I used to visit this (and the previous) site alot before. Now? Not so much. Here's why: 1. I do agree that the devs (while appreciating their hard work) have that aura of amateurism around them. They are over-ambitious, they set release dates they cant possibly keep and while I fully understand that this project comes AFTER their real life obligations I really don't think they should communicate things like 'We're getting very close to a release/We're just about there/Hang in there guys, almost there' towards their community - it just makes them look stupid and leave people frustrated. 2. The devplatform is an admirable addition, but completely useless. The casual gamer doesn't want to read bugfixes and patch notes every time they come see what's up. I really don't mean to be rude but I personally couldn't care less that a solution was found to a problem that wasn't a problem to me in the first place since I cannot access the game yet. I'm sure the couple dozen or whatever lucky people are happy about them though. 3. The site is extremely polarized with trolls on one side and white knights on the other. Both groups are obnoxious and their toxic presence makes me want to not visit the site too often. Just my 2 cents

All I'm gonna say is that while I *really* appreciate their work and effort they put in this project, they need to work on their communication..I mean, you set a date, you got people fired up, no words from the dev team..what were you expecting? Of course they are gonna come and rage (and let's be honest, they are not completely wrong doing so). That's just the way people are, man. I personally don't care wether it's a day, a month or a year till this thing becomes reality but try not to make promises you can't deliver cause this is how it's gonna end.

Whenever I think of Battleforge Fathom Lord comes instantly to my mind so I guess Fathom Lord (and his epic voice) gives me the most nostalgia.

I love all factions. I really do. But I came to realize that I'm a pure frost guy at heart.

I don't mind waiting as long as they keep us informed.

My favourite spell ever (just look at my thread about your fav cards) - I believe its very strong with Roots because no one ever expects the Parasite. Yummy!

Well, Im expecting the usual stuff...some reassurance that they are still working hard (which Im sure they do and we all love them for this), some numbers regarding the project, some messing around in the Forge...this time I hope Im proven wrong and it will be a litte more than that.

Unfortunately Im not hyped anymore...will watch the stream regardless
