  1. Ohh there already is a lot regarding Empire on the forums 🙂

    Only went through the Bugs-Section and did not find that much^^

    How much happend regarding this topic?

     

    1. for Jorne getting stuck, I found a solution. I just send them to another tag. (see attached script)

    Maybe we should also teleport them to the required positions after a certain time has passed.

    2. that should be pretty easy. Would make the "twoandfourplayers" script also a bit less cluttered 🙂 
    I dont get it anyway, why they would downgrade Mo if there are less than 4 players.. and also upgrade Rogan..

    5. Regarding Kings getting killed: I guess that mechanic should stay? I am currently experimenting with ways to keep the game running and respawn Rogan/Mo if a user leaves the game. Maybe also include a Task that shows the health of all of them and says that they need to stay alive.

     

    I'd also add to the list:

    7. remove the 2 player limit. There are known ways to "jump time". And if there is a player already on the other side of the map, we should let him finish the map?

    8. somehow make it clear, that the armor can only be broken on the left side of the map

    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: this happens, because the timer that is started once the transformation starts, is not stopped if the seeker is killed. I wrote some scripts that can be added to the existing scripts, without altering them. This is tested (only by me so far). The game runs and the bug does no longer occur.

    As a bonus, I added also a file to disable the sound-outcry of "One of Urzach's minions is heading for an altar!" and "One of Urzach's minions is ready to claim a guardian spirit! This must not happen, stop him!", though by removing the TextTag, I am pretty sure this will always be in english. I guess removing the sound of 11202_15 and 11202_14 would be the preferred method 🙂

  4. So sorry for the guys I kicked out of the lobby with the crash😞

    definitly reproducable, dont even need to play the game, once there are more than 4 players (unsure if that really is needed? on other maps, <4 player-swipe didn't do anything..), swipe over the usernames, crash

  5. DESCRIPTION: After playing PTD, when I hover over one of the users, the game crashes. I caputured both crashes with ShadowPlay. I got 5 Minutes of the Match before the first crash and the whole Match before the second crash. But I think the last few seconds are most important. Please let me know, if you want to see the rest too.

    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: In the first video, you can see that I successfully hovered over one user, before I created the lobby. But the Bug happened later anyway. I tried to recreate it with a 4-player map and it seems like it doesn't happen there. But I don't know what exactly causes this, but I am guessing it has something to do with the User-Preview-Function on the "small" User-List (>4 Players in one group).

    Also: the first game desynced! I don't know if that caused the bug, because I did not see the message in the second game.

  6. DESCRIPTION: We were playing Empire, and just after we got control over Rogan, the User that had control over Rogan, left - killing Rogan and ending the Game with a "Rogan died"

  7. DESCRIPTION: Just tried to start a game of Ascension, I don't know if the leader left, or he closed the Map, but everyone was outside the Map-Group (4 Players per Group usually). Game crashed after a few seconds, there was a popup but I can't recall what it said..

  8. Alright soo,

     

    Every wave-type (Easy, Advanced, Insane) has a set amount of wave-power.

    You have an internal wave-power-pool that gets increasingly refilled every minute. Once your 5 minute timer expires, Waves are being spawned until your wave-power-pool is empty. (One Wave-Spawn reduces the wave-power-pool by the wave-power of that wave-type)


    If you start the altar, your wave-power-pool is reset to a fixed value, which results in a smaller wave power depending on when you start the altar.

    If you start the alter after a wave, there are 5 minutes of time where you gather wave-power. If you start it seconds before a wave, you reset the wave-power and that is the reason why the wave is very weak. (Not saying that this is the best strategy, since you dont have to fight against a wave at all, if you start the altar AFTER the wave :))

     

    The spawnpoints are random. Multiple spawns can occur at the same spawnpoint.

     

    By the way, guardians and thos heavy stonekin hammerfalls (and also the bandit lords) are despawned depending on the order of crystals, so your first crystal is the easiest getting harder with the next crystals.

  10. I played Encounters with Twilight the last days a few times.. Here is the whole story :)

     

    No Levels unlocked

    I Started with Standard. That disconnected me, but I got an Errormessage, sadly my Shadowplay was turned off, so I didn't got this..

    Now the second Level (Siege of Hope) got unlocked. I played this one (Standard), and again - disconnect.

    Then I've tried to do Encounters with Twilight with several different Difficulties. Advanced - no dc, Expert - no dc, Advanced again - no dc

    As soon as I've played another Standard, my Client again got disconnected.

  11. I played today the first 2 single-player maps. On the first, an error occoured, but sadly I didn't got it, because my shadowplay wasnt running ._.

    At the second, there was only that weird blackscreen, and after that a disconnect.

    Both times, I got the Gold but no PvE exp.

    Maybe the devs can reproduce the error, with resetting the level tree.. 

    EDIT: Tried to play Advanced - worked. Switched back to Standard - again disconnect.. (Everything without using Speedrun)

  13. Hi!

    My name is Benjamin, I am from Austria (the one without the kangaroos :D)

    Battleforge was the first Game I ever played and after a long time experiencing some other games, I got back to Battleforge and started playing some PvP. I dont remember my ranks but I think in PvE something diamond and PvP silver..

    I was very sad when I got the message that Battleforge will be closed, and since then I was looking for a remake, but nothing happened, and then, BFReborn :D

    Then I was very happy that there is a development part in the contest, and I started planning an Android Card app

    I hope we can play Battleforge again soon :hype:
