  1. That might be true for some maps (maybe like Insane God which I have not tried yet) but for Defending Hope where you have easy T3, that might not be the case. Although I do think this should have some weight. Sort of but 3 Root Nexus span 100m linearly but covers like 1/8th the area of a true 100m radius. Does it matter? This also would depend on map/placement. In total, for cases where you do want to cover about a 100m defense zone, this a huge deal... For cases were you need T2 or not that large of an area anyway? Well, you can/might stick to Root Nexus... I guess this makes sense with rest of the changes but I guess I'll still somehow miss it despite it wasn't that easy to use it as backline root support anyhow...
  2. Actually I don't have much full mono color faction cards but I think and is probably the easier ones to complete... At least I started with and am struggling to take down the shrine on advanced. Maybe share some of the problem of but feels likes a little more doable with T1 swift units. I haven't tried expert Convoy but at least for Behind Enemy Lines Stanglehold works great over the cliff. PS For , I am just probably missing some cards. 🙂
  3. It is very possible for group(s) of Skylords/Skyladies/other Sky beings to coordinate and try to "manipulate the market" but even then so what? Where in real life you might have true monopolies on production of certain things, can you claim that here? There probably number of players, outside of these "market manipulating group(s)", opening booster packs (or codes for events etc) independently who can easily benefit from artificially inflated prices. If the player base is static, I would assume card prices would have a general downward trend (the actual in game usefulness of additional copies of cards would go down as everyone eventually have all the copies of each card in game that actually matters: 5th... Nth copy of non-promo cards don't provide any in game utility other than reforging and 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc copy of promo cards provide no utility at all since they can't even be reforged). Then the general upward trend could well be "market manipulation" or new Sky beings (more actual demand) coming along... or maybe just reforging even? I don't know how much of each we are talking about here but you need a lot more data than this. It is a little sad that some usual common cards (like Windwavers) is rather expensive typically for new players but I think if they exercised a little patience, the daily BFP and achievements goes a long way. I been back playing SR for a little over 2 months by now and I definitely remember charges on XL units were (and still somewhat is) my biggest problem (most of the time the default charges on non-XL units were enough or I didn't have to wait too long since usually I needed only a few more recharges) but I solved that either by sticking to cheaper cards or, where I can, use Offering (often times both affinity) and Furnace of Flesh (yeah not all decks I/anyone want to play could always fit a single ). I flip cards myself but I also wait (sometimes weeks) for cards I really want (to keep/play) to come back down to median or lower price before I buy... Time is not on side of "market manipulators" for reasons I already stated.

Honestly I would deprioritize exporting deck from game if that is hard because if deck builder website is updated and enhanced a little like regardless of deck order, list out: T1: [orbs of all cards in T1] [units] [spells] [building] -- maybe even average power by card type and overall average??? ... Or whatever statistics/analysis that people like. In that way, deck builder website would generally be better than in game deck building (only reason why I would then want to do it in game is to make sure I got the cards/upgrades/charges needed). The goal is to push people to build decks on website and share/import to game.
  6. I don't know how hard/if it is possible is to integrate this in-game but love the idea and I think is a good thing to layout the long term vision (I agree with everything @Kapo). I think what I suggested is doable and the bare minimum (small update to website and view individual decks from generated code) but still a lot better than what we have today (the most "bang for the buck"). Forum integration would make it a lot easier for people to write and use guides. Finally being able to import/export decks from game itself (I am sort of expecting UI challenges but worse case: /addeck deckname <code> and maybe /getdeck deckname and server does the right thing). Tying this back to max number of in-game decks issue, this could a workaround for that (you can have in theory infinite number of decks with this but would need external management)! 🙂
  7. I would love it if I could just click on deck images that we have on forum today and that brings me to website that I can view each card in deck. The allcards website is almost there but problem is it doesn't give link for the specific deck I wanted (when I use the link it gives me, it shows me another deck and I need to select one I wanted from list). The other nice to have thing would be hovering on card in deck also shows the card info and not just the images (maybe top players know cards well enough that it doesn't matter either way for them but I think it would be super helpful for those of us trying to learn). I think I put in @Treim's rPvE10 deck in mocked up screenshot provided (was the closest deck to what I am playing).
  8. I'm pretty blown away by the time achieved by others and humbled to have lucked out due to rank limit to have some commentary on my run. Yep, I did find @Dallarian's pure guide to be a great help (even though I don't consider myself that new given my time playing in old days, I have always been a causal player: I didn't even know about 'Q' key for 'attack move'). It'll probably be a long while before I attempt a pure deck though. Is pretty sad that my run times with a full deck isn't much better so I know I got lots things to improve on... I have considered split attack after T4 but don't the skill to pull it off and is absolutely amazing to see someone manage to do it so nicely (and with less cards to boot)! I did have lot of fun and earned a lot of gold doing this event (I do intend to review so replays to see if they can help me improve a little)! Thanks for the event and all the hard work for making it happen! Looking forward to future events! 🙂
  9. Loving the look and feel of the card! Give it a chance, they did say this already: I don't think the main point of Transcendence's Tyranny ability is the -25% damage but the 50% less regeneration (I don't know how many bosses got super strong regen ability/support so that does still seem a little lackluster). On Kenosis side is sort of like Home Soil but without the need for or Ice Barrier and the 50% more regen is just icing (down side is the 90 power cost forces 45s recharge once you are out of charge but nothing Offering can't solve for ). Maybe, besides giving and options, this is just a slot efficiency play because with Offering [G] you can have +50% damage and 50% more regen for your units and -25% damage and 50% less regen for enemy units from just 2 cards (and more charges for rest of your T4). It'll be interesting what other players will do with it.
  10. Welcome! I'm NA player myself but there is definitely noticeably less players in game (maybe even on forum) during this hour. There is still decent number of players in game but not sure if is all specifically North America (sure there might be some South America). I used to play back in the day as well and just found SR (Skylords Reborn) been up for some time now and just restarted myself ~2 months ago.

Was just checking that we were just 9 people short of being upgraded to General Booster but also finally catching that @Simplifyingretiring from game (yeah I didn't read the full post 😜 before)... Sad to see you go but hopefully you'll visit us on forums once in a while. I'm not expecting to win anything since I don't have much confidence in my own entry (I already claimed my mini Booster 😍) but looking forward to see works of others. Thank you everyone for making this happen and good luck to all participants. Yeah, game still looks pretty good.

  14. I think what this means for most people is they will end up with 1 booster for just a successful run from random draw or participation reward (depending on league). And I think that as incentive for Insanity league, you get a total of 2 booster and 150 BFP just for participation. For Master league, you don't really loose out either since you now guaranteed yourself a booster pack as opposed to having a very high chance of Iron league (sorry, my math is a bit rusty and I think ~91.67% for either winning random draw of Iron league OR (loosing Iron league then winning Advanced league OR [loosing Iron and Advanced league then winning Rookie league])). If you want more then you'll need to compete for the fastest run of league(s) that you qualify for. As a bonus for you have a shot at at non-promo UR card of your choice for having the absolute fastest time. Disclaimer on "most people": I am assuming there is a decent amount of people in leagues above Rookie league otherwise if everyone/a lot of people did just Rookie league then in fact most people will get nothing (~33% on random draw so ~67% of people get nothing for this league). On other hand, if everyone did a successful run of Master or Insanity league then everyone gets at least 1 booster.
  15. I agree, it feels like 2 cards is doable (for really good players which I don't count myself as) but definitely seems rather annoying. I have decent time left with 3 cards and I assume my card selection, strategy, and execution is pretty average/below average.

  17. I haven't seen so much spam so as I can't scroll the window and was thinking that as good enough for me. I take your point so how about putting player/guild info message in the left box where the ingame [Outcry] usually go? Personally I don't mind the long chat lines but that is because I play at pretty high res and can resize right message window to be really long. As dev, I get that you need to worry about all players. Maybe a poll or something? Not sure what's the channel, if there is any, on getting feedback from player base... 🙂
  18. Well, a compromised solution for chat part is maybe to only have system messages when joining 2+ player games. Like: [System]: You joined games with [player 1][tag 1] ... [System]: [player][tag] has joined game As for pictures... I would think most people want to be able to choose for their own guild. Maybe creation of new guilds is a weekly process so as to limit how often game updates are needed? I think ideally players can chose to use current profile pictures or use guild picture and let them decide. Is it possible do implement like a '/whois' command over chat message box to show complete guild (or lack of) info? PS: Not that important to discussion but you can right click name and select 'Whisper to' in UI to get '/whisper name' filled out for you so you don't have to type full name yourself.
  19. I get not being able to fit too many words in a line is annoying but until other workable ideas are on table, I'll let others decide if that is acceptable price for having guilds or not. Is it possible to make use of profile picture slot? Like replacing that with guild icons instead?
  20. I like guild idea also and going to tossing more ideas out there... I would be happy to just have some indication in chat messages. And if people wanted guilds to be more apparent, maybe when players join 2+ player games, the info can be in system messages? This can be disabled later if UI solution is implemented and people want to see less text... On UI front... How about color coding names or something? Like current/default of white for regular players with no guild and something else for players in a guild? If the tool tip idea is not too bad, then people can hover over player names to see guild info?

This probably doesn't matter for PvP but to answer your question... 🙂 Aside from rarity, visual, and maybe price differences, as said promos are same as max upgrade with max charges but promos could allow you to use two of the "same" legendary cards in a single game (supposedly versions in some campaign maps are also different, they usually have "leader immunity" etc so makes sense but I haven't confirmed it myself). I tried spawning Viridya and promo Viridya in forge to show this.
  22. Cool! I think that'll let me be a little more aggressive (I still need plenty of gold for card upgrades so would be nice if I can salvage it even if a run doesn't qualify for this challenge). I'm usually pretty slow but I have already learned a decent amount attempting 3 cards/5 cards runs (I did succeed in those actually but eyeing for faster time now). I seen pretty insane times but looking forward to what others can do given the restrictions.
  23. Cool! Another point of clarification while we are at it... Could we bring a full deck but only use 3 cards and have it count as Insanity league? I ask because of messing up a few times actually bring 3 cards only... 🙂
  24. @Dallarian Are you sure you aren't a player with speed like that? 😄 Sounds like an interesting event that even I can participate in (the last single ground presence was a bit too tricky for me) and I need the gold for card upgrades too!
  25. This is different from Hammerfall [B] which currently only grants ice shields to units. Armored Tower will now grant ice shields to entities (which includes other buildings/towers and even wall segments now); this is similar to it's original Gift of Ice ability whereas giving it Provoke would be a bigger change. Too bad Armored Tower is T3 so not sure how much I would make use of the shielding of wall segments but we'll see.
