I have some feedback on releasing the challenges in batches So the idea behind this is probably to make the playerbase focus on the same task within a month of time frame However my experience is kinda not this. Joined the last week of June, it was almost more torture to find a group for the challenge than to finish the map, since everyone was 'already over' with said challenges by the end of the month Upon releasing the new batch in july, most of the players try to finish it asap because of the hype and also not want to fall behind as said above, and just waiting for the new batch yet again The only thing left to do 80% of the month is the daily FOMO quest and spamming RPVE About RPVE repeatable challenge -> it is absurdly long, 720 points, when the average player hits RPVE 6 most of the time (2 points) means you have to perform 360(!) rounds of rpve. Sure you do not have to do this, but there are huge points allocated there to miss out on On other challenges you wanted to limit to playtime on each map max 2 times to be more variable, but we okay with doing 3 RPVE 6 per day for 120 days straight without missing a day?! Daily FOMO quest could also use some reserve type of mechanic, or a hint of the next day challenge if there are constant points tied to this in the long run And the last thing with the batches mechanic, it is impossible to tell if someone will able to do the unknown challenges of August for example, and if I grind hard this month just to get minimal points next month is kinda demotivating too, regards in getting Promo Sunderer (Sure you can buy later, but still) If the state of mind of season was to give every skill typed player a fair shot, than the batches system is a limiting factor for a huge crowd of hyped/skilled playerbase imo Also limits someone who cannot log in daily to the daily map If you do not plan to release the whole challenges in one go, at least there should be a way to unlock it in advance let's say if the previous batch is fully maxed out or something Or even just give a hint like what map or decktype will be needed for the future bacthes to keep theorycrafting a thing at least to maintain the hype

I have just finished the map of Behind Enemy Lines with no buildings, fire only deck, and got no progress at all on Challenge 3.2 I double checked my deck, it has no building cards to begin with, so unsure if i'm the only one affected by this or a global bug appeared Replay attached Behind Enemy no building.pmv
  3. I am wondering if this means you have to almost max out the points on every other challenges to get the promo Sunderer? I made some calculations based on whats currently known, and seems like if a player is only able to do all missions on advanced difficulty it would not net 850 points, rather 700 point ish Can any dev confirm? Do we need to do most of the challenges maxed out and almost all maps on expert to get the promo Sunderer? It is valuable information to know before someone invest 4 months into something to never be able to reach it (For example 720! round of RPVE does not seems to sound fun to me, even in 4 months)

I've came back a couple of times to this game with always hyped up and kinda was wondering why I abandon this game after a while I could play this game 0-24 no kidding, but the thing which does not allow me to do is the lack of playerbase which affects matchmarking For example sometimes I open the lobby for a 2p or 4p map and get nobody to play with for 20 minutes and give up Yes you can solo anything with skill, but thats not what I'm after, especially in a multiplayer game So let's say there would be a middle ground between soloing the map and making a full team of players, and you could add an AI driven or bot teammate to fill a spot It could do simple actions like defend only, or even be neutral to player. I know this is an older game, and technology was not really advanced back then but this is might be possible right now You can also set rules, like only 1 AI/bot per map or only on advanced difficulty whatever if this is pushing the boundaries of player agency Let me know your opinions 🙂

I have made a similar topic about Shadow Phoenix a couple years ago, and the conclusion was it is complicated to do and the devs rather focusing on buffing cards Since it is fire season, I do not think many people even notice the existence of this card apart from high difficulty RVPE teams If there will be a shadow themed season, this topic would get more attention imo Apart from nerfing the card the ground or total rework, a possible solution would be to make it a pure shadow card or bump the tier up T3. This would allow more room for splash decks and other T2 options to breathe without touching the initial mechanism Also, if this is the only way to beat certain maps, than the issue is with the map not with the card imo

Hi all, Just trying to catch up after more than a year being away, and I see a lot of changes have happened regarding PvE-dominating cards The biggest ones I have noticed: Nightguard mindcontrol rework Breeding Grounds cost increase Shrine of war orb change Batariel damage buff nerf Also changes regarding various Expert maps starting power and stuff like Convoy Walker timer I was excited to see how this impacted the meta, and seems like one clear outliner is still dominating most of the maps: Shadow Phoenix The AoE nuke damage while being unbound power is not something any T2 card or combo is even close in my eyes, regardless how many buffs other cards have received Is there any plan to change this card in the future or is it fine and I'm being too narrow thinking here? (I was searching for a topic on this forum about Phoenix but not much discussion I have found)
  7. I always keep on eye on the Community updates, even when I'm not playing actively. Feels like such a nice way to let the people know what is going on behind the stages. Keep up the good work guys !

  9. Even in the old days, matchmarking on Ascension map2 was a nightmare. I played hundreds of runs, since that map is my all time favourite. I could play it all day literally non stop But I do not remember any other map where you have to be so strict and rigid to check the decks on map2. You have to have taunt/ cc or basicly 11 people will fail eventually in 99% of time. (It is even more depressing with lower playerbase in current days) Since opening up game space on map1 is already suggested, I wonder if we can open the deckstyle for map2 as well a bit - The straight up way it to make more spells able to interact with Viridya, But this would still limit non-cc having classes - Out of the box idea of making it possible to stop Viridya via other methods , like when she took X amount of damage in X amount of time This would open up chance to be played for pure fire for example - Changing the behaviour of Viridya, making her slower, predictable etc I personally do not like this approach since the map is already not that hard, only too restrictive in deck bringing imo I do not want it to be an other PTD where people can literally bring random decks and still win, but some non-frost/cc fresh air would be nice Overall great changes, love how we evolved from barely able to run the client to make our own map change choices together !
  10. Would love to have the option to choose between the altered PVE maps and the original ones. Some people are back to this game due the nostalgia it brings, and they like the original maps even when they are not perfect 🙂
  11. Hey guys Did not play in the last month or two, can anyone tell me how is the game doing currently ? Is the playerbase still decent enough or decreased much ? How is the auction and market looking ? I see no patch notes so I assume no real content has released since January but correct me if anything is on the radar worth noting Thank you in advance!

Timing of teching is part of the PvP strategy imo From your words, you have more problems with the balance of T2 matchups, not the actual time of being to play it Also if your deck has advantageon T2, I dont think you can blame people for using it especially in ranked enviroment I love T1 fights as well, but most people don't maybe due the lack of experience, skill or the fact that T1 balance can be also 1 sided in certain matchups Some maps or classes does not allow to make an effective punish for the T2 rushes is also a different story

I think this mode was implemented because people demanded a way to not be forced to face the free pvp decks The devs made it into the game really fast, yet people are still unhappy about it I mean, let's wait a longer period until you totally cancel a game mode Most of the people are still on the hard road of getting a decent collection Giving out small rewards can be ok, but I think this mode is only an extra The devs are really trying everything in their power to make the normal pvp popular and balanced first

I mean most of the time it is only a short burst of price increase, if you wait a couple of hours or a day the prices go almost back to the same range as they were You can see they are trying to manipulate even the crappiest card which cost 3 BFP and next day it is sold by 1 -2 players for 400 BFP each, but they fail miserable due the low demand We have the technology now to even check back price history with tools like SMJ it was non exsistent back in the days, so overall I think price manipulation is barely a working and with a bit of patience and research you cannot be fooled at all As a short note, there are also normal sellers via chat and discord where you can find reasonable traders as well if the marketplace is going the silly way with your card

  18. Curious what you guys consider your personal end game in BF, for example : Battlegrounds ? Big collection ? High PVE/ PVP rank ? Expert PVE maps ?

So usually there are 2 SoW built which lets you permanently activate the ability as like a passive bonus The only thing is, you have to click on it every 30 seconds even in the middle of the fight It is even more harder to notice when for example Wheel of Gifts are active, and the global icon is not showing I think this method is really outdated and would not change much about the card usage Let me know your thoughts on this

  21. I'm not sure how much data gathered during the discounted period, but would it be really bad for the economy to keep the discount permament ? A 1 month period is like a new norm,not a small bonus and many people got used to it and currently feeling "robbed" when it is gone I do not intend to cry about it, have most of the cards already just curious

I'm mostly doing expert maps by now Whenever there is an open game it shows for example (1) or (2) on the map, but I have to go to the actual channel to see they are both Standard open games and leaving with sad face to an other channel (Sometimes it even becomes slow to responde to joining / leaving) So the suggestion is to make it visible what difficutly the lobbies are without the need to join the given channel It can be extent like showing Standard, Advanced, Expert or simple like changing color according to highest level open game Red , green , blue etc I know it is only a QoL improvement but let me know your thoughts

Apart from 2 major DC days (which will be compensated by promise), I did not encounter any further DC yet playing almost all day every day Its a bit over the top to say the game is unplayable Also the Devs seem to do everything in there power asap even on a weekend day to make the servers stable, so can we really complain here ?
  24. Often there are important things to communicate regarding the strategy. If someone refuses to participate in a common language even if they are aware that the other person does not understand german, russian, etc than it is a big drawback to go in game It causes frustration which some people simply prevent by not playing with a person like this Not only that, but you can say whatever you want about me in a langugage I wont understand, so I cannot tell for sure you are not flaming etc while I try my best to get in contact with you This is not an issue for someone who knows multiple languages to just switch, but can be even more frustrating for some younger player knowing only 1 language

    Made some self challenge to clear the 2nd base with pure decks from every starting position (!) A lil trick which can help -> Sometimes we delay picking up the 2nd orb to have more time until the mini wave reaches our base Pure Fire: Bottom right is the easiest to clear with fire thanks to skyfire drakes, same as with Shadow Phoenix/ Mana wing so this replay is not added Pure Frost: Same as above, just with war eagles, so not added Pure Nature: Bottom left is already covered how to clear many times on this forum by Krumpli or the Speedrun Youtube so it is not added Pure shadow: Since Forsaken + Shadow Phoenixes is the most common strategy it is very much works the same so I do not made replicate replays Please note these replays can be improved, mostly played with randoms so the outcome was never guaranteed The purpose of these replays is to show the possibility of many ways to clear the 2nd bases (hardest part) , whatever deck you like to play Hope it helps Frost t1 bottom left .pmv pure fire bottom left.pmv Pure fire top left 2nd.pmv Pure fire top right.pmv Pure frost top left 2nd.pmv Pure frost top right 2nd.pmv Pure Nature bottom right.pmv Pure Nature top left.pmv Pure Nature top right.pmv
