When you get the errorcode 1, could you please make a copy of your log.txt and post it here? Please do this before clicking on anything or restarting because the log will overwrite itself each time.

Is your sound working normally in other games? Did you check if the volume is not turned very low in the options menu?
Did you try reinstalling the drivers for your soundcard?
Im guessing that onedrive locked the .log file when Battleforge tries to write to it. If this is the case than I am not sure if there is anything we can do about it. It would make more sense to file a bug report with Microsoft so they wont lock files.

OneDrive is that your windows username, or are you using Microsoft OneDrive to store your documents folder?
It looks like you are missing files. Please try to redownload the client and the updater and extract them to the same folder. Make sure there is no antivirus blocking anything or putting any of the files in quarantaine.
Losing connection doesnt mean the servers are down. Actually the servers have been up most of the time during the open stress test. User slots have been increased too, it are bugs that make you lose connections. Devs are working on it though.

You get this error when the server declines the match. Could you please post your log.txt here so we can find out why this happened? Make a copy of the log right after you get this error (before clicking anything) because the client will overwrite your log each time you restart.
