Kapo 847
It would be nice if you would add an optional clock somewhere. I know that tabbing out of the game is a possibility, but when I'm on my Craptop its kind of a gamble. Besides, clocks in games are a necessary tool to control gaming habits - Battleforge shouldnt be clockless like a casino 😉 Metagross31 and Volin like this
Ladadoos 1083
I wonder, do other games have in-game clocks? If so, which? Â

some have, some dont. thats why I would make this one optional, maybe default-off. thinking further on it you could disable/enable it in the Forge and Ingame seperatly maybe? Kubik 309
World of Warcraft did have last time I play it, Wurm have, Path of Exile have, and I am sure there are other games as well. Metagross31 likes this
Kapo 847
What I am thinking, a white font small digital 12:34 wont hurt in that spot Metagross31 and Volin like this
Ladadoos 1083
If that spot is empty for all resolutions, then it should not be difficult to add the current time there. But I am not sure if it is empty, so that would have to be checked.

Ladadoos 1083
Thanks for checking: I suppose a different spot will have to be found then.
wanky 140
maybe on the top right, right next to the energy display (left of it, between quest display and the options buttons when ingame, in the frog just right next to the map) could be a free spot for all resolutions. Whether this is a common feature nowadays I can not answer. Since I play with 2 screens, and at the same time clock wearer, I never pay attention to it, because I am surrounded by clocks at gewonten places. So I don't know if you can set this in the settings somewhere. As a little food for thought, is it possible to improve this extremely slow and halting minimizing/maximizing of the game? In other games (eg Dota2) I can have the game open on the monitor, and it without minimizing on monitor 2 briefly click something in the browser (eg youtube) and then click directly further in the game without any delay. Can make an example video on request, would then simply be filmed with the cell phone 🙂   /wanky

I know there is issue, that the window can not be moved when the game is loading (or waiting for a packet) which is annoying, but that can not be solved without complete rewrite of the game. wanky 140
it's not a big issue tabbing out usually just takes about 5 seconds instead of the usual 0.5 seconds. If the whole game would have to be rewritten for this I see that the effort is not worth it
Kubik 309
no I mean I can not reproduce you issue, for me tabbing out is instant. I have different issue that when starting game, or waiting for packet it does not respond at all.
MarcoMaar 25
If chat has timestamps (which is another feature request) would we still need/want a separate clock?

Honest answer: If we all would live in wonderland with endless ressources, I would say a clock would be more convienient and nicer-looking then timestamps. But I'm perfectly happy to enable timestamps and have the information in the screen, no matter where 😃 Volin and MarcoMaar like this
