  1. It's client sided, we can't influence it. Moving to appropriate section
  2. You haven't been able to reproduce it as it is not a bug. The game client simply does not like the fact you've alt-tabbed out of the game, and when you get back in the game tries to sync everything your view has missed, thus sometimes causing a disconnect. This cannot be prevented on the server side, so I'd suggest you not to alt-tab out of the matches. There is no exact cause nor a fix for this.
  3. Why would you be sorry? I'm opened to constructive, argument-supported criticism. I'm not denying I don't sometimes go "over the line" with certain phrases and statements. Some people might not be emphatic with us whatsoever, and we don't go around stating the same and blatantly complaining. That said, you can't really expect professionalism from some of us, for which this is the first bigger project with this amount of people. Understanding can be achieved from both sides, but frankly I'm at the point of trying my best to talk with different minded people the argumented way. If I feel people are too stubborn, I may sometimes overreact or just simply stop responding (it's usually the latter).
  4. Yet again, whatever I say, people will find a way to make it negative or draw out unintended negative parts. My posts have no intentions of harming anyone's feelings.
  5. Yes, that's true, and it backfired on us - no one's denying it I went over the line with hype build-up.
  6. It's not our own fault that EA failed miserably and had to shut down this game. Is there any other alternative to playing this game? No, there isn't, so I guess you'll have to wait a tad bit longer for this to come out, whether you like it or not. I've been working on this project for almost 3 years now, and still getting bashed by "people" like you. We don't owe anything to anyone, let that sink in first! No one is a passive aggressive b***h, I don't know how you people making psychological assumptions based on a single sentence. Also, better watch your mouth, you're certainly breaking forum rules.
  7. So you're bothered by the whole communication we're having with you as a community? That's the impression I got from your statement, just as the hype part you got from mine. Weekly dev posts are not enough? Discord or forums' private messages anytime as well? Streams also? Out of everything you can and could have quoted, you're still tied to those two words "no time", which, as me and you said, have different time frame in everyone's point of view.
  8. QUOTE: "When bugs like "accepting group invites causing the crash of the world server" got fixed just now, then it seems like there is still a very long way to go until the game is ready for an OB release." ANSWER: There is a lot of context missing from those kinds of changes, because I tend to simplify and generalize those changes for the public so people can read nice changelog instead of the one few pages long, which is pointless and boring, both to write and read. QUOTE: "The "in no time" line was already a month ago." ANSWER: So? "in no time" is not a valid period/interval of the time itself, thus can last anywhere from 1 month to 1 year (in my point of view). QUOTE: "I'm obviously not a programmer but to me it seems very possible that it could very well take another few months until the game is ready for an OB release. " ANSWER: Yes, sorry for trying to make this game as bug free as possible. Rather have a stable and working game with satisfied community than unstable and crashing one with people raging for the inability of having servers up for consistent 12 hours. QUOTE: "Statements like the above cause unnecessary hype, and when hyped up expectations can't be fulfilled there will be disappointment and ultimately hate. " ANSWER: That statement was not intended to create any more hype, I just can't see how you got that feeling out of it.
  9. I saw something on this, could you elaborate more? What is that exactly, and doesn't that concern the items that are bought with real life money?
  10. Archiving this for now as it isn't really a bug. However, if this continues to happen regardless of the speed and frequency, let me know
  11. Couldn't reproduce this with 2 of my local accounts, you have to wait for other player's game to load and that might take some more time. Archiving this for now
  12. @LeSighduck Our excuses are not bullshit, other than that I'd agree with your statement.
  13. That's flood protector doing its job - preventing too fast booster buying and opening. You are not duplicating nor triplicating anything, you're just getting an error packet which contains no boosters and then you trigger the refresh with some action like shop or inventory opening, which resyncs your booster collection. The booster amount at any time is the same.
  14. Damn, some fine pieces of art here.
  15. Our launcher and needed files were compiled for 64bit Windows because of the technical stuff where 32bit Windows might misbehave. We might compile binaries for 32bit Windows, but in today's world it's really the easiest way to upgrade your Windows.
  16. This is a working mechanic, not a bug. Archived
  17. Can't reproduce. Have you played with game files in any way? Doesn't seem like server issue
  18. Lol, yes it was the first time, care to link me to the article that mentiones a delay that I, lead developer of this project, am not aware of? Mandella effect maybe? Yes, too bad more people dont understand this - longer you wait, better experience you get.
  19. "Oh look, I have a car with only base skeleton and an engine, wanna take your family for a test ride?" People have right to doubt and have right on their own opinion, just as much as I have to write my responses the way I write them. Eventually, all those doubters and haters will come to play the game as there is no other solution so far on the Net.
  20. @Fotti "I've been in the shoes of those developers, working so hard to revive our favorite game." - Proof or didn't happen "I actually don't believe that those devs are able to pull this stuff. So young and lacking experience..." - Young yes, lacking experience? No. I'm 8 years in programming business so argument invalid. "I predict that nothing will be playable, except the forge in the next 2 years." - How so when there were so much testers playing and streaming stuff from old server? I'd like to see you reverse engineer a game completely, then code a server counterpart for it, then make an application that can edit game files you didn't have a clue about how they work. Oh, and make it all in timespan of 2.5 years. The amount of work I've put into this is immense, I won't tolerate anyone bashing my 2.5 years work. As @Ultrakool said and this may sound arrogant, if there wasn't for me you'd still be stuck with dev updates regarding old C# server, let alone have a new version rewrite at the point it is currently. If I snap, quit and don't come back, you won't be able to play this game until 2020 so be grateful. Point me to a project or game studio that has weekly updates as we have and is involved with their community as we are. That's what I thought, you can't, so be sure you collectively don't mess up whole staff<>players relationship.
