    Buff Tempest ?

I had quickly cobbled together a rough Tempest deck yesterday, just before I stumbled across the thread here. The only boss I haven't knocked out of his shoes yet in rPvE9 would be Hellhound. Even the Twilight Infester, which is sometimes very nasty to beat with L units, didn't have much to say against Tempest+Motivate. It would certainly be interesting to try a double frost approach instead of a double shadow, but I'm currently lacking substance in my collection. (This morning headless partly translated with DeepL, because still before the first coffee)

    Buff Tempest ?

I think you can already make valid fun decks around it, but a slight buff would imo be considerable. What annoys me most, is that it would need more initial charges to rock. But we have other t4 where it is harder to build a deck around, that can do BG9 reliable

    loot

He mixes gold and bfp. He thinks those achievements give bfp rewards
  4. He usually randomizes the brackets before start
  5. The free booster is indeed tempting. Bad thing is that I don't have a clue of PvP... hope that I can resist ?
  6. Be sure, some of the long term beta players lost way more. Some of us had the complete collection and all U3. But I can only heavily encourage you to give the new start a try. Starting with only some basic cards and without upgrades was, at least for me, again a big fun. Alot boosters can be accessed through achievements quite fast and in addition there is a temporarly booster discount of 100 bfb. If you already have a clue where you want to go deck-wise, a decent deck can be buildt in no time. Give it a try ?
  7. Both ideas of Windhunter and Eirias have my support! ♡
  8. Think of all that bullshit that could be done. Thank god our devs have a good hand at balancing and will never do. Only the wish for wheel stacking (again) that some people share sometimes, is more absurd.
  9. Thanks, yeah, when I provided my replay I was quite sure to be third Then you came But when I see the huge difference between the top3 runs and mine, I am glad to be fourth anyways. I used more or less the same approaches that I have seen in the 4 above linked replays. I think the biggest difference to the 10min times is that I need more spells and units due to lacking micromanagement Ah and I am the only one in the field of the first 5 ranks that used a green start. Volin_BeL_Contest_12min21sek.pmv Last thing: The first Disciple in the south should be encountered earlier - I was braindead in the end and made "new" mistakes all the time
  10. Nice runs - really impressive! Most creative attempt is imo the blind spot for flyers in the upper left used by Lebvim and Sylar - great idea guys!
  11. In my experience, the 4 factions have never been equally distributed. Most maps on 9 were bandits, the fewest LS. So you rolled a die with 4 "different sized" sides, just 30 times, and it fell 1-4 times less on the smallest side than in a normal distribution. Even if I see 50 rounds of ONLY Bandits in a row, I wouldn't worry about the random distribution because the sample is too small. I once sat in a poker tournament (Hold'em) where a friend started 3 times with 2 kings within 4 rounds. Think about what a statistical outlier this is.
  12. 2946... Hmmm, where was the point in this?
  13. No, I did it several times before - there is no expert difficulty. could prove with screens, but I don't think that is necessary
  14. Hey Folks, DESCRIPTION: Got a quest for expert Indroduction, which does not exist REPRODUCIBILITY: Guess always, not sure SCREENSHOT: LOG: guess a screen does it here, or? ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: standard does the job not, just tested
  15. I personally don't like the fact that each quest can only be re-rolled once. This has led to a PVP quest in my log, which I can't get rid of - but also can't and don't want to complete. I think it's ok that you can only re-roll one quest per day - that should probably be the case. But if you remove the limit that each quest can only be re-rolled once, this would probably lead to less "dead" quests in peoples logs
  16. With a look on the playerbase perhaps the ideal solution - I like the idea on the first view!
  17. This developes into a more and more interesting direction!
  18. And you did very well again! I just thought it might be a good idea to mention my (failure) fears in public, just to show others with similar feelings that they are not alone. I've been pretty high up in almost every BG10 ranking I've wanted to participate in over the last few months. What should some "casual" (not derogatory!) players think when they see the top times in your contests. I just wanted to encourage others that have the same first thoughts to participate.
  19. Jesus, and once again one of those maps I never understood before. Your challenges, Toggy, have grounded me really well again. I realize more and more that I know even less than John Snow if I can't copy any known tactics Actually, I should take the competition as an incentive, but unfortunately the first time I see it, it's already demotivating. But I will still give it a try if I find some time the next weeks. Thanks for your efforts anyway @Toggy!
  20. Had the same thoughts about the ignore function, agree
  21. Ok lets help. But I won't make 2937 posts here!
  22. Agree in all points. And I hope the moment is over now Aaaaand back to topic:
