is kinda tedious..''.

I agree on this one. While it was looking fun and indeed a cool mechanic, it frustrated the hell out of me in some serious tries and prevented me to do a better time often enough that I gave in to frustration.
Like, instead of charging in a straight line, the Eggforcer sometimes decided to do a L-shaped charge in some spots and the egg went to unexpected places - multiple times in a row.

Imho the answer to this question is even simpler.
Boosters alone are no longer a really big incentive for players. Not only do you get them every day, many players are now about to complete their collection or already have it.
Cosmetics on the other hand, that can only be obtained over a short period of time, with which you can show "Date XYZ, I was there", are a better motivator in my opinion. And yes, a one-off cosmetic was also available in this case, but just for playing the map, not for participating in the contest.
I have to admit that after the first standard run, I myself did not try to do an expert run. I already had the Cosmetic and - I have to agree with Liorans on this one - it wasn't that much fun after all to spend more time on a chance to get boosters.
The fear of missing out on something is definitely not negligible if you're only aiming to reach as many players as possible with something. And if you want players to take part in the contest, the limited availability cosmetics should have been used for this aspect of the event and not just as a participation goodie.
tl;dr: Since I said that it was simpler than Liorans reason: Booster for participation, limited availability cosmetic for the ambitious contestants.
