Free for all mode ? or 1v1v1 possible ?

My guess is yes, since we can setup 3 teams and they all hate each other. But I dont know where the limit of that is, also 1v1v1v1, or even more?

Wouldn't it always be 2v1 and then 1v1?

And I think the limit is game UI, I believe it requires exactly two teams for PvP.

On Slave Master, we got 3 factions and everyone hates everyone. Doesnt that also apply to PvP?

But I also expect that too often two would gang up on (most likely the strongest) enemy player, and then fight it out 1v1, which doesnt sound a fun design.

oh I think the question was about human players not AIs, in that case I am not sure maximum amount of teams is probably 217, or 254, both -3 because of mandatory teams (for trees rocks and animals 🤔SpellForce leftover?), or there is some other limit I do not know about.

But lobby shows only team 4 (normal PvE player or team 1 in PvP), and team 5 in case of PvP.

So something like a 4 player community map, that in reality is a 4 player PvP free for all could be doable?

if the map would be PvE all players would be in 1 team, if PvP all players would be in 2 teams.

So far there was no incentive to remove that limitation, so I have no idea how hard it would be.

So the answer to "is such a mode possible" is "theoretically probably yes, but not yet doable with the current map editor"?

oh sorry I did not even think about map editor capabilities 😛 no clue if you can edit it there. I was just talking about BattleForge capabilities.
