  1. About the difficulty, I would say its OK. In some cases, a bit too easy - but always depends on you team. Currently there is no reason to clear the shrine and then hold the node which you have unlocked. (as Moon is telling you) What I mean, in most run we are clearing (alone or together) all shrines and then go for the nodes with T4 wait 5 sec and then go for the end phase. I was thinking if that is how the map is “supposed” to be played or if the players should activate the node and hold it… If holding is the way to go, it had to be attractive to do. - Give you something if you do. (energy / a buff / etc.) - Make it harder if you don’t (Enemy use the not to spawn attack waves) Personal I would make it hard 😊 But that’s only how I play the maps, maybe other players to it in another way.
  2. About timer and “better” artifacts -> sound good. About the Midwinter… well…. I also see not much use in getting the unit. Its slow, spawns to late, and has no impact if you have T4 units (and in most cases a lot of them) Even if we could spawn the units earlier and make it faster, I don’t think it will change a lot… A rework of the map could work, but would take a lot of recourses/time. But just an idea while we at it: Change the Midwinter from an optional task to a mandatory task. 1. So we move the Midwinter-spawning-switch to position “A” The left team is most of the time faster then the right side, so they could take care of the camp + switch, while the right team clear the T4 base. 2. The Midwinter would then fly into the map from the left side “C” (not spawn randomly in the middle of the maps like she has been teleported by QueekQueek) Her task: Destroy a “AMII-SWITCH-THING” near the gate “B1” to open the gate “B2” Only after that Rogan and players can pass walk to the end of the map. 3. Midwinter could also spawn units, so the players could support her with spells. As I said, just an idea IF the SK-Team go for a map rework. (there are much likely more important tasks at hand, then rework a working map 😉 ) I´m not sure if this has already been discussed, but “nether warping through a closed gate”? I would say that’s a bug/not intended by the developer… If there is ground present on the others side, ok. But just by clicking close enough shouldn’t be a thing…
  3. I also think this is one of the hardest maps (on expert) The thing is: not only you have to have a good run in clearing 3 Caps + in time + in a row But also your 3 Teammates. You can try to give spell support but often this could mean you would not clear your camp in time. And if you don’t clear you camp in time, its almost game over. Often you can’t switch that fast from your attack army to a defensive position. (all power is in the void pool) And even if you can switch that fast, I see no chance that you can clear the next camp in time I never tried a full defense tactic but its maybe even harder than the attack rout. I think a boost of energy would help a lot. We could add more energy at the start (maybe as void and reduce the start wells) So you have ~1 Unit/Spell more to clear the camp or help your mates. I also like the idea of @JarodDempsey to get the energy ball roiling
  4. I like the idea of a faster spawning last wave. For speed runners - super nice But I was also thinking the other way: If you play the map with newer players and they decide to go from top to bottom, the will have there main army at the end of the map, when on the other side spawns a big army. So maybe It would be nice to have a bit time between last camp clear and last wave spawn. (or add a switch to skip the countdown) Also, it would be a more interesting defense at the top if there were a bigger variance of units. What I mean (Exp): Wall 1 = archers, Wall 2 = bugs (I think), Wall 3 = flying units, Wall 4 = Slavers (I think) Could also help against the easy block Cocofang mentions. At least at the top. Having a special boss sounds nice, but as you already realized – it’s a on time thing for every player. (Spending time for something which is only visit once vs spending time on something which is used in every run) Maybe give the boss a “big” gold chest…
  5. I also think that Amii Monument is chnaging the map pretty hard. The last objective is just a nice to have / to do. You could change the objective from “Build 5 Orbs” to “Build this 5 Orbs” (Of course this had to be coded 😉 ) I think changing the gold reward won’t change much. If you have an Amii Monument you must likely will use it on this map.
  6. You are right, up to 100% is to much. I absolutely like the idea to of @Cocofangto change the Wrath of the Souls form an “only damage” thing, to a “damage + buff / debuff” thing.
  7. @Kapo Is writing „Unpopular Opinion” but I totally agree. Buffing “the wrath of the souls” on expert is totally legitim. Especial on the Expert Map. An idea would be, changing the damage from flat to percentage. So 1. Wave 25%, 2. Wave 50%, 3. Wave 75%, 4. Wave 100%. (On Adv, maybe 15,30,45,60) Which the wrath would be dangerous even if you are T4. To survive you have to pass it on. (or play nature and heal) I like the idea, but I think it doesn’t change much. I mean if 4 players with like 20-40 T4 Units go bashing on the last boss, its not really a fight 😉 I think the boss would need some spewing support like Branoc in his battle so he is a bit more frightening
  8. @WindHunter should we repost our ideas / thoughts / suggestions in the new topics? (Mabye a bit more compressed?)
  9. Agree, Sound cool! I would be interested, but more in the “rooky-league” 😉 if there are enough players for something like that. I think a fix Play-day is hard to manage. Sometimes you don’t have time or get ill. (Or maybe we have some problems with time zones) So something like “play your game till” could work, every player can then get in touch with his opponent and set a date. -> Of course it would be cool if we would have a “League-day” a week, so you could play more then one match if multiple of your opponents are online
  10. First of all: Big thx to all you posted something in this topic. It was a huge help! I thought I post my story to the 3D Print topic to maybe inspire some to give it a shot too. I buoyed my self a 3D Printer and was thinking, if I could print a Juggernaut or something like that? I Don’t wanted to start with something to complex so I choose a building to start. --> Amii Monument sounds cool So with the help of this Forum-Topic, I found the pak file, exported the files and viewed them via LightSong 0.5 Realization 1: The model was in the inactive state. So export the Model as an obj, import it in Fusion 360 and pulling stuff around. Export as STL and import it in to Cura. Realization 2: The print would Take 13,5 hours… And i only have green filament... The filament I’m using is cheap and blocked the nozzle. It would be cool to have it all in one piece, but I just printed the rest in a second run and stuck it together The result didn’t look to bad: Realization 4: If you have an active Amii Monument -> You need an Orb. So I took out my crazy bad soldering skills, some LEDs and som cling film The plan is to replace the foil with a table tennis ball 😉 I have added the STL file if someone want to print his own Amii Monument AMII.stl
  11. First of all, I think most of the proposal are very good. Blight: On expert this map is brutal. On other maps the player can support each other with some spells, but here is the timing and energy so tied that helping your teammate could mean losing your side. Having a bit mor time would help a lot or ~100 more energy (=one more Unit) at the start could also help King of the Giants: I agree – the Midwinter is nearly always behind Rogan. Spawning it earlier would help a bit, but as soon as the players arrive, the Midwinter is obsolete. So maybe it would help to chnage it to an unit faster – like Battleship with shield (as an addition to the early spawn) so the unit actually can help. But as @wanky already said 4 Players with like 6-12 T4 Units -> the Midwinter doesn’t change a lot here… Sunbridge: I think the gate switching thingy should be “fixed”. Of course you could say: If you want to play “normal” that don’t use it. But it is still a 2-player map and if you tell your random teammate the you want to try a “normal” run and suddenly you are alone in your lobby or he say YES, the game starts and he is doing the switching nevertheless - it’s a bit frustrating. Also, Expert Maps should be a challenge – and here is Exp. easier the Std. The Dwarven Riddle: “Make Crystal Guardians who can CC visually distinctive” Why not make all more distinctive? I mean the guardians of the green crystal can CC, so for example give them a green glow, the guardians of the red crystal get a red glow and so one. (If that is technical possible) The Guns of Lyr: “Prevent construction of any structure at the map borders” I don’t use this strategy so I, won’t say yes or no. But if you go for yes -> you could also just increase the size of the fire field. It doesn’t make a lot of sense why units should walk behind the fire field at all. Should go all the way to the border. Trigger final attack by destroying the last camp without “doing your tasks” I use this for my GoL speedruns too, but I think its not intended by the developers… I really like the idea from @WindHunter: to give the building a shield till an objective is completed. I would connect the shield to the Amii gate. It doesn’t make sense to fix all canons and fire at the third wall, if you are still defending at the second wall when the final wave hits you. So all camps are destroyed, gate opens, shield goes down. Also, or in addition you could change the positions of the building. So it is further away from the wall. (But I think that would look a bit weird) The Soultree: Yeah well, the elephant in the room -> Amii Mounument You could change the Task from “Build 5 orbs” to “Build THIS 5 orbs” So you don’t comply the objective by the count of orbs. You need to build the orbs at Position a,b,c,d,e Titans: I also think Pos 3 needs something more to do. Maybe give him switches so slow down Jorne, like a one-time rootings-spell in every camp. (Maybe not root but slow down - cast Befall visual effect on him, so he cant see the way) Or a switch so Jorne can’t walk directly (first wall) and has to walk the northern path. Like placing SUPER-MINES, which he is scared of. General: The teleport over/through the Amii Gate should be fixed. (as @Weak1ings already said) I know, for a speedrun perspective its nice – but I think the developers never have intended this I really looking forward to some fixing / balancing / clarifying of the PvE Maps.
  12. Will do 🙂 Both your ideas sound already very nice👌
  13. THX for the Update. Much appreciated as always. (im just a bit confuced why you dont the the "feature" to trigger the last wave on GoL on your PvE list or is this already fixed...)
  14. First of all: I really like this challenge. I don’t think I will win this but it is still fun to try! I’m going for a nature deck and just what to be sure about this Point: Dose the stranglehold count as a “attacking tower (Purple)”? It doesn't have attackpoints written on the card, but deals damage. Just want to be sure to get this lovely 200 Points 😉
  15. Have tried on Standard -> All fine now. THX
  16. I encountered the crash some more times, so I was wondering if there is a way to avoid it?
  17. just had the same error. Just if you need some more log files. In my case the crash occurred after blight spawned. He just finished his sentence with pork chops. And i was so fast :-D maybe to fast Ocean_log.zip
  18. Worked for me, too (but it wasnt always crashing if i skiped some of the towers...)
  19. Sadly, not at the moment… First have to transfer my MYSQL db from my network on a “real” server. and the software I’m using is called QlikVIew. Free for personal use, but don’t think for public.
  20. Hmmm, i did my own leaderboard chart same days ago. (Just tracking Name + ELO + Time) The plan was to make a statistic “The rising of Ultralord” :-D But the problem is: I suck at PvP… But still funny to see how Radical and Afro keeping the place and not moving at all
  21. @Xeon, That is awesome! I just started at a similar statistic as you two days ago (in my case with a MYSQL DB) but had no time for some GUI stuff. But you already have the result i was aiming for so, i will just look at your chats :-D I’m very interested to see the one week of sessions graph.
  22. Another interesting AH fact: Since the booster price has been changed the average price of an Ultra Rare card (including all, also cards like curse Orb or Volcano) raised from ~320 BFP to 400 BFP that’s around 25%
  23. Helping -> no, you cant change the current price. But Charts are pretty ? And you could see easily that Enlightenment is currently falling or that Amii Monument found a nice spot at 1800 - 1900
  24. Yes i have multiple monitors. I´m using 1920x1080 in windows mode (default BF settings) My problem was that the window mode added the “Window-Title-Bar” (don’t no the correct name xD ) so some of the bottom part of the BF-Window were not visible / outside the screen. Because windows is wired, you cant move the window upwards. so I use a tool to set the BF-Window to -27 on the y aches. (http://www.scottandmichelle.com/scott/program/swru.html) My BF is always on top of my taskbar, so I have no problem with that at the moment.
