After the yesterday server restart i cant do it anymore. If i spawn the same legendary after Promise of life + nasty surprise, Promise of life is nullified and he wont spawn back, like i never used promise of life. You spawned double Jorne of the same type or normal Jorne  + Promo Jorne?
Nevermind! after today plittle patch ( 3 files download ) its working again, Maybe that was not intended, Thank you!

    Name: Shadow Shaman
    Faction: Shadow
    Tier: T2
    Orbs: Shadow and Any
    Attack: 740 dp20 Health: 890

    Abilities:
Blood Heal- Every 5 seconds, unit will heal an allied unit for 180 life points. Will damage itself for 90 life points. Shadow Shamans cannot be targeted by Blood Heal. Cannot be used, if the unit has less than 91 life points.
Fade Bolt - Every 4 seconds, blasts an enemy unit with dark energy, dealing 148 damage, up to 180 in 5m radius.
Cannibalize - Unit consumes nearby corpses to regenerate 20 life points per second.

General idea: I am porting my old idea from the Discord forum to here as well. I always see Pure Shadow as tricky to play, with some gaps that could make the faction much more friendly to newer/worse players. Especially with the idea of Shadow season down the line, I can imagine lot of people might struggle with early Shadow starts or Pure Shadow challenges. This unit is meant to somewhat help. I can see it even being a T1, with properly scaled numbers.
He can heal, but cannot heal himself/shamans cannot heal each other. They are reliant on the player fighting and killing enemies, thus collecting corpses. It also means you cannot use those corpses for some other strategies/units, so there is also this trade-of.

The entry collection has ended, I added both entries of Solumen and the additional entry of Obekidi, plus what I have recieved on Discord. Make sure:
Discord and Forum DM entries have recieved a confirmation ("Thanks ... has been entered.... etc.") Forum Post here: That your name appears in the list above I posted above. Because this was a question multiple times: I will not post a list of participants for the DMs, its ment to be confident and there is no way for me to keep that while posting a list of names.
There is a short grace period now where you can check if everything is in order and your entry has been recieved, then I submit the package to the jurors.

Thanks to everyone who entered, many have put loads of thoughts and work into their entries!

    Kapo.

Just wanted to say: The new patch is sick! For me personally at least it has been the most exciting patch since the big Christmas one a few years ago when the reforge was released. The new Unexpected Visitors map feels like the quality of other campaign maps, I tried to tackle it solo and every time I ran into a new mechanism it was challenging enough to make me alter my strategies and think of new ways to tackle problem yet not so challenging it was literally impossible. Now I am off to try the other new map. Cheers and kudos to the team!

Power cost and efficiency of the whole process changes 🙂
EDIT: + now the whole team can have Amii Monuments, not just 1 out of 4

My personal feeling is that cost does not block switching. Now you can have example two orb decks (like Amii shadow x2, nature x2) but have the Monument provide 3rd green orb and 3rd shadow orb for some combos (so many good cards require 3 of one color, now they all become accessible:
Bandit [2x fire + 2x shadow] with Comet Catchers and Heals? Grinders with Disenchant and Earthshaker? 1x nature decks with access to Enlightenment for Batariel and Infernal Chain? To provide one example and not to spoil the fun of discovering:
Combo I loved was Energy Cores + Second Chance SHADOW affinity, first time in my life, to have them explode - revive - explode again in another camp for 50% more dmg (while first camp revives and then dies again lol) - with some micro that is very powerful nuke. Also you can use Second Chance green to just unbind power from them (3x shadow).
Another thing is Energy Cores + Second Chance + Grove Spirit to heal the cores (3x nature). With good power recycling you can just wipe anything.
This is last message from me in this subject. 🙂 As Viridya Moon said "it is done".

Wasn't theory - I played and experienced several runs in old campaign, new campaign and rpve with new amii mon and 5 orbs and was a lot of fun - somehow eye opener for me of how many trillions of new combinations I have access to now. I was the biggest Amii Mon change skeptic and took a lot to convince me, letting me express frustration, but a lot of reasons and finally giving it a chance (and then trying myself) convinced me. 🙂

Yes, it requires to somehow surrender "mindless playing optimal decks over and over". At the same time - feels like a new game now and I love it.

Tip of the day from me as Vrizz, not GM: whichever opinion you have, it would be smart to first play the game after patch release for e.g. two weeks, experience changes and then decide instead of guessing in virtual theoretical world, no? 😎

If the reasoning we provided is itself somehow not sufficient, we have years worth of feedback to support every conclusion we presented. We have testimonies from players who said they quit because of Amii Monument and many others who asked us to nerf it specifically because they cannot stop themselves from using it despite not wanting to. We have the data to show it has an absurdly high playrate for a T3 card and that most other T3 cards have correspondingly low playrates. And it is not like any of this came out of nowhere, the problems with Amii Monument have been discussed for years. When the balance discord opened back in 2019, some players were begging the devs to remove Amii Monument from the game before the rerelease, or at least to lock it behind so massive a wall that the vast majority of the playerbase could not touch it. Clearly, for these players, "just don't play it" was not a sufficient response to what they knew the card did to their own ability to play and enjoy the game as they liked (it ought to be obvious that compulsion is not just the providence of drugs, but that many things in life have this almost involuntary-pull upon a person). After all, their calls for the card's removal were hardly related to its competitive nature.
As mentioned by Cocofang, when we presented these changes several months ago to players on our balance discord, we also wanted to change Enlightenment. The goal was to remove Tier skipping from the game entirely. But we did not just force it through. We presented the team's reasoning and the community responded. There was a solid majority of people who supported the Amii Monument change, with some mild trepidation that the new iteration might not be strong enough (and if it is not, we will buff it, but playtesting data looks good). On the other hand, while a majority of players were willing to trust us about Enlightenment, most did not actually want to see it changed. They could understand and support the Amii Monument changes, it was obviously a cheat card, but Enlightenment had many more restrictions on it and had been part of the game since its inception, to lose it now would seem to be losing something essential to Skylords Reborn. We listened to the players and have since promised not to change Enlightenment. This was the compromise. If that is not enough, we also pulled back on proposed changes to Architect's Call originally intended for this patch after we received mixed community feedback. These instances show that the feedback system is working.
Also, frankly, it is unreasonable, uncharitable, and insulting to think that we did not bother to talk to players, look at data, and carefully weigh all available options before making a change of this magnitude. You can disagree with our conclusion, but only a person who wants a reason to complain would ever read such malicious incompetence into our choice, and it says much more about them than it does about us or the changes presented.

Since today (20th August) is my 37th birthday, I am giving everyone with bronze and silver ranks who participates AFTER seeing this post and gets below 22 sec, 370 bfp (max 10 people). I really wish more people could enjoy the event Ultralord prepared and play around with strategies outside rpve and campaign.

You can mail me in game, here or Discord.
