  1. The Devs should just chill. Haters gonna hate, welcome to the internet. All those negative people are more annoying than any delay to the release.. In the end it's only a BETA, and there will be a full reset anyways so what does it matter if we can play one week earlier or later. If the devs would release open Beta and the servers would crash every 5 minutes those people who are allready so negative now would cry even more and harder... rly.. get a life guys...

  5. Great Guide, well done. But I wouldn't agree that Pure Frost is that hard for fire/frost... I always liked that matchup actually and I won it often even against very strong High Ranked Frost Players. But I played a bit different Fire/Frost deck.. with rageclaws and at that time (before stormsinger buff) with gravity surge. Supported Rageclaws are nice vs Pure Frost and in other matchups they can help to build up pressure with multiple attacks because they are relatively cheap.

  7. This Game maybe has a small Comunity... but it is by far one of the greatest Comunities out there. Bringing a dead game BACK TO LIFE! Realy guys, again, my biggest respect and honour to everybody who contributes as he can... :gem:<3 

  8. I actualy think that this is an idea that should be taken into respect, if you didn't do this allready. In Germany you can found an e.V. (eingetragener Verein). Maybe this could be a way to go. It's relatively easy and sounds similar according legal and tax status as the described LLC.. and you don't need a studied manager to do it. Of course finances will have to be transparent here as well, the board has to be elected from the members and it has to be non-profit.
  9. hmm... the Problem with Shield Building as far as i see it, is not that it is OP in Non-Frost-Splashs, but its gettin OP in Frost-Splashs in combination with the other Buildingprotects. So imo it should be part of that diminishing effect of Glacier-Shell/Kobold Trick as well, or some workaround on that base... concerning stormsinger: I think the buff was slightly over the top and the ability should be a little bit more expensive. T1: Treespirits (!) OP (need rework), Phasetower slightly OP, Dryad (!) (blue) OP in 2vs2, passive shouldn't work for both Players T2: Bandits (!) UP, Firedancer (!) cliffdancing OP, should reduce dmg-output, Stormsinger discusable, maybe slightly too strong T3: Timeless One (!) OP, Juggernaut Base Nuke OP, Shield Building discusable + Bugfixes Just refreshing my subjective List of discusable Balancing-Inssues here on base of the thread and others and the discussion. Ah yeah and i tried out this nice colours

  12. actualy i forgot cliffdancing OP ... in my eyes Mortar is ok, since the last nerf, so maybe it doesn't have to be on the list... Phasetower is clearly too strong vs Nature T1 and Treespirits are clearly broken (even Aragorn says they should be reworked...), imho.... I think it is clear for everybody that we are talking about slight nerfs and that the balance overall was quite ok.
  13. Ok guys, one last question here again ^^ .. I went through the thread and somehow i'd like to hear some opinions about Stormsinger. I recall that some people thought the buff of stormsinger made her too strong and somehow i can understand this point of view (though i was happy about the buff as fire/frost player). What do you think about this folks? At the moment my list of further discusable things would be: T1: Tree Spirits OP, Phasetower slightly OP and Mortar slightly OP T2: Bandits UP, Stormsinger slightly OP (?) T3: Shield Building OP, Timeless One Ability OP + ALL BUGFIXES
  14. Actualy it's ok, because i find it interesting myself how theese mechanics now realy work and we anyway discuss possible Bugs that are interesting for PvP Balance here as well, so it is not realy Offtopic when i think about it again.

Thanks for making this clear RadicalX, but as you say yourself: T2 is mainly needed in Sh/Fr to defend into T3, and because of that, the strong T2 defense seems making it all a kind of lame deck to play. But ok, i will stp my biased whining then here, and go for sorting out the list and go through each post of the thread again and collect the opinions...

Hm, yeah, to me it just felt a bit too much, concerning the very cheap Units (DA + NC) plus Nasty and AOC plus CheapCC or Building Protects ... maybe just a slight nerf for Darkelves would be discussable? Maybe make their Ability Cost a very small amount of energy or have a greater disadvantage for them... And yeah SunWu, you are right, try to hit the NC with the drake before it can nasty kind of did the trick, however, this isn't always possible, especially at bottleneck points (same for splitting). It is counterplayable, but it affords much much more micro and foresight than just klicking two cards... Each card for itself is ok an balanced, but overall the combination of those cards (and there is NG adding as well) does provide a too easy way (not too effective, but too easy to execute) in defense, in my opinion. But i can not think of a good tweak.. maybe a slight DA-Abilty nerf...

Hey Everybody... because there were no more Posts here in the last weeks, i am going to complete and sort out the list in the first posting, so we have a list of things that are worth to discuss further. But before I'll lead over to this, i want to make one more point and ask for your opinions here and maybe someone can explain to me again why this was not OP, because I alwways felt it to be imbalanced: The defensive Power of shadow-splashs through the combination of Aura and Nasty. I know, this was not realy an issue for most of the community, but at least for me it felt that those two cards made it nearly impossible to attack Shadow/Frost in T2 in combination with the frostspells .. it sometimes was kind of frustrating to have worn off an enemy attack with micro and good counterplay, then launch the counterattack and the enemy just reacts with a defensive crawlernasty or an Aura to kind of easily dodge an attack... especialy a pain in the ass if you have kinda expensive attacking units like skyfire + scythe... i know, aura is dodgeable, nasty sometimes as well.. and i don't recall exactly what was done to nasty.. i think there was made a dmg-cap for it, that adressed it being too strong in T3 ?! But do you think it was fully balanced in T2 (Reavernasty..)? Or am i just biased? It just often felt soo lame to me.. boom nasty or aura, everything save... meeh.. I would like to hear some opinions on that to get it clear for me again, after this i will post the List of Balancing Issues found out in the discussion that are worth to discuss further.   19. I think it is ok if we go into discussing several Points (you do anyways). I guess the list is kinda long enough. gonna rework it alter and put all Whines together. I think Treespirit is definitely worth to be discussed and maybe a candidate for one of the earlier changes when servers are up.Clearly a lot of High Ranked Top Players see it as an issue (and even those who defend it,s ay the concept is wrong and there should be a change).
