Since at least a month I am working on the same topic. Not an improvement but rather new functionality. Sorry for not being specific but once we get closer to finalizing it you can read about it in our community update. Hope people will like it.
Also I am glad to hear to you enjoy those improvements/changes 🙂

Not to mention Activision Blizzard is more than happy to let people use multiple accounts because that means multiple subscriptions. They are multi-dipping individual power users for extra cash. And even then they eventually decided that they have to at least crack down on automated multiboxing because, you guessed it, it provided too big of an advantage over anyone not doing it. Sure, in their case it was purely a business decision. They probably noticed increasing dissatisfaction among the population with only one account that threatened their bottom line more than the multiboxing population benefited it. This simply proves the point that multi accounting that is tied to progression can be extremely troublesome.
You already got an answer from me regarding that but if you want more, I enjoyed the restrictions of having to work with unupgraded and random cards just as much as I now enjoy having a wealth of resources to build decks from. I even often intentionally restrict myself during deckbuilding, using cards that don't normally see use. I liked trying to make what I had work. Overcoming the difficulties despite suboptimal cards. The short- and mid-term goals were really enjoyable. What progression is more lacking are long-term goals and something to do with excess resources.
Please stop pretending like people are getting banned because they innocently want to play the game more. They are getting banned for actively and intentionally undermining the intended design of the progression system in an extremely drastic fashion that would have them advance many times faster than someone that does not. They are not needlessly getting banned. It's not like they are merely trying to get the most out of the progression on their own account. They want to circumvent it entirely.
The example about someone wanting to start fresh because they invested their resources into things they didn't end up enjoying is a bit outlandish. You won't get more gold on a new account, so in both cases, you'd start from 0. On the contrary even, you won't be able to do the content that nets more gold in the beginning, so you'd be even slower. And the "failed" collection can always be liquefied into BFP to buy something else. That scenario you try to sell as the "innocent rookie case for multi accounting" doesn't really exist in that form.
But one big issue I am seeing from this thread is the disregard and lack of understanding for the underlying psychology that game design strives to adhere to. Almost reducing it to surface level statement like "more stuff faster = better" with little context. Psychology is an extraordinarily important aspect that the current design aims to take into account. What is also missing is, more specifically, an analysis about what the current progression system aims to do and how it tries to achieve that. There are also too few to no critical examination of what the issues of proposed adjustments would be. They're merely presented as being "better", which isn't the case at all. Everything has pros and cons, it's a matter of priorities.
One can definitely feel the frustration about progression speed but then it's mostly unguided ranting. It lacks elaborate specifics. All in all, I don't really feel like a lot of helpful thoughts can be salvaged from this. Best anybody can take from this thread is "dissatisfaction noted, guess we can try to figure out something reasonable, maybe". Which, to my understanding, is something that's already actively being worked on.

Both suggestions make sense to me.
We discussed already internally that we might rework the auction house workflow at some point.
It's certainly odd that you get those via mail and there are way better ways to creating/re-auctioning/collecting/cancelling auctions.

That doesn't seem very related to your point at all honestly. He is saying he doesnt enjoy rPvE, so he wants to play a normal campaign map. That is not related to rewards or grinding at all.
We have already pointed out why multi-accounting is, and will not, be allowed, so I dont get why you keep calling it ''needlessly banning players'', since we already gave explanations of why this system is in place (ironicly, to make sure people like you, who dont have a lot of time, dont have to compete with just older players, but also multi-accounting).
As for PvP, you don't need to grind for PvP. You can get the most played cards from the free rental decks, and you can swap (and adjust!) those decks. Those decks are being played at the top level, so unless you want to play a pet card or make a small adjustment (which you can), you dont need to grind for PvP at all.
Anyway, as mentioned before, we are already looking into solutions to give players more reward for playing after the daily, without allowing multi-accounting.
It would be way more helpful to share suggestions for that, then to argue about the multi-account ban, because that rule is not leaving.

The current system is meant to reward players with more BFP for playing after quests. But without enabling the possibility of more time investment resulting in insurmountable advantages for progression.
How would you design a system that rewards players for playing more without having it feel exhausting, mandatory or it resulting in massive advantages for people that play more, making everyone who doesn't have as much time, feel like their efforts are meaningless? Which boundaries would you set so that people can't exploit the system by simply artificially stretching their in-game time?
Which achievements in particular? And how would you stagger them so people don't just do them early on and then still have none to do later?
How would you design the dailies so that PvE players don't feel forced to participate in PvP in order to have good progression even though they don't enjoy it? Otherwise this would result in people cheesing PvP missions with faux matches where players search each other out to complete the quests. Which is more tedium and helps nobody.

No, you don't ... go figure that one out yourself.
As to what I am doing, when I feel like it, I am building some whacky off-meta decks and approach problems from a different angle than the established meta way while still staying within the games boundaries. There has to be a balance between intrinsic and extrinsic motivation at some point. Feels like you want to lean way more heavily on the extrinsic side.
You know, how about we try to steer this entire thing into a more productive direction because, frankly, allowing multi accounting would undermine the entire progression system. You would then have to rebalance everything under the assumption of everyone having multiple accounts, multiplying their progression speed. Which, in turn, would royally bumfuck anyone that isn't twinking. At which point, as a side effect, you'd also start seeing people burn out from having to manage multiple accounts. A silly notion all around. As such it simply will not happen so you are wasting your keystrokes.
Instead, give some ideas on how to improve the current progression system, offering interesting long-term goals that don't trivialize card and upgrade acquisition yet provide a constant, juicy carrot on a stick that's worth striving for. Also, take into account that people need something to worthwhile to do with their resources when they collection is nearing completion or they have all they want. But do it under the premise of only having one account.

I'd prefer the ability to mark multiple auctions and cancel those for more control. Like you'd mark files in a folder. With Shift-Click to mark everything from the first to the last clicked item.
-
Volin liked a post in a topic by Kapo in Cancel ALL Auctions Button
As the title says - mainly because every time you get a mail from the auction house, the game stutters (sometimes more, sometimes less). So if you put up alot of auctions that takes some time to set them up, and when you try to do a harder mission when they all return you are locked out of normal play for 15+ Minutes cause they all trickle in one by one.
You can cancel them one by one, but that takes some time too. So what would be very nice is a "Cancel all auctions"-Button to clear things up for you and you can play normally.

Volin liked a post in a topic by Xanatoss in How to make PvP more attractive (Discussion)
I disagree that the solution to pvp attraction is "obviously and simply" more rewards, because if that would be the case, devs would have amped it up already (and gladly i guess).
The main issue is, that pvp for many players is stressful, especially 1v1 because it puts you on the spot. Nobody to blame (except balance :>, though devs doing a great job of improving it) and your opponent preys on your errors unlike the AI in PvE. As I read though, there are PvP-Modes in development which are more like Arcade (like Deathmatch Arena) and therefore less stressful. I think that is a step in the right direction.
There was a chat-discussion recently where players interested in pvp argued that they would get roflstomped by veteran players if they would queue up. I responded that if at least two of those rookie players teamed up, they could play sparring games against each other instead of feeding their ladder points.
Following that thought, I started a format this evening called the "Rookie-Fightclub" (shameless copycat) and repeatedly invited players via chat to join my spectator 1v1-lobbys to either play, observe or discuss pvp-questions. Main issue so far was driving out the seasoned players who would "just watch"; but by doing so blocked the lobby and startled the rookies away.
Nevertheless my first attempt went promisingly and I am going to continue this format during the next weeks.

I agree it can come off a bit misleading, but this document is also meant to be convey our long term thinking on Pure Frost and in only a few weeks it will be on the live server anyway. I will think about the idea of giving Winter Witch the ability as well.

Greetings Skylords!
It's been two weeks already since our last community update so it's time to bring you up to speed with everything going on in Skylords Reborn!
Test Server Patch
A new patch has hit the test server, including another batch of balance changes and adjustments. This patch contains many balancing changes and experimental changes for both PvE and PvP, with Frost specifically getting some love this time. We have also sent the first reworked versions of the 2vs2 maps to the test server!
Please take a look at the patch notes, test them out on the test server and take part in the discussion.
A detailed list of changes with images will become available in the wiki in the upcoming days.
There have now been a couple of patches to the test server, resulting in a big difference between the current state of the game on the live server and the card adjustments on the test server. Which brings us to:
Upcoming Patch
We are now preparing the next patch for the live servers. It has been a while since our last patch, so expect this to be a big one with tons of balance changes for both PvP and PvE. Because of this, we have quite a bit of work ahead of us and we expect this patch to release in the beginning of August. We hope you are looking forward to a new meta with new strategies to play with.
We will share more information about the specific changes in our next community update on the 31st of July.
New Cards development update
To manage expectations: we will not release new cards in this upcoming patch. As mentioned in a previous community update, we are currently creating new cards for Bandits (Fire/Shadow), Amii (Nature/Shadow) and Pure Frost.
New card development is going well, but we are treading new territory here and want to take our time to make sure our first new cards are the best they could be. This still could take quite a while, but please rest assured we are working hard to give you some cool new cards to play with!
Meanwhile we are continuing rolling out balance patches to give underplayed cards some love, and offer you new strategies and options for all the factions in the game. New cards can be tools to help fill these specific roles, but we are also looking at adjusting existing cards to reach the desired result.
We are also taking a deep dive into each faction separately, spending a lot of time figuring out what makes the faction tick, its strengths and weaknesses and where it could need some help to allow for a more diverse play style.
Deep Dive: Pure Frost
Frost has been our primary focus for the past several months and our team is excited to finally get to share our work with the community. Attached you will find a document exploring the Frost faction in detail, including upcoming changes and a tease of our first new card!
While Frost has been the first faction on our list, in the future other factions will also be receiving major changes. As our focus shifts from one faction to another we will continue to provide insights into our thinking through future documents like this one.
We hope this look into Frost has helped you to understand both the faction better and our reasoning behind the upcoming changes.

I really wanted to play the original battleforge, but for some reason I didn't have the opportunity. I am very glad that now there is a Skylords Reborn and I was finally able to play.
I'm a beginner and here's a fan art of my favorite card.

Even though I feel more comfortable on maps where I can stop Moon from yakking (aka BG), I'll be there for the fun again.
My plan so far: Participation in 3 different colors with 3 fundamentally different teams.
The shadow team is already set.
One of these teams I would like to form with someone with whom I have long nothing, or never done anything - which I am looking for here.
There are still many familiar faces, with whom one has never done anything together, maybe one of you would like to? But I would like to emphasize, I am also very happy to work with a newcomer.
Looking forward to messages to Volin#8101 (Discord prefered), or ingame, or in the forum.
I am German, so active at usual Central European times.
The only non-negotiable thing for me would be the willingness to voice-communication (in German or English). 🙂
PS: And my Shadow-Mate is still flexible. If you say: "Hey, I'd love to be there with you, but shadow would be my only option" please send me a message anyways.
PPS: Prefered colors would be Fire and Frost, but open for everything.
PPPS: Guess I got my teams, thanks everybody!

Hello Skylords, Skyladies and other Skybeings.
We are back with yet another official PvE event since release.
We hope you will have a lot of fun with this event!
What kind of event will it be?
PvE - Slave Master - Advanced Solo or with a teammate
Slave Master on Advanced Difficulty with a twist! Follow all restrictions and requirements to finish this map as fast as possible.
For example, one of the restrictions is you are only allowed to use cards from the First Edition. See below for more information and all restrictions.
There are 5 different submission types, which differentiate between Fire, Nature, Frost, Shadow and Mixed.
Each has their own prize pool.
That's not all! There are other awards like the Quirky Defence, which is a Community Award that we will be voting for live on stream at the end of the event.
When will it start?
We will accept entries starting from 12.07.2021 00:00 CEST.
The event will run for approximately 2 and 1/2 weeks, so you have time until the end of July. To be specific: 28.07.2021 23:59 CEST.
You can send your replays through DM to me on Discord (Minashigo Hiko#1126) or through a PM to me on the forum.
How can I participate?
You just have to send in your fastest replay, including the player names and the submission type. [Note: your entry has to be a victory/in the ranking]
For example: "Hiko,Majora - Pure fire Deck"
Please note: You are allowed to send in three different replays, but not more than one per submission type (this will be counted per player, not per team).
You can find your replays here: Documents=>Battleforge=>replays
Nice, but where is the difficulty?
This event will not have a point system, but there will be some requirements/restrictions you have to fulfill to successfully participate in the event.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Restrictions:
You may only use First Edition (Twilight Edition) cards. If you participate with a friend, one can only defend the twilight waves, while the other one can only attack (see below for more information). The defender is only allowed to defend and attack the left side of the map. The attacker is only allowed to attack the right side of the map. Players are allowed to cross the line to the other side, but are restricted from attacking or using offensive spells there. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Requirements:
Destroy at least one of the patrolling Battleships on your own. No member of the Treasure fleet can die. Collect all 6 gold chests. You can find the location of these chests at the "Chests" tab above the map:
https://skylords-reborn.fandom.com/wiki/Slave_Master Both players have to use decks of the same type, which means that both of you need to fulfill the submission type or it will be counted,
as a "Mixed" entry. For example, if Player A uses Pure Frost, Player B will also have to use Pure Frost for the run to count toward a Pure Frost run.
If Player B plays a non-frost deck, the run is considered "Mixed" --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sounds fun! What's the prize pool?
There will be several prize pools: Fire, Nature, Frost, Shadow and Mixed. Submissions will be categorized in one of these groups depending on what kind of deck you play and submit (a submission without a submission type will be automatically counted as "Mixed")
Both teams will be rewarded in case of a draw.
Each submission type gets different rewards and all rewards are per player.

Once you are satisfied with your result, DM (Minashigo Hiko#1126 on Discord) or PM your best replay to me (in the forum).
You can submit up to three times, but not more than one per submission type. Make sure to add the submission type you went for in the replay name! Make sure to mention if you want to apply for a community award (The Quirky Defense) or one of the Bonus Awards. Wait until the end of the contest (28.07.2021 23:59 CEST) to see if you have won some prizes! We will announce the winners in a stream on the 31.07.2021 02.08.2021 19:00 CEST.

Metagross31 liked a post in a topic by Volin in Eruption damage calculation is bug if there are dead target
If a unit has 150 HP and you do an eruption on it, the unit can have more than 150 damage dealt to it, the rest of the "overhanging" damage then goes to nowhere.
When damage is dealt in a radius, it is always distributed from the inside out. If you repeat the test and apply the eruption only slightly offset, you will always get different results.
The fact that units get 100% damage of a skill/spell even though they have less HP and that the rest is then just over it, is by the way a comprehensible and from other games quite known damage calculation for me, depending on the spells/skills mechanics. But even though it's understandable to ME here, of course our devs may agree with you here and consider the overhanging damage a "bug".
Btw the result I get mostly with this is: 1 Dead, 3x 150 and 1x 75 -> so I usually "loose" only 75 of the max dmg - This 75 "missing" damage to the max dmg was then allocated to the dead gladiatrix in this case
If you want to report bugs joining the Balancing Discord, as @Metagross31 already proposed, would be a good idea to keep track with already known issues and ongoing changes, to refer to the Frost Shard.
