  1. To be honest i have no idea why they give Firedancer a Siege ability. She is just shooting fire balls. With this logic many other units could have Siege ability too.
  2. Doesn't matter who won. Point is i don't think anything should be able to shoot over walls. Maybe XL and L units, that would make sense. But its just lame.
  3. Watched over 30 PvP replays nowadays from FarRock, and i have seen 2 matches so far where the Curse Well was used. Both time the user of this card won the game. I don't think they won because of this card... they were already kind of winning. Even tho the curse well costs 250 power, it takes down a Power Well, and the opponent is losing 100 Power forever. And he needs to rebuild a new one because he needs more power.. Then they are "wasting" 100 more power. But you get back 90% of the power to the Void. In my opinion its a situational card, only useful if you have a little ( ore more ) power advantage and you can afford it. This way you can just drain the opponent's power. But yeah, why would you waste 250 power to slow down your opponent? When you could spawn T3 units instead and finish the game faster. Seems like a "teasing" card to piss off your opponent when you are already winning. Curse Orb in the other hand.. Cheaper but only disables the orb for 15 sec ( not sure about the U3 stats ). Which can be very useful at some situations. I would say if you have a free slot in your deck.. Get it, it can be handy sometimes. But otherwise i wouldn't use it. And to answer your question about the power cost difference. Re-building a Power Well takes less time than an Orb, if Curse Orb were able to destroy an Orb.. Everyone would use it, that would be just way too op even if it costed 300+ power imo. Pushing back the enemy to T1 T2 while you are in T3.. That would be a free win
  4. By "buying the license" you mean buying the copy rights of BF from EA? Hardly doubt that will happen sadly.. EA won't sell it.
  5. Saw this interesting match recently.. Not just the dancers are annoying here, but that gate rebuilding bug... MaranV still manages to win.
  6. Yup, too expensive and needs a lot time to get back the power spent on it ( spawning ~6 times the little creeps ). Having a 120 cost T2 building just to have a little s/s creeps for + 80 powers is a waste. Could replace it with cheaper and even stronger card from T2.
  7. Ability costs goes to Viod too as i know. 90% of the costs, unless its a switch ability which returns in 100% to the void.

@anonyme0273 You are wrong that Shadow is the oldest element. The first one created was actually Nature (see quote from lore book below). But I believe that Frost existed even before it was an element itself because as it is essentially the absence of energy itself, it would have existed before energy was created as then energy would have been absent everywhere.

      From the lore book:
      "F
ire split and shattered the surface of the earth. Then giant rainstorms threatened to tear its surface away and the wind threatened. So Earth created a defense. It formed the trees, to hold the earth with their roots and shield it from the wind and drink the rain. Thus the element of nature was created, the first of the young elements."

Fairly I'll also add the creation of Frost:
"Now, with the elements still locked in war, a new threat crashed to the earth. It came from beyond the blackness, from another place and world. Huge lumbering beings of stone, like walking cities, rose from the crash site and began to build. They razed the forests and began to cover all of the earth’s surface with a gigantic stone city, an empty, eerie palace. All this in preparation for their vicious masters whose arrival they awaited.

In self defense, the elements forgot their struggle and turned upon the invaders. The plants wove their roots and vines through the invaders’ city and the winds and mists united in creating the frost, covering the colossi with ice, freezing the invasion army in a titanic crust."

I have to correct myself. :S Once I dove a bit deeper into the lore book I found that Nature is just the first of the younger elements but actually the third element created.
The order in which the elements were created is Shadow, Fire, Nature, Frost. While this doesn't change my opinion I don't want to spread wrong information.

"The universe began in light. Two beings existed, each utterly different but with a harmony and a bond between them so strong it gave form to the light and became the magic we see shaped into spells today.

But as is the way of all things, those two could never be truly equal. And as the concepts of power and dominance slowly dawned upon them, their first and only fight broke loose. Suffice to say – the one slew the other. The victim’s blood flowed, black and cold like the vile deed that spilled it. And as it flowed and it flowed, it soaked the universe in its black, freezing essence, draining away the light. To this day it is called the Shadow, the taint of pain and despair."

"The other being, the victorious slayer, now realised the loss and loneliness and understood that his only equal was gone. And with that discovery came pain, pain so fierce it became fire. Fire which he cried like tears, sprinkling the blood-soaked blackness of the universe, his every tear becoming a shining star."

"Shadow is the oldest of the powers. Formed from the blood of the very First Victim, it is the taint of sin that soaked a universe of light. Its stain forever reminds us of that original vile deed. Shadow's essence is pain and terror, but it also feels the urge to break free and to endure. Those bound to Shadow are ready to suffer endless pain and give their lives to achieve their ends. They live between death and life, bearing risk to gain power."

      -The Elemental Powers

      I see you corrected yourself.

@Azta Light is just a temporary power over Shadow, while Shadow is the total absence of light, nothing, darkness and terror, connected to fear and curiosity of the new that awaits. Only light can discover the realms of Shadow, but all light has to come to an end. It is inevitable, so all parts of Shadow that will be revealed will fade back in to Shadow with time. Shadow is, was, and always will be timeless. Memories will fade, light will be forgotten and Shadow will rule again. No overcoming it.

  12. I don't think a Banner should have such a nerf. Its a structure for sure, but not a building like Tower, wall, or anything. Its just a banner, a flag which can be put down fast.

  14. I didn't have much experience with pvp in the old BF, when the game shut down i was still a newbie. BUT. If you guys think logically, and realistically. In reality archers on higher place, cliff, walls whatever, they do have advantage. They can actually shoot farther. And don't come up with the bad excuse its a game, not reality. It just makes no sense. It actualy has nothing to do with both reality and "its just a virtual game". It depends on the lore thats made by the developers. Its their (fantasy) world. And just to let you know guys, many RTS game has this mechanic, and its an INTENDED feature of those games. As someone else mentioned before, this mechanic was present even in the beta, and they never changed it. I guess, for a reason. And just curious. Is it not possible to occupy the cliffs and walls in the game, before the opponent ( the cliffdancer ones ) gets there? If yes, then its as much an important strategic step to do as occupying a power well or orbs. Also called map controll. Its important to defend your well in any way, no matter if there is a cliff or not. If you can't counter a cliff shooting, that means you are not well prepared, your deck is not good against this method. There are many deck varieties and each of them require different counters. And as someone else mentioned before. Don't take wells that can be "cliffdancered" ( this is so funny ) if you don't have or can't counter them.
