Rooting units almost never see any play even though it's an interesting mechanic, but I feel like giving them some kind of ability to teleport while rooted (maybe Tunneling or Nether Warp or something) might give them some kind of use, but since nothing like that exists I was wondering if there's some balance aspect I'm missing with that.

can u move a tree if he is rootet in the dirt? Shure its a game. but tbh?

  2. Simply as information for the non-speedrunners.
For each map we invest several months / weeks every evening many hours of work to come to a good and fast tactics with many small details that are all extremely important.

Imagine you are in school and have math.
The teacher sets a math problem which takes several hours to come to the solution.  But at the same time gives the solution.
Now you just write the solution below after the =.
Now you have written down the solution but the whole way to the solution you have not considered and do not understand it. If now a new task comes WITHOUT the solution, you would maby only come to the solution after several hours of work, but perhaps not at all.

As a single example NachtwolfYT has started with "speedruns". At the beginning just copied the Bad harvest run from Youtube with the knowledge of the Aura + Fallen skyelf + Ravenhart. He answered some questions from the community and viewers on his Twitch channel. I myself am an active twitch viewer and have followed this and pointed out to him several times that some answers were completely wrong. This happened only because he simply copied that and did not understand why and why that happens so. In the meantime he learned a lot and now understands better why action X has an effect on reacton Y and got better with his own playstyle and could also improve his own speedrun time (at Bad harvest to under 3 minutes).
To achieve this, he has played many evenings for several hours only Bad harvest (a reason for this were certainly the 4k gold that is given after each completed run).
All the time he needed to understand the map slowly little by little.
Now there are 25 other maps that you have to understand, and be sure, Bad harvest is one of the easier speedrun maps.

If you are satisfied @Rankerz our speedrun group has already talked together to show effective fast tactics for maps on our youtubechannel (Skylords Reborn Speedrun Community) In these replays we will also add explanations why to do this and what effects it can have.

I ask everyone else to understand our philosophy that we will NOT share the fastest tactics because of all the work we put into every single detail.

Afaik it is not his decision to make. He is just a regular player like us, only the devs can decide if they support the challenge with additional benefits

Regardless, thank you @Toggy for making the challenge once again !

I will give it a try for sure

yea thats why i asket toggy in discord same time for this, that he can writh, if he want (its up to him to ask for this benefits from the deffs), if he want to.

I mean I only had like one deck, but sure

some players (like lebovim and myself) had some issues with the 100 limit of decks. Each map, each position sometimes 2-3 diffrend tactics, also vor Rpve 4-5 decks (moste of them for fun) maby 1-2 random decks for casual map playing like a pure shadow deck)  if u count trough every map each possitions, 100 is way less than actually needet if u want to go like this.

I totaly agree that some players just play with 2-3 decks (Rpve, campain)

  5. just one point for p1/2 in GOL, they can also go t2 and t3 "easy" they just need some enemy units stay alive between the orb and the cobold engenier. Even if its have to speedet up more, p1/2 can easy catch the regular t3 orb in the tactic used many many times in the Worldbreakergun Speedrun (swift unit run to orb/wells, take, kill own unit fast - most people know this)

I also think there is no map who is not beatable with a rly cheap deck. its maby just need more time to finisch the map.

50 minutes for one map? :o But I got told already, that it is a hard map with just 3 or 4 player ^_^

3-Player, 6-Player, 9-Player and 12-Player ingame option seems fine for me, since not many Player seem to be able to play that map on Expert (till now 6 won matches in Ascension and 18 won in Passage to Darkness according to the ranking). For forum I was thinking to add a spoiler for the 12 player maps, because 8-Player is easier than 6-Player, but still harder than 9-Player. Feel free to leave your feedback

Seems quied OK for me, but i think for PTD it not rly needet to add anything eles 3/6/9 okayers, cause of the similar map of all 3 maps. only the map 1 is little diffrend. still im am Fine if u want to add all of the player counts.

50min "speedrun" is quit fun i know, but we all know that ascension isnt that easy to solve if u are solo on a map. but stimm i am quiet shure we will improof this time a lot. Was our first Run =)
