    All of the code for quest system is done server side, this has nothing to do with the actual game code. The only thing done in the client is to actually display these quests, which is what you see in the quest interface. That is inherently different to the actual code of the game, such as in the client, which contains stuff like game mechanics, AI behavior. This code is obfuscated and encrypted in a way that we still until now only have limited knowledge of its contents. Not to say that it isn’t possible, but things like 6vs6 pvp or 12P may be very close to that. BattleForge was not designed to be a MMO so connecting 6 sessions into one game was already a feat in itself back in the day, developing more slots for players, especially with our limited resources, is no easy task. However, maybe there exists a way to develop 6P PvE based on the existing 3v3 PvP infrastructure.

    While that seems like a good solution, there's many factors to keep in mind, such as quest balance and other things. Such a change does not necessarily solve the problem, as players will feel forced to complete that quest and possibly queue just to throw and get the reward. The only solution I see is to reduce the actual barrier to entry for PvP for new players, as well as having a healthy influx of new players that are keen to try PvP, so that they would first be matched against each other.

    It’s certainly possible. In fact there’s already a clan right now in the game, it’s called the {GM} clan But I’m not sure how feasible it will be to have everyone create their own clan. Certainly good for thought somewhere down the line

    You will actually need to create your profile again at reset :3 meaning you can name yourself whatever you want There’s also been a lot of thread discussing clans, maybe you could have a look. As for developmental possibilities regarding clans it would have to be something to be discussed

    New proposed rank requirements planned to be implemented on test server soon. New requirements will be as follows: Rank requirements are now uniform across all rarities: Commons, uncommons, Rare, Ultra rare Rank requirement for U1 upgrade: Pve and/or PvP Rank 1 U2 upgrade: PvE or PvP rank 4 U3 upgrade: PvE or PvP rank 5 Note that rank requirements will take the highest achieved rank in PvP, not current rank, which means rank decay will not factor in what upgrades you can apply. We were debating removing rank requirements entirely, however feel that upgrading cards in matter of U1 to U3 gradually provided some sort of more fluid progression . We have changed rank requirements to be uniform across rarities to ease the upgrading of rare and ultra rare cards in particular. Also lowered rank requirements for most cards, while balancing common card upgrades based on Upgrade level rather than rarity.

    He means you should start playing pve but you’re right we are not trying to force anyone to play any game mode they don’t want just to be able to upgrade cards. Removing upgrade requirement was something we decided a long time ago Kubik just never wanted to implement it.

    We have something exactly like that in test server. Kubik implemented it before he left .But it’s very buggy and crashes your game immediately so we need to fix it :/

  24. The whole team respects kubik’s opinion, and appreciate his hard work, as you can read in the opening thread. That was not MrXLink’s thread and words alone, everyone in the team either contributed or read over it. We worked as a team, always have, always will, and when Kubik decides to put his own needs and feud first, over the project, over the game, over the team, we don’t have a choice in the matter really. I want to say again, Kubik was not pushed out in any way shape or form. It was due to his own personal conflict that he made the decision himself to leave, and he stood firmly on that decision.
