  1. Try to keep those modifications realizable, remember that developpers don't have acces to lots of coding, we need to find a simple way to smooth things.

To be clear i'm mostly a PvE/Speedrunner player, and also an old PvP player+.

For speedrunning you need lots of cards (much more than PvP) because you need 1 deck/map. And you also need charges too. For PvP you can play different colors but people often prefer to stick to 1 or 2 gameplay. Moreover a 120 level deck is not needed you can be perfectly fine in PvP with a level 100 deck.

Some numbers i'm actually using :

    PvE :

        134 cards (38 Rares, 11 Ultra Rares)

    PvP (13 decks, all colors/combos) :

94 cards (31 Rares , 8 Ultra Rares) 11 Rares 3 Ultra Rares in common with PvE

1 PvP deck is max 9 Rares, 2 Ultra Rares

The problem is which is the perfect time to have 1 full deck for beginner PvE or PvP, let say for example 2 weeks (you'll still need more than 1 year to have all cards).

I'm playing since 6-7 months and i have all my PvE decks, and almost all PvP too, i'm not using the Market at all => just to buy the cards i need when i want it, at the price they are when i'm looking at them.

But in order to do that, I'm like everyone else connecting 5 times/week just to do quest and win my booster. 40min/day and i'm just leaving the game...

For the price of booster/quests reward the main problem is that whatever the price, the market will always rearrange itself. if a booster is at 500 BFp, good rare card will be at ~500 BFp and good UR => 1500 BFp. The more the time pass the more people will have BFp the more good card will rise up. UR like infect/Wheel are at 2500+ BFp now.

If Booster will be at 15000 BFp => good rare cards will be at 15000 BFp. Problem will stay the same.

An easy trick to prevent that is to make a maximum price for a card by rarity. Keep ratio like it is today with reward, but try to do something like :

    image.png.6ddc507a65395338fa0c37484804d2e2.png

Most of the good card will be at max value for sure, but it will be at least reachable. And average price will be less.

If i take my beginner PvP players example : 2 UR, 9 R at those price < 1 month

Thing that can be better, in order to decrease the time : Just do more quests (something like achievement) => i'll play more for sure :

Keep the daily Booster quest, but make those 3 one repeatable : 4 PvP game/ 2 rPvE game/ 3 PvE game. People will play what they want.

And for PvP players like RadicalX said just make more reward in Gold for upgrade, that will totally do the job if you don't like PvE/rPvE.

  3. Why don't you reset all the cards, gold, exp, market in the database for the release, and keep the remains Tables ?

Or if there are too many Tables just insert data of the Users Table in the new database.

Account and mail will be preserve this way, and even if you have got thousands of non used account, it's only 1 row in the database, their cards and all informations linked to that account will be erased.

  4. Yeah sorry actually they are all my own decks.

Best time are not made with them, that's why there is my Own time + the Best Time for information ^^.

I don't know the decks they were using, but i'm improving my own when i find or learn an upgrade.

Moreover i don't run every map at the moment, and i'm still learning and training on all of them.

And i don't update every day those deck (pretty long to do), some were made only with memory -> Insane God.

    Dashbard Update :

     - New Tab : Ranking PvE, with time + link of map replays

     - Updated More PvE Deck (5 left)

     - Added 2 Flags (PVE and PVP) in All Cards Tab in order to see the top cards play in my PvE or PvP Decks

  5. I agree with RadicalX and Treim on their analysis of the actual meta and the card, but i don't think it's that bad.

There is lots of map where Amii Monument is just like winning 20s to 5min. (Example : Convoy without Amii Monument we still can finish the map in 7:10 vs 6:50 with ?)...

Of course you'll need more skill to play maps without it, and like you all want to say : "The way they were designed to be played..."

Actually i remembered the beginning of BattleForge when you had only the 200 first cards, with just 2 upgrades/cards, and when you had to farm every specific map to win them. Expert Mode was SO INSANE, everyone were new players and map were so hard with old deck !

I don't really miss those day... Playing 1h30 to fail on a map was painful !
Grinding for upgrade 20 times/day on a 12 players maps when other side were failing T_T or when you don't have upgrade at the end...

For me "Upgrade level 3" brokes PvE long time ago : Nowadays Windweavers + Shaman can nearly finish every maps alone.

And today we have plenty of cards to break record : Nether Warp, BH, Bata... Nerf Amii Monument and then what ? Speedrunners will just be 20s-5min slower ?

But for new people you just forced them to learn the old way. I don't miss those day were i was obliged to run slowly. After playing 100 times on each map i'm happy to be able to cut the 4th orb sometimes. Less fail, less farm, no need to play hours and hours (i'm not in school anymore).

Moreover there will be a reset, more farm again and again.

You want to nerf cards ? Then Go release the Vanilla game ! Then wait 6 months between each extensions. That way maybe you will love to have Amii Monument.

For me it's a Gift for all those years of playing without it.

  6. I forgot to give the link but i already posted some deck (both PvP, rPvE, and Speedrun) in the PvP section.

I'm not OK to be able to see speedrunners' decks ingame, but lots of people don't care of sharing (that was my case actually). :)

And when there will be a reset i want to have a backup of my decks.

I cant agree in this point. Most of our tactis were developed by ourself - we did not create just simple copies of existing tactics. We developed tactics on a higher Level - we invested a lot of time and trained for this a lot. If you share all the tactics to the community everybody will simple copy it . I think for speedrunning you should start to understand the mechanics of every single map by yourself. In this way you may can create better tactics and you will also be able to compete against the existing speedrunning teams.

If you know a good strategy for a pve map you can repeat it again and again until it is nearly perfect. As a consequence of this the situation is much different compared to PVP. In PVP every match can be different - so in my opinion it is no problem to share tactics here . Depending from the single situation in PVP you can decide which tactic or card combo you may like to use in the match.

Also showing the deck can be critical for the Top 3 rankings. Just one different card can make the difference here. It is not always possible to hide a strategy by adding stupid cards in it - for some speedrun decks i am using every single card because it is mandatory. If you understand the mechanics of a speedrun and the map an experienced player can read the strategy the other team may used just by checking just the deck. I can say this from my own experience - lot of tactics were copied from me and my team mates in this simple way. You also can recognize this right now - if we would show our new decks for guns of lyr speedrun everybody would get a good idea how we are able to finish this map so fast. Motivated players should better reflect for themself how this map may can be done faster and they should invest the same time to train possible tactics.

    I' can't agree more with Pritstift !

And Moreover, as a speedrunner too, now that i saw their new record, i can't wait for training again in Guns of Lyr trying to understand how they made it. Even if i don't have yet a team of 4, i still can train on my side with a friend and search for new strategies now that i know it's possible to be that fast. Just knowing their time is a Hudge difference ! i can look closer at new timing on replays, at wave spawning, at the energy you can and can't have at that moment... My best time is 7:30 on this map :P, i'll have a headache to think differently.

Then just try to figure out how they made it ! If they show me their deck right now it will be unpleasant... i'll be sad, and miss the opportunity to guess by myself.

But as soon as i'll have a good clue and if they told me i'm correct, i'll ask top teams to train with them.

@Urmeli/Navarr : You just have to guess their deck first, and make yourself known in maps you can train.

  8. I do The Dwarven Riddle with a friend, same between 9k-13k Gold/run and 6k5 exp, but with an average time of 11:00.

I think it's faster than making Gun of Lyr, and it's far more easy to finish even with mistake.

    When i solo Dwarven, average time is 16:00 -> 13k exp but ~6k gold/run...
