  1. Moving the southwest spawn location up slightly is already quite big, as it can happen that you get in a sort of respawn loop where all units constantly attack your southern Monument. I believe it would already come a long way, if captured and held nodes granted vision around the area. (Like in the image for example) Vision is such an underestimated tool and being able to predict and see incoming waves of enemies may make it noticeably easier to defend at respective locations. The wall segments look completely off and adding wells at the nodes I feel like is more of a trap, as you're likely to lose them when having to keep an eye out at multiple spots. Also you have quite a lot of power by the time you reach T3. What I consider much more of an issue is the fact that Nightmare's End has terrible difficulty scaling. On Advanced your T3 (north) does not get attacked at any point, your T1 does not get attacked at any point by pushing T4 (south). It barely prepares you about anything Expert might throw at you. You pretty much never have to divert your attention towards any of your monuments and can just focus on the current task ahead, where as Expert requires you to keep attention at multiple spots at once, while having to spend a good amount of resources, since the waves get quite strong, which makes advancing so frustrating for many. You clear one spot and get shit on at another. You can play the map several times on Expert and still get overwhelmed, because Advanced does a horrendous job at showing you what Expert might be like. I like Nightmare's End, it's challenging and I have a good time playing it. Probably my favourite map. I am actually for making Advanced a little bit more difficult by introducing the mechanics Expert has on a tame level. Like getting attacked by 2 Archers and 2 Slavers at T1 and T3 respectively after doing aforementioned tasks.
  2. Mostly good changes. However to me those small walls at the nodes look terrible.
  3. Afaik not as it is a different entity and seperate from the player card. This would also affect balancing of the whole map.
  4. I see, hmm but then it looks a bit too gentle to me.
  5. Turned out quite well, although I think the shard effect could be a bit more "static". Looks a bit odd, when the stone fragments move up slightly after they emerge.
  6. I truly hope Toggy is among those voice actors. We need some Warlock voice acting.
  7. All good, I'm just joking. 😬 I wouldn't be able to choose a "1st place winner" in good faith. And especially in creative contests like these I think it's better this way.
  8. When the entries are all so bad, they simply skipped platinum.
  9. I agree 8 days for some creative contest it definitely too short. This may work for regular contests like PvE challenges or CCCs. For creative contests however, there are just more factors at play. I spent like more than 8 hours to create my submission and this was during a phase I had more free time. The groundwork is laid out for you in events where you have to play a specific map with certain restrictions. I assume several players spent some time coming up with a meme worthy of submission and by the time they wanted to create it, they only had 3 days or so left. Some were most certainly held back by the time frame. Should be 14 days minimum.
  10. Hrdina we all know you only play Magma Hurlers, so any booster contents are redundant anyways.
  11. Issue: In the recently added Nature preset for Battlegrounds/rPvE, the boss Terra occasionally summons Thornbarks called Guardians of Nature. Abyssal Warders summon lesser versions of themselves when eliminated. Both spawns are not subject to void return mechanics involved with freezes. Shrine of Martyrs will not grant any void power back when both summons are being frozen by something like Coldsnap. It's unclear if this also applies to other summons from different presets and/or this also applies to void return granted by Shrine of War, when they are killed while it is active. 12. Can't wait to hear your Stonekin Bedrock voice over!
  13. People saying Wheel of Gifts sucks.... Even the AI uses them now! Where is your god now?
  14. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. I guess the idea is a smaller form of the current AI Lost Dragon. Do you mean 100 or 10 life points per second, because 100 for a T2 flying unit is a bit obscene. Lost Dragon only regenerates 60 per second to surrounding units.
  16. Keep in mind this is still the case for AI Evil Eye. It can disintegrate spawn buildings while they still keep their functionality. I blame myself for this lel
  17. I haven't played too much Twilight in recent times, but regarding PvE I'd blame it (currently) on the lack of options the faction has. Building a pure Twilight deck is pretty straight forward, your pool of available viable cards for PvE rather small and you default to the same few cards fairly quickly. I can build a Bandits, Stonekin or Lost Souls cards and at least say to myself:"Yes, I consider this a respective faction deck." For Twilight specifically I always don't feel so. Twilight deck building feels less like building a true faction deck and more like building a Fire/Nature deck with a bit of Twilight included. Basically an afterthought. However I hope with the intended changes and introductions we can remedy this somewhat.
  18. Time for a full slam dunk! The time has come to obliterate the top performers straight into nothingness! Talking about you Juice Tank.
  19. Forsaken/Nox Trooper with Soul Splicer (Nature) and Motivate is still the go to start for most players starting with Shadow, so nothing has changed here in that regard. Phase Tower got a bit out of flavour due to a nerf it received for PvP. But I still see it, albeit rarely. There are new cards that may be interesting for you, namely Amii Paladins as Majora mentioned or Transcendence, which is a T4 spell card that debuffs a target of your own but buffs all surrounding ones substantially or you can heavily buff one enemy target but weaken all surrounding ones in the process. As for units, T2 the general culprits are Shadow Phoenix, Harvester or Burrower, T3 you may opt for Ashbone Pyros, Swamp Drakes or Deepcoil Worm or any neutral XL unit if needed. Void Return with Furnace of Flesh and Cultist Master is the usual way and Resource Booster. Do you plan to stick with Lost Spirit Ships in T4? If not, Death Ray with the new Transcendence is a great strat. There were several changes to Shadow T4 ground units. You can obviously go Overlord as the staple Shadow T4 unit, try the reworked Necrofury or improved Void Maws. Depending on your T2 strat and further plans, Surge of Light, Curse of Oink, Equilibrium/Regrowth are pretty much the standard spells to take. Offering with Rifle Cultists, too. Frenetic Assault is a popular CC spell and if you go 3 Shadow, the reworked Plague is high recommended. Befallen's Curse got changed slightly, so it too is a consideration along with Soul Shatter. If you want to trade your organs, may take Infect as well. If you stick with Lost Spirit Ship, Maelstrom, Coldsnap and Lost Horror may be good additions. Here's an example of a Shadow/Nature deck. I'd say build a deck, maybe share it and I think everyone can give you some advice on how to continue.
  20. You can thank Kubik for discovering it.
  21. Description: Uhh yeah, not much to add. While being disintegrated by any source, as long as the Flamethrower was active before disintegration took place, it will keep being active and deal continously damage. This can destroy the disintegration source. Rotational effect stops. Video footage: https://streamable.com/a465la Reproducibility: Always
  22. And everybody playing Guns of Lyr, who doesn't forget: "Hurry, clear the engineer's path!"
  23. My name actually has some real life association. Pretty much since I was 3 years old I carry the name Bini with me. All my real life friends, as well as those I got to know during my online life and some within my family call me Bini, so there is that. My actual nickname. Connection to my real life name is there, but loose. Anyways, as it turns out Bini is a name used by some and is oftentimes already used by someone else, so I had to come up with a surname to distinguish myself. I put Bini in reverse, which is Inib and then added the bitor part at the end, as the the word would then be close to Inhibitor (don't you dare...). Related surname, but actually has no connection to the actual word. There you go.
