you can pretty much defend every income to t1 with a mine and 2 sunstriders. Unless that income pulls the hole base. But thats so rare that its not really relevant. -

its good to have that on random maps when you dont really know what happens to have a bit more safety, however in speedruns nature just dont have the offensive power that fire has, thatfor fire > nature in speedruns . I agree though that it can help in normal rPVE matches -
I think you should go a bit more in depth about cards you chose and why. For example: Give people the reason why you hate that card. Also i would like to see some more cards. Nature has so many (good) cards and i think its a shame that you didnt mentioned them, even though some are expensive. At least mentioning them seems very necassery to me. You could just warn people that they are a bit more expensive and give ~ prices in the old Battleforge. However i think its good that you focused on cheaper cards and the root network. Probably an example deck at the end would be nice as well, just to give people something to 'work' with. Oh and if you want to add an offensive part that would be cool too. If you want to talk about rPVE as well another section seems very useful to me as well.

only thing i would like to get added are those red borders for the first 2 sections. You had those in the last sections and it made it really easy to find the exact right parts you were talking about. Other than that, i think its a nice little guide

I would like to add that the attack of any unit/ building has an own name and is listed in the card description. Ice bolt is the buildings only offensive ability and the normal attack of this building. The damage/20 seconds is an average as Ice of Bolt has 110-170 damage per shot depending on where the unit gets hit within the 5m radius of the attack.

fixed a little layout issue and a big mistake in the example batariel deck. wasnt able to show the correct picture in the deck anymore though( only the link), no clue why that is. Attachments still not working, updated dropbox file also. -
there was no PVE specatate mode. Only way of seeing those games live was playing the map with less players by someone not building any units, etc. So its not an spectate mode, but more like ööhm not even haing words for it I dont really think it matters to much as watching actual replays never was a real handicap in battleforge.

I think only winning or top 3 replays of PVE should be posted on youtube, the rest is basically irrelevant anyways.

it was suggested in this thread that we will be allowed to use the starter decks( shadow-frost, nature-fire) to get a bit more diversity.

EA still has the rights on Battleforge so we have to accept that we are not allowed to make money due to those copyrights. It doesnt matter if they shut the game down as long as they do have the rights on the game.

the maps are monthly not weekly. i think its much to early to talk about any tournament organization yet. alpha isnt even started.

would it be possible to show the total amounts of donations as well? im kinda lazy to sum every donation up by hand and its not getting less the more donations we get...

i added some small addition. its underlined and big in the quote as buildings also can get repaired with spells.

I would like to limit 1 of those forum codes per account though. I think that could get implemented into a possible achievement system aswell. I think 50 posts are even to much. I am not exactly sure how many people have 50 posts in this forum yet, but i think its not a high percentage. I think 20 or 25 are reasonable and enough to make people familiar with the forums. About the reward im not to sure. Probably thats really something Cyrian would fit in, instead of promoting LoU using him to promote the forums. I dont know how hard it was to get Cyrian as i never signed into LoU myself and didnt played the necassery quest to get him,so i cant really judge about that. -

i think linking the forums with the game will solve the problem that people just dont find those guys as they dont know about the forums. However its not really confirmed that it will happen, it only got suggested and possible features such a linkage could bring to the forums. Its been said that its technically possible, but obviously there might be security issues. So if thats not an option due to those issues at least at the release it might be enough to promote the forums more ingame. As far as i know there wasnt really any promotion for it. I think that would probably not solve the issue completely but is a good first step. How that promotion should look like exactly needs to be discussed however. The obvious solutions would be: mentioning it in hints of the day( probably even multiple hints)An ingame mail when entering the gameSome promotion in the starting/ news side when opening the game -

As community we cant do more than creating guides and tutorials. Obviously especially those that explain the basics of the game. Even though the game didnt even started we have already some guides here in the forums that have exactly that topic. For example Erias guide related to PVP deck building, including explanations for every card: http://forum.bfreborn.com/index.php?/topic/917-how-to-build-a-pvp-deck-guide/ However a lot of newer players arent active in the forums so whenever they have a question ingame someone should answer and give a hint to a thread/ guide in the forums that could give him more input regarding to his question. Just stay friendly to new players and provide with the knowledge to find the correct guides or answer easier questions by yourself. Probably play some games with them and teach them a little/ give tips.
