Actually it has some problems currently. The most problems are caused by the current parameters.

One problem is that ~420 BFP (Booster) for 30 minutes playtime is to much. And if you play only 29 minutes you get nothing, except, that the played time is transfered to next day.

I disagree. It took me weeks to discover the hole game. There are every now and then new community maps.

Yes, and one problem is, that you get absolutely nothing after you finished your dailys. (Except gold, but anyone who plays this game for a while has more gold than he needs)

There is still the daily boost

Let me explain it beginner frendly: With the daily boost, you get faster. After the daily boost: the more you play, the rate of BFP will be slowed down.

For me as a speedrunner, there is no favourite color

That's not correct. For earning Gold, you need to win a map. For BFP you need to play long.

They are not getting unified, since you still need to win matches for Gold, while I agree, that taking the daily booster away, could take incentives further away. But you still get booster for achivements. I am not sure, if the fun to open a booster will increase, if you have less of them, but I think it will.

Because you will get nothing for alt-tab. Just try it, if you want to.

You still get boosters for achivements

I also dont know, who you are. But if you throw around with 50 cents just throw it to me. I always need that 50 cents

It is not a feature, that the Units will not get killed? Never happend to me, that the Units of a disconnected player are getting killed. (I really mean approx. 0/100).

-The brackets for the tournament will be shuffled before the tournament starts.
-As an experiment, no T1 Towers will be allowed in this tournament (Mortar, Phase, Ice shield, Primal Defender). Other supportive stuctures (like Ice barrier) are free to use.

  12. Halis liked a post in a topic by Kubik in 2 - deck empty (AH and ready on the same time)
many actions like opening mails, creating auctions... cause your inventory to refresh
this is bad EA's design and we can not fix it without writing our own client
when the refresh happen game send packets to server (get cards, get boosters, get upgrades, ...) and expect to get response
the problem is it sending the packets one by one and expect the response to be the first packet it receive.
before that packet reach the server it can be 0.5 second (if player is in Australia)
if any packet arrive sooner than the response you will have no Cards (or boosters, or upgrades, ...) that includes chat messages, group requests, trade requests, deck requests, ... that can be send at any time
I limit that issue by queuing these packets in launcher, which creates only small window in which these packets can arrive before the response

Speedrunning is much more about than simply using bad design of the game. First you need to create a efficient strategy. That requires much knowledge about the map and the cards in BF. The strategy will use the most efficient way to win the map. If bad game design allows you to finish the map faster, you include it in your strategy. After you got that strategy you need to perform it in the best possible time. Every unit needs to placed in time. You need to follow you strategy like a machine. If you place a unit 5 seconds to late, the run is over, you need to restart the map, because other could perform it better and beat your time. This is of course not everyones taste. If someone calls this hole process just "cheaty gameplay" then he does not know much about it.
@Kilian Dermoth you do not seem to know much about speedruns. In fact you can not just skip a huge part of the story like Guns of Lyr or Soultree in the majority of the maps. They are probably just the most common speedruns. But still you left so many commend here. So who is the loud one here
By the way the about the balancing: I think, the EA devs achieved their goal. It is not coincedence that Nature and Frost are bad for aggresseiv gameplay and fire suits very well for this. It is by design. Did you all watched the Battleforge tutorial?

That's not exactly the case with aggressor. It's not conseidered too weak in higher rankings, it's more of a unit with a special task wich can also be done by other units (countering L units). It is used as L counter wich is costly but therefor perma CCs things that could otherwise get annoying for stonekin like skyfire drakes, war eagles, mounties...
Anyway imo the main reason why balancing is impossible for lowranks is that there is no meta. A pure fire deck in higher rankings is mostly the same except 2 or 3 cards. That's just the deckcomposition endless players found out to be the strongest in endless games. Now pure fire in low ranks might be something totally crazy and unefficent, maybe it has T4, maybe it has no spells at all, just 20 units...how are you gonna balance THAT? Players in these ranks don't know about hte countersystem, voidpower, how losing a well or an orb makes you lose power permanently. Once they learn those things they normally move to higher ranks.
  19. Halis liked a post in a topic by SunWu in Balance changes to game
There is no balance in low level PVP play. Players use the cards they know are strong in PVE. Then they see their 50 power units getting knocked back by an 150 power aggressor and then think aggressor is OP (wich of course is not). Balancing is impossible for this level of skill (if you want to balance it for the toplevel of skill at the same time)

    Hey guys,
Its great that this thread is so active and so many of you guys put in your time and energy to create constructive posts, but I’m starting to get the sentiment that things are starting to get out of hand and into flaming territory. It would be a shame to have to potentially hand out repercussions and so forth.
So please refrain from posts that are starting to be in offensive category, and give factual reply to what people’s opinions are. You can disagree with their opinion but you don’t need to do it in a way that  potentially attack their character or their person.
    Thanks.

In my point of view the opinion of the devs should count more than new player's opinion. I would recommend the folowing order:
Devs and Community Managers Player's who made really usefull suggestions in the past in the forum (like Treim, who wrote a lot of tutorials in the forum and made really good suggestions) Highly skilled players, Speedrunners and Top PvP Players (like LEBOVIN and HighTech) Players who are playing for a longer time, but are not really good at it Players who started recently playing (categorisation is left to the devs impressions)
Dont worry, if Kubik would not care about the community's opinion, he would not have created this topic. You can just explain, why even Santa can be usefull in some speedruns
