Just wondering; If you have no code, how do you alter the game?
We've made a tool that let us "alter" the game.

Delete complete "My Documents\Battleforge" folder and run Updater with Admin permissions, just in case.

Fixed problem after forcing the game to use Direct X 9. PvE maps no longer crash on startup or on victory.
Thanks for the info!

How do we expect us to answer when we can't even read what the error says? Translate it. We have no use from cyrillic

Yea, it was like: use Teamviewer to profit remotely

Will we ever have new content? Like new cards, features or maps?
Yea, we kinda have new features already.
- Resizeable chat windows
- Quests and achievements
- New loot list
- Upgrades are now buyable with Gold instead of Tokens
- Tokens, Elements of X, Tomes removedMore is to come once we hit Open Beta or any future iteration which is more stable than this one and doesn't require an account reset.

Hardly doable at this moment, as the server is not tracking those values, but your each individual clients are.

- downloaded, unzipped and copied over the Battleforge data package (ca. 5 GB file), listed in the support thread (by the way the first download link had a CRC checking error while unzipping the file, the second download link and zip file worked fine)
I'd highly suggest using WinRAR for unpacking the archive because players had problems with crashes and corrupt game files if they'd unzip it using Windows unzip or extract with Daemon Tools.

Hey, try to run the game in Windowed mode with somewhat a desired resolution, but not as big as you mentioned in your post.

I can't understand how can you miss a sticky announcement that's 100% stretched to the width of your browser.
I can't understand how can you miss the biggest colored message in that thread which solves this question from start.
I'm confused, please explain.

Hey. Thanks for pointing us to the spectator problem, our intention was never to prevent players from being able to spectate.
As for the building and unites being obliterated after a player leaves a match - was it like that before in vanilla/EA BatlleForge? I'm asking cause I'm pretty sure it's due to the client interpreting the leave packet on it's own way, thus destroying others' entities. We'll see what can be done, but at this moment it's not high up in the priority list.

Hey. I like this idea generally, however somehow dislike the manual upload process. In the recent months, Kubik and Blank finished our own server-sided replay generator that behaves exactly the same as the client one does. I'll see what can be done with this, maybe we can create an API that will allow you to query the generated replays and upload them automatically to the website. However, don't take this as a promise, just as a possibility in the future, if (of course) we agree upon this internally. If not, you'll have to resort to manual uploads and player submission, just like you originally thought of.

Thanks for your Cardbase, using it every day.
I saw some errors according to Linked Fire.
On Razorleaf and Living Tower only max 3 entities (on U0) are being used.
That was nerfed in 2010, so where your data comes from?
Is it possible to extract actual data from the client files?
It is. We have a closed, staff-only tool for that which won't be shared in near future (due to ability to mess up the game client/files), BUT manual extracting is also possible, though more painful process.

Wait a second, toxic/elitist behaviour is a reason to ban someone ?
Dont get me wrong, I dont like those people either, but banning or punishing them just because they are unfriendly is way over the top.
Wait a second, where exactly did Ultrakool mention someone would get banned for it?

DirectX 11 != DirectX 9.
You will still need to install DirectX 9 even if you have DirectX 11 installed.
Lmao, exactly, took me 10 seconds to come to the point where it says to force DX9. So much bout "I followed the steps".

Your booster has opened, you just haven't seen the cards. And I highly doubt you remember the exact stack number of every card you have so you just didn't notice them.
-
Lmao, if you think we're doing something malicious, don't use our executables/game and you've solved the problem.

Hey. It didn't disappear, in fact you just didn't have those cards displayed to you properly upon opening the second booster. It can happen if you open two boosters with few seconds between the openings.
Let me know if anything else similar happens or if you manage to recreate the bug.
-
The game was never designed to support 4K resolution, unfortunately we can't do anything.
-
Almost impossible to make due to how the card inventory works. We'd have to spend at least 7-10 days to make this working the way you suggested.
-
It explicitly says Open Stress Test so I don't know how can it be Open Beta.

Then let this be a Request:
1. How many active players (lets say logging in at least once a week or somewhat) are currently around?
2. How many Infect (also Mountaineer and Church of Negotiation) are currently owned by those players?
3. How many boosters are opened per day?
By the way, is this the right place for such requests?
At this point, no. From Open Beta on wards, yes we will be able to provide these details, but now they're not good representatives in my opinion.
When we hit Open Beta, just create a thread (something like "Statistical numbers megathread") and we'll work from there.

Redownload the game and unpack it with WinRAR, seems like you have corrupted game files.
