  1. I'd prefer she got a damage buff into a viable medium counter. She's already a game winning card for the more difficult t1 expert maps as imperials are simply indestructible gods with a frost sorceress. I would also like to see her shield price cut but if I have to choose having her deal actual damage would be preferable.
  2. It's time to give up pointless collection pvp and stop trying to pressure the devs to force people to play a terrible mode no one plays for a reason. There just isn't a place for it and it's not worth development time as proven by it's failed addition.
  3. Apparently playing a lot of King of Giants for me. I just end up playing my favorite maps a lot as rPve is boring. Also pvp which is a lot of fun.
  4. Hopefully this will help reduce the fail rate of ascension. So many people go in with decks that a literally useless for it. Also I would like to note that a pair of imperials and frost sorceress' is all you really need to take t2. Usually I get the place secure and the powerwells up by around 4 minutes though I'm working to continue to improve that time. adding master archers in as power comes in can help speed stuff up and having some defense towers up makes life easy. One thing you don't go into either is how amazing mark of the keeper is on this map for shutting down the flyers and windweavers always harassing everything by the t2. Stone Hurler for that M knock back is also amazing for the map for dealing with maulers in particular but also flyers. OH and a healing well with 2-3 defenders + lightblade at each choke point handles pretty much everything coming indefinitetly, especially on position 8 where those 2 choke points handle 4 lanes. Really racks up avenger kills for the benefits those provide. If anyone's ever having trouble holding the line I highly recommend giving that a try to make life a lot simpler when everything handles itself with no repairs or action necessary. One thing important to note is to make sure to get early avenger kills if you can. Getting that first big punch of power from hitting the first kill goal makes the map a lot simpler. Pays for your t2 and all it's defenses letting you get down to business right away.
  5. Gotta be Viridya. Loved her in the campaign, love her voicelines for her card and she's just so bloody good! Especially given I main pure frost ha! I swear I wish she had a Lyrish blue outfit skin of some sort because no card synergizes better with Frost than her. Honestly being able to have the winter aspect version of her from Ascension as a promo card would be great lol.

If it's a general purpose pve deck I'd stick with just the t2 and 3 towers, drop shards and earthkeeper for a tempest, a much better anti M solution and it's very strong spammed with 1-2 aggresor. Grinder I'd only call alright, prone to getting instantly killed. Honestly just don't take them vs bandits and they are fine but bandits just hardcounter the poor buggers with all the burst damage. Definitely don't make him a priority. Also werebeasts for t1 will walk over almost every expert map except nightmare shard. Truly godly units at t1, especially backed up by a blue dryad. Usually run a 3-4 cards t1 as nature depending on if mark of the keeper will be useful. Viridya is very strong for stonekin at every tier though optional. Run both gemeyes for t4 and you should be fine. Can throw a grimvine if you feel like it for t4 heavy maps. Gemeyes range tends to let them annihilate everything pretty easily. Biggest note!!!!!! Coldsnap or oink!!!!!
  7. An update any knockback during transformation will also permanently lock you out of the unit for the rest of the match. Explains why it happened to me on passage to darkness with all those wizard towers.
  8. Not everyone is so fine with losing because their units have lower stats than their opponents. Old battleforge days the ranked ladder was just a list of who had 120 decks for the most part. I may have managed to claw my way to top 50 with subpar upgrades but it's an experience we should definitely do without. Every few upgrades I got to climb more ranks. Some ranked ladder. Getting trapped against the uphill climb of unit stats has absolutely zero place in ranked. I doubt it will affect longevity either, StarCraft has done just fine as rts pvp without needing to give newbs penalties like their Marines doing 20% less damage for being a new player to keep the dirty peasents at the bottom of the ladder like they deserve. To hell with that nonsense. I do agree pvp could do with higher gold rewards though. I do thank you for essentially making our point for us in your post though. Forced losses are exactly why the system is what it is instead of the old terrible system.
  9. Essentially if the shield timer resets to reapply his shield it cancels his extremely long attack animation. When I was watching the that prerelease tournament it actually happened during it and pretty sure it may have actually saved a well.
  10. When I transformed a twilight Slaver Red into a twilight Nightshade Purple my abomination charges dropped to 0 permanently for my blue twilight Abomination. I could click it and the summon circle icon for the abomination would pop up like I had a charge ready but clicking to summon just did nothing. Was on Passage to darkness advanced. Can't seem to reproduce it when i tried on encounters with twilight though. Don't have time to do another passage so not sure if it's map specific.
  11. Pretty sure the everything daily, the quests, daily boost, and booster discount were all effected by the bug. I did end up with 5 quests the next day which is interesting given it probably should have been 4. I also got credited the bp amount in my daily boost as if I had gotten one but just never used it as I had 350 the next day.
  12. Please yes to having the loot table in game. Would make choosing what mission to do a lot easier. Meh on the rotation though.
  13. I'm curious who this "many" are that want to get wrecked by people worse than them who have grinded more than them solely because the other person has more grind. Collection mode for pvp is imo a complete waste of time as pvp is pointless on uneven footing. There is no issue here to be resolved. If anything simply make all cards act as upgrade 3 and 3 charged in pvp period. Now that would be good. Finally get rid of this divide entirely and then free pvp decks wouldn't even be needed then.

  15. Can really feel you there. Matches against opponents with different deck levels is almost pointless. I had to work a lot harder than any of my opponents ever had to when climbing with a low deck level. Spam grinding pve just to be able to play pvp was always a poor decision and I hope they don't ever take this suggestion of removing the free decks from ranked seriously. Most people who want that just want to get wins they don't deserve from being more grinded than their opponents even if they won't admit it. Pvp needs to be on the most even ground possible for anyone to actually play it and that means putting people on an even footing.
  16. If you want actual people to play pvp against there needs to be free pvp decks. Deck level has always been the largest barrier to pvp. Was always my biggest gripe in battleforge.
  17. I'll be honest frost usually doesn't have enough shields up for it to ever be worth it. Honestly a shield synergy card seems an odd choice to have made anyway. While you technically can build a whole deck around it that's a very micro intensive deck that will be burning power pretty quick and I doubt it would be good enough to be worth all the power expenditure. That's a lot of effort to trying and shoehorn a card into working. Especially when just tossing viridya in at t2 has way better synergy with frost in general and is deck flexible. As for avatar usually coldnsnap is all you really need to keep him alive in areas he's relevant in. Freezing and micro probably saves him more shield than ice age ever could. Given a single Avatar of frost is usually a walking god, let alone two of them splitting pve damage it doesn't seem worth it to waste a slot making the t3 god win even harder than he already does. It won't make him win the matchups he'd already lose and avatars main advantage is what he can do without support.
  18. Ya it's not properly told to players but the crystals only explode on the left side of the map despite the king spawning on the right. Our group figured it out when I noticed every time it hit 4 a huge explosion went off on the other side but not ours.

  20. I wouldn't say pure frost ever rely on her. I mean area ice shield exists. She's still at her absolute best in a frost deck and honestly someone else using viridya has only ever happened to me once and by t4 they stopped using her so I just summoned her to heal my t4 units.
  21. Lost Shades are so rediculiously strong they broke both pve and pvp on release. They may have been nerfed but are still damn bloody good. I'm actually a pure frost player so can't be too much help with the lost souls specific cards though as I haven't seen much of the rest.

  23. Now this is a hell of a guide, gonna be reading through it for quite some time. Though a bit sad pure frost is relegated to eagle spam in it. Might have to get back into pvp to remind people how strong a pure fire style artillery approach to pure frost with white rangers can be. Slower to the kill but extraordinarily annoying to properly dislodge and can really irritate people into making mistakes.
  24. For t2 anti air that is pretty easy. Stormsinger is both a ranged M damage dealer but also has a built in gravity surge to pull air units down to your level. Just using Gravity surge is also an option. And yes, You have a wide variety of towers to use, the lost 2 orb tower is pretty good, cannon towers, stronghold, worldbreaker guns, the usual shadow stuff like necroblasters. Got the two factions with the best towers in the game and frosts building support and skyelves so you should have essentially the ultimate defence.
  25. One thing I'd recommend in any pure frost deck is Viridya. She's a godsend with her percentage health healing with frosts many damage reductions and high health pools. Stand her behind some defenders and let all comers try their luck. Even stays useful at t4 as she's a walking regrowth passive. Always get a ton of use with her. White Rangers are also obscenely good, broken in fact in pve. Their ability ignores unit targeting and line of sight rules so you can bombard pretty much anything from safety. Very cheesy but you can't argue with the results.
