T1 Fire vs T1 Nature

Mortar definetly helps and should turn the matchup in your favour. I would recommend wrecker because it's a cool card and you never really get to see it in ranked but it's worthless against treespirits. @RadicalX can probably tell you the most about the strategic approach cause he knows the ins and outs of both T1s.

Some basic tips when playing against Nature

-> Early engagements do favour Fire, while Nature has the stronger late T1 scaling

-> Try engaging from multiple angles to dodge effective CC placements

-> When using Eruption, make sure to always finish off at least 1 unit with it, otherwise Surge of Light may end up being way to effective. 

-> Firesworn is strong when S units get used, but loses against massive amounts of Dryad

-> While Nature is strong at beating T1 units later into the game, it is very weak against T2 units, so make sure to get a good timing to tech up

Make 2 scavengers guarded by 1 or 2 sunstriders each and fight with these 2 squads on 2 different locations. Nature units are too expensive to keep up with the pressure in early game so if you place the erus well to finish quickly and take map control, you should come out ahead

Fire T1 has no chance against Nature T1,..... we must spread this so the fire T1 Players auto resign when they see the first set of swift claws ;ppp

 

 

 

 

 

 

actually Fire T1 does nicely against Nature T1

Against tree spirit spam write "thanks gg" in chat and always push the 1 more well so your enemy is forced to attack if he doesnt wanna lose on power. Then use the well to tank the tree damage and place units behind it. Firesworn is pretty good when you don't have enough space for splitting the sunstriders. On spots like the Lajesh corners where you can't place units behind your well, you obviously have to be careful with this tactic.
