  3. So after few moths of stress test, did you found a way to "Save Our Community" as topic title suggest?
  4. Server is dedicated machine in France data center with not too old Intel CPUs. It is "only" bit worse than my desktop (no GPU of course) "~3000 ppl at the same time" where you get that number we have best peak under 900 concurrent players. And after many performance fixes we are not limited by server HW. "auto-scaling" never seen anything like this work. Only people claiming it scale "auto-magically" but each of these cases was something that could be handled independently and the "auto-scaling" was just starting new server and load-balancer getting it as next option.
  5. only the "HD textures" are available, because the game do not support choosing this in game, and if low res textures are downloaded the higher resolution ones are ignored it would add much complexity do updater to download two different games (almost), because for some stupid reason they differ by logic, not only the textures. So we would need to support two different versions. It run fine on GPU with 256 MB VRAM (RADEON X1650 PRO) on min details of course So we will support only the version with higher resolution textures.

  7. Right now we peaking to 400 concurrent players each day. Highest peaks was about month after the stress test start when we was reaching 800 concurrent players.
  8. this is not ping command latency is ping from client to server rounded up to next 100 ms + ping from server to client rounded up to next 100 ms so 200 ms is about the best you can have (with our implementation it can shortly drop to 100 ms). Network latency should be without the second round up, but as you can see it is higher than command latency, so it is incorrect.
  9. I can say it that way, that we do not play to shut down, so you do not need to worry about it, and as long as there will be people interested we will probably be able to keep it running.

  12. I do not know what you have problem with I have 4k screen and 40" screen and even full screen with 4k it look fine.
  13. @nofearek9 I think you mixing latency an ping even with pig under 3 ms you get command latency 200 ms. There are plans to run multiple game servers later, so forge will be one, but match will be able to run on server closer to you. We have confirmed that even with artificially increased ping over 1000 ms the forge run almost fine.
  14. We do not have source code for the game. So even if I would want to, I just can not give them to you Game source codes would make fixing some bugs much much easier.
  15. I already did all changes to Launcher that was needed to build also for 32 bit, now Aviator working on downloading the correct launcher version for your system in the updater, so (probably) soon.

If no one will play we will not find bugs, if we not find bugs we can not fix them, if we can not fix them we will not go to next stage I am not sure about exact description of "QA tester" so I can not say for sure. But the company I work for have "weird" philosophy that software needs to have bugs for users to discover so they can fix them, without bugs they lose money for fixing them. I disagree with this but I can not change the decision of my boss
  19. For true (not guess, nor whenever you want) estimation you need metric and data, I provided you with multiple metrics and responses based on the data I have. Right now from my point of view factor that slow us down most is "most of players do not report them, even if they get 3 big messages on screen asking them to report a bug.". When we was in closed beta we have maybe third of testers reporting bugs, but we have problems to get 10 players online to test things related to server load, and many things break with increased server load
  20. When we was in closed beta people complain that only few can "play". I say "play" not play because as many of you seen when we start Open Stress Test. If you check discord you will see that many players have problems with disconnects, so they still can not play. Server still crashing from time to time. And maybe you forgot, but we do all of this in our spare time. So based on what we should do an estimations? Based on percentage of players reporting bugs? That would be very bad, because most of them do not report them, even if they get 3 big messages on screen asking them to report a bug. And probably never? Based purely on statistic that first 90% of software work take about 10% of time? I am not sure from where this common statistic come, but if it is based on big companies (like the one I work for) then it would make sense. And based on that after 5 years we already reached that 90% line probably, but the activity was highly varying. Based on the fact that there are still problems we have no idea what cause them? Then never? Based on my pessimistic approach to estimations? NEVER! Based on optimistic approach? I have no idea But if you ask my boss (in real life job) if something will be done next month, he promise it. But if you ask if it can be done already next week, he will say of course. If you ask him if it can be presented next day, because customer want to see it, he will promise that too, no mater how complicated the request is. But I am not optimistic person So what exactly you want us to say?
  21. There is one problem. PvP players do not get upgrades for matches, so they want to buy them with gold.
  22. I can list few more from other topics, so it is public info that they fighting each other. I will not tell you their strategies (because I do not know them) but you are incorrect I even think these two teams have different strategies.
  23. Did you see the Guns of Lyr, we have multiple world record this year by significant margin of about 30% faster. And I think they change more than few cards
