Hello Skylords, Skyladies and other Skybeings; and welcome to CCC #5 – the fifth Crappy Community Contest!

    THE CONTEST HAS ENDED.
To see the winners, CLICK HERE. If you are just here to grab the booster code, there you go:  PROP-HECY-PROP-HECY

    What are “Crappy Community Contests”?
This and future CCC's are meant to be small-scale contests with weird challenges, hopefully luring you away from well-trodden paths. They are small-scale on the organizers side too: there will be no stream, video or event announcing the winners. What's special about these contests is a participation price for the whole community.

    What, when, where, how?
While the last CCC was about prevailing under harsh conditions, this one will be the exact opposite:

    Prophecy, Prophecy, PROPHECYYY!

Mo has been chosen by the gods. All the forces of Nyn want him to become the new King
of the Fire Tribes - it falls upon you to fulfill the PROPHECY as fast as you can!

This challenge is to win the Custom 1-player-map “CCC #5 - PROPHECY!”
on Expert difficulty as fast as you can.
This custom map is a copy of the campaign map Oracle, with two “small” changes:
You will have access to 16 Orbs (4 of each color) right from the start The gods have also granted you 10,000 additional energy As you can see, for this challenge your wildest deck building dreams have come true; you may combine any cards you want! The fastest Skylord will win this challenge, in the unlikely case of a tie, the run that has been submitted earlier gets the higher placement in the ranks.
The contest has started with the release of this post – submit your entry through Discord (DM to Kapo#0116) or the Skylords Forum (DM to @Kapo) until 28.05.2022 23:59 CET  (= 7 days time total). You can submit multiple times, but only the fastest will count. Please note that the Top 3 Replays will be posted here in the forums. To reduce my workload, you may rename your file to CCC5_Time_<IGN>.pmv (e.g. CCC5_15.53.9_Kapo.pmv).
Battleforge automatically saves a replay file of every match you play, the last game is named autosave.pmv.  You can find your replays here: Documents => Battleforge => replays

    What's the price pool?
Since this is not just a Crappy Contest, but a Crappy Community Contest, you may help with your participation to earn a price for the whole Community. If we reach more than 20 participants (unique players, not entries), we will unlock a Mini-Booster code for the entire Skylords Community. If more than 30 participants enter, the code will be upgraded to a Booster instead of a Mini-Booster. So tell your fellow Skylords to try this challenge – it may take some time, but it's an occasion to try something completely new, and it raises our chances to hand out a code for everybody.
Of course, the fastest Skylords will get prices too, sponsored by myself, the Community and the Skylords Reborn Team:
1st place               5 Fire Boosters + Promo Swamp Drake
2nd place              4 Fire Boosters + Promo Rogan Kayle
3rd place              3 Fire Boosters + Promo Lyrish Knight
    4th place              2 Fire Boosters + Mo
    5th place              1 Fire Booster + Mo
    6th place              Wheel of Gifts
    7th place              Spitfire
    8th place              Core Dredge (B)
    9th place              Church of Negation
    10th place            Cluster Explosion (P)

    Last place              Juice Tank (x4)

    * Simplifying, a player who stopped playing, also donated his complete account. This is the third contest his collection is sponsoring - he expressed how nice the community is, and he wanted to give something back through the CCC.

    Special thanks and Conclusion
My very special thanks goes out to @CrazyCockerell, @Emmaerzeh and @LEBOVIN who all helped me to get this contest idea going - as it turns out, it isn't really easy to rework a campaign map into a custom map without breaking lots of stuff.
I hope you are having fun with limitless deck possibilities and loads of energy!
Good luck, give those Bandits a dose of Skylords Wrath they have never seen!

If you are interested in helping with these (or better) kinds of events for the community, or want to host one yourself, don't be afraid and simply reach out! Contact our beloved Event Managers @Minashigo Hiko and/or @Metagross31 on the forums or discord. They are happy to assist you with upcoming events and with sponsoring your prize pool!
If you especially like this small-scale-format, and you have an idea for it, you may also contact me directly to discuss your idea and host your own Crappy Community Contest.

As a map developer, you are responsible to script new official maps or alter scripts of existing maps as a cause of map balance updates. Skylords Reborn maps are created using the Skylords Reborn map editor, and the scripts are written in LUA.
    Responsibilities
    • Script new (campaign) maps
    • Work together with the Map Artists and Map Designers
    Desired traits
    • Experience with the map editor and scripting in Skylords Reborn.
    Bonus traits
    • Experience with LUA.
    • Experience modding in another game.

  5. Doomdragons liked a post in a topic by Majora in 3D Tool Developer
    3D Tool Developer

As a 3D tool developer, you are responsible to solve one of our biggest technical challenges that will boost the project to the next level: the ability to modify existing 3D models. We already have an internal tool capable of adding new cards using existing re-textured models, but we have no way to meaningfully modify the geometry, animations and special effects. You will be responsible for researching the way BattleForge represents their 3D models and develop tools and a workflow capable of modifying different aspects of those models. The ultimate goal is to be able to add new models with animations and effects never seen before. There have already been very good community efforts and already a lot is known.

    Responsibilities
    • Design and create a workflow capable of adding/altering BattleForge 3D assets.
    • Perform exploratory work to understand how BattleForge works with and represents 3D assets.
    • Collaborate, where necessary, with established artists and developers to improve the workflow outcome.
    Desired traits
    • Demonstrable programming experience.
    • Good experience with 3D file formats and their internal structure.
    • Good experience with computer graphics relevant to 3D models.
    • Comfortable analyzing a binary file using a hex editor.
    Bonus traits
    • Experience with 3D modelling tools.
    • Experience with reverse engineering.

[ Skylords Bounty: Seasonal Forge ]

A Skylords Bounty is an open-source task for the community to create something needed in one of the departments of Skylords Reborn.
If your entry gets chosen, you can win a great prize, and we will reward everyone who applies with a serious attempt with a participation reward as well.
A bounty is not a classic contest, and will run until the task is complete. We will give a heads up when the entries are about to be closed (at least two weeks in advance).

    • The Task: Seasonal Forge

For our first Skylords Bounty, we have selected the task to help us create the next Seasonal Forge.
During our December update, we gave the Forge a snowy look. Now we want to move to spring; so bring out your grass, flowers and good vibes and help us create a Spring Forge!
This is your chance to get your work into the game!

    • How to build your Forge

We know how hard it can be to begin such a big task, so we asked @Emmaerzeh to prepare a Tutorial video to help you get started!
You can find the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3InQfBSWhJ8
We will also provide you with the legacy version of the forge, which you should use as the starting point of your theme. You can download it here:
    19000_sandbox01.map

You can open the file with the map editor, which is already included in your game. It can be accessed via the file pluginbasededitor.exe in your BattleForge directory.

    • How to Apply

    • Download the Legacy forge file.
    • Watch the Tutorial.
    • Follow the restrictions below.

There are a couple of things to keep in mind while building your own spring Forge:

    Restrictions:
    1. Use the provided version of the legacy forge as your starting point
    2. Don't change the general layout, including power wells, walls and the map structure itself, like the position of the 3 spawns.
    3. Don't add any obstacles, like buildings or additional walls.

Of course you are encouraged to add assets like scenery, flowers, etc. as long as they don't block units.
We recommend using the grass assets, since the summer Force will probably be using the desert/wasteland assets.

Satisfied? Send your file on Discord (Minashigo Hiko#1126) or PM through the forum (@Minashigo Hiko)
Include your player name in the .map file, for example: "Hiko_SpringForge.map".  You can send in multiple attempts.

    • Bounty Reward

Every serious attempt will get rewarded with a participation award (limited to one per player):
    1 Nature Booster

The attempt that will be used in the game, gets the big prize (Bounty):
    1 Razorleaf PROMO
    Please note:
You are allowed to send in different attempts, but you can only earn the participation award once. The best submission (from all players) will earn the bounty.
We reserve the right to do modifications to the winning submission, if needed.

We hope the Skylords Bounty will motivate you to explore the necessary tools and skills for the different bounties and may lower the barrier to help out Skylords Reborn!

Thank you for your interest in Skylords Reborn! Here we will give you a brief overview of the project and how you can help out.

    About Skylords Reborn

Skylords Reborn is a fan-made project that revived BattleForge, a multiplayer real-time strategy and collectible card game set in the mythological world of Nyn. BattleForge was developed by Electronic Arts and released in 2009, while sadly closing its servers in 2013. In June 2015 fans started working on an unofficial revival under the name of Skylords Reborn, and in 2020 players could finally enter the Forge again.
Skylord Reborns aims to bring back all the nostalgia players remember from the original days, while also creating brand-new content, balance changes and other improvements. The team behind Skylords Reborn consist of volunteers, and is not affiliated with EA in any way. The game is fully free to play, with no microtransactions. Everyone works on this project as a labor of love in their free time.

    Open Staff Positions

As a community driven project, we constantly strive to improve Skylords Reborn and the experience for everyone involved. We cannot do this alone, and are currently looking for people to help us out in multiple positions. If you see a position you like, you can write a short application by clicking on the apply button.
When applying for a position, it is important you reflect on the desired traits mentioned, and explain how you would fulfill them. Desired traits should be considered the most required traits for that position. They should not be seen as must-haves, but we consider these traits to be essential and ideally contributors should have most of the desired traits for that position. Bonus traits are extra traits a contributor could have, but are by no means mandatory.
Listed below are desired traits that apply to all positions:
Have a Discord account or be willing to use one:
Staff members primarily communicate using Discord.
Have time to spend on the project.
As part of the team, you will also be expected to join meetings, retrospectives and actively communicate with other staff members. This will require extra time contribution on top of working on your tasks. We expect you to regularly contribute, however real life comes first, and we understand if you need to take breaks from the project. There are no hard requirements for how many hours you need to spend on the project per week, but it takes a significant amount of time to make impactful contributions.
Able to work and communicate with a team.
Teamwork and especially communication is very important for a project of this nature, considering everyone is contributing to the project in their free time. We value respect, transparency, open feedback and enthusiasm, and your values should align with those of the team.
Able to work independently and take initiative.
Every staff member contributes remotely and even though everyone helps each other as much as possible, staff members cannot always be present and ready to help.
      Able to communicate in English.
While we have staff members from all over the globe, we communicate in English.

It is important to note that everyone is contributing to the project in their free time and that none of the positions are paid.

    Contribute without joining Staff

We also have a couple of other areas where you can help out without formally joining the team.

    Community Roles
Community Roles are roles that require less commitment when compared to official roles. Tasks for these roles come and go, and they are a great way to help without receiving too much responsibility. Some examples include proofreading, voice-acting and map-testing.

    Open Source Development
Open source projects are a great way to help development of Skylords Reborn without joining staff. If you are not a developer, you can still contribute by familiarizing yourself with the applications and suggesting feature improvements.

    Greetings Skylords!
Every three weeks, we give an update on the things going on behind the scenes of Skylords Reborn. Welcome to another Community Update!

    • Soon™

Last Community Update we revealed our upcoming new achievements and ever since we get daily questions when those (and the patch in general) will hit the live server. We are currently hard at work finalizing the upcoming patch, but aren't able to reveal a concrete release date just yet.
We expect to share more information with you regarding its release in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for that.
In the meantime, we are excited to reveal a new card today!

    • New Card Reveal: Burning Spears

Burning Spears is a new tier 2 fire unit, requiring two fire orbs. Upgrading the card reduces its power cost and increases its stats. The values noted here are for U3. It will be an Uncommon and won't have an affinity.

Burning Spears is an S-sized squad unit that contains a weapon-switch similar to Ghost Spears. They will also have the Steadfast passive ability, meaning they can't be knocked back.

    Weapon Change
    Type: mode-switch
Makes unit more effective against large units instead of extra-large ones. Lasts until deactivated.

    Weapon Change
    Type: mode-switch
Makes unit more effective against extra-large units instead of large ones. Lasts until deactivated.

Burning Lance / Scorching Injury (passive ability)
Enemies hit by Burning Spear's attacks will be set on fire and take additional damage that steadily increases the longer they burn. The burn deals 2 damage per second and stacks up to 25 times. Attacked units may only walk at walk speed for 15 seconds.

    Design Goals
Burning Spears are designed as a new tool to increase deck building options in pure Fire. The faction currently has a limited pool of pure cards in PvP, leading to a very M-unit centric deck design with a limited amount of deck building options and balancing levers to change specific matchup behaviors.
The addition of Burning Spears will add a versatile small sized unit into the faction, that is supposed to help with some of the factions counter issues against L and XL units in T2, while demanding a deck slot investment in return. The passive ability enables very high backloaded damage potential to punish players that try to ignore them, whereas the slow and steadfast ability allow Burning Spears to stick to their priority targets while enabling further spell synergies with cards like Wildfire.
Please note: We are still testing the card. While we are generally happy about it and feel comfortable revealing it, numbers and effects might still change before release.

    • Artwork Spotlight

Now that our art team has grown, we tried a different approach for our creation process. The card was already play tested, so we knew its effects and that it would use the Ghost Spears model, but there were no other hard restrictions for the art.
Our artist Spirit Alpha worked together with Tweeto to explore some ideas, which resulted in multiple concept arts. They settled on a barbaric look.

The next step was to visualize the design in-game, and make sure what we had in mind would actually be possible to implement, preventing a mismatch between art and model.

Once the theme, colors and general appearance were fleshed out, it was time to start working on the artwork. Different compositions were explored again.

Spirit Alpha then handed in this artwork. While we were generally happy with how this design turned out, there were still some things to be done. While the Deep One claw was a nice touch, we found it did make the artwork more cluttered and distracted the viewer's eye. With the help of Tweeto, adjustments were also made to the background, contrast and skin, left arm anatomy, right arm shape and the spear.

After a couple of extra iterations (and lots of discussion about flames with our art critique), we finally settled on the current design. A big thanks to our artists Spirit Alpha and Tweeto for drawing the artwork, to Friendly Firefly for working on the ability icons and to our art critiques for their support and comments.
As you can see, a ton of work went into this, and we haven't even showed you half of the iterations.
We are very happy with how it turned out, and hope you like it as well!

    • Upcoming PvP changes

While PvP has a very passionate community, the game mode currently has certain flaws that prevent players from getting into it. We hope to tackle these in our upcoming patch. Here are some of the changes we will implement:

Queue will drain the BFP reserve
PvP often enters a "Spiral of Death" when too few players are online. It takes too long to find a match, so players stop queuing, which results in it taking longer to find a match... We want to give players an incentive to wait in the ranked lobby for more than a few minutes, resulting in the lobby no longer being empty and the next person who wants to play finding an opponent quickly. If you queue for at least 5 minutes, even if you don't find an opponent, you will earn BFP as if you were ingame, meaning you get BFP not just for playing, but also while searching for matches.

    Hide Player Names
We have seen that some players tend to dodge certain high ranked players while playing ranked, not queuing up when they see higher skilled opponents in the lobby. To prevent this behavior, we will hide player names in the ranked lobby. To not impact casual play, we have separated the sparring and ranked lobbies, allowing you to still invite players into your lobby and make things like tournaments and Toggy's Fightclub still possible.

    Hide Losses
Another reason that prevents players from queuing up is the fear of messing up their win/loss ratio, or even feeling shame to have their losses publicly shown on the ladder. It has been proven in other competitive games that showing losses results in demotivation and higher entry barriers. We hope this change encourages players to focus on what matters (playing the game and improving yourself) instead of stats that might not even represent your current skill level.

    New Player Protection
To protect new players from facing top players when they are just getting started, we will prevent players with <102.000 base ELO from getting matched with players at >135.000 base ELO.

    Changes to Free PvP Decks
With upcoming balance adjustments and new cards, we will update our free PvP decks to compete with the new meta. Additionally, we have made changing these decks more flexible; resulting in no longer having to reset all the free PvP decks when we make these changes.
If we update one of the free PvP decks you have currently selected, you will now have the option to either swap to the new cards, or keep your current set up. We are currently planning to make the following changes:

    Pure Nature:
    + Parasite
    - Shrine of Memory

    Fire/Nature
    + Twilight Minions (G)
    - Ghost Spears

    Pure Shadow
    + Executor
    - Nightguard

    Rebalanced 2vs2 Maps
While we mostly balance the game around 1vs1, we know players really enjoy 2vs2 as well. We are very happy with how our rebalanced 1vs1 maps turned out, and we want to give 2vs2 the same treatment.

Changes include removal (or adjustments) of walls, wells, slight changes to the layout, and making certain area's immovable for flying units. This should result in a better play experience and more balanced maps.

These maps will also have observer versions, meaning it will now be possible to host 2vs2 tournaments again! We also updated the minimaps to be accurate.

    PvP Happy Hours
A feature long in the works and finally nearing release is Happy Hours. Happy Hours are specific time periods where players will receive additional gold and BFP for playing PvP.
We have noticed PvP is currently quite scattered, with a lot of players wanting to play, but going offline again when they can't find opponents. While rewarding to queue is one incentive to have players stay online longer when the lobbies are empty, we also want to help players find opponents in general. We hope that by clustering players together during certain time frames, players will have an easier time finding matches more frequently.
Happy Hours will take place during the following times:
    - 1vs1 happy hours: 7pm-9pm CET
    - 2vs2 happy hours: 9pm-10pm CET
    - 1vs1 happy hours: 4am-5am CET

These times were decided upon by going over our available data and keeping different time zones in mind where possible. During Happy Hours, there will be an in-game announcement and the icon on the world map will indicate Happy Hours are active.

We hope to release all these features with our next patch, though Happy Hours is currently still in active development. We hope to finish it in time to be included as well.

    • Team Changes

We have a new teammember in Nukie, who has joined the team recently as a Global Moderator. Welcome, and thanks for your help!

    • Open Positions Rework

We have made some changes to our open positions and spotlighted them in their own forum section. It is now easier than ever to see the current open positions, and we also added some extra information to each role, better showcasing what you will be doing.

Skylords Reborn is always looking for motivated volunteers to help out the project. You can currently help out in multiple areas, ranging from artwork to development, map design and much more.

Want to help out but don't want to join the staff? No problem! We also have positions like proofreader and map tester where you can more easily drop in and out, helping out when you have time. Lastly, we also have open-source projects and our Skylords Bounty (see below). Please take a look!

    • Active Bounty

While we already have some nice contenders, our current Bounty to create a Spring Forge is still open. A Skylords Bounty is an open-source task for the community to create something needed in one of the departments of Skylords Reborn. • FINISHED - CCC #4
Kapo hosted another successful Crappy Community Contest© on the map Mo. Players were encouraged to play as few cards as possible to complete the map. As one of the first events to not focus on speed, this resulted in some interesting strategies. As with all CCC, the more players attend, the better the prizes are, in this case resulting in a free booster for the whole community.

    • FINISHED - Skylords Open 14
The Skylords Open returned with a blast! We saw some of the best players battle it out, with some match results that would surprise you. You can rewatch the matches here.

The event was announced, without details, via the calendar on the forum a couple weeks prior. Kapo also made 24 hours before revealing the event a post on the discord telling everyone that this event will be decided on whoever sends in their run first in case of a tie breaker.
I do however agree that this is not the most optimal way to decide a winner, especially when the event starts in the middle of the week. A lot of players play only in the weekend, or are a sleep (time-zones) for the first couple of hours when the event is reveals and because of that at a disadvantage. Of course it is impossible to please everyone, but releasing it at a Saturday, or Friday evening, would be the most "fair".
Overall I think this event was perfectly executed. From the announcement, to the in-game advertising everyday, to giving out the rewards within 24 hours of the event deadline. All the praise to Kapo for this. Great job!

Thank you Kapo for this fun contest and for the detailed summary!
If I should ever get kicked out of a team again for having a "too weak" deck to play on expert, I will simply send them my replay of my D12 (two common cards) Mo expert run 😄.
    Upwards and onwards!  🏆

Its not really about being good or bad at the game, it also was some Test of Tenacity. If you put your mind to the task, this challenge is doable.
Here are the Replays of the Top 5 winners:
    CCC4_2_Bobishere.pmv CCC4_2_Gam3over.pmv CCC4_2_Mati.pmv CCC4_2_MephistoRoss.pmv CCC4_2_Trando.pmv
I also just sent out all prices.

This concludes all business concerning the Crappy Community Contest #4.

Hello again Skylords, Skyladies and other Skybeings; it's time to announce the winners!
First of all, I’d like to thank everyone for making the Crappy Community Contest #4 happen – no matter in what way: participation, sponsoring prizes, spreading the word or helping me to organize it.
In total, we reached a total number of 48 participants – thanks to the Skylords Team for sponsoring the code: CCC4-MOMO-MOMO-MOMO

    Top Skylords of CCC #4:
    1st place          MephistoRoss
    2nd place         Trando
    3rd place          Mati
    4th place          Gam3over
    5th place          Bobisphere
    6th place         Doomdragons
    7th place         cacolamo
    8th place         Dyr
    9th place         Mocaak
    10th place       Maert
They all reached the same score of 2 Points, so the time of the submission was the deciding factor. In all cases the two cards used were a tower for (air) defense activating Mo (Blaster Cannon, Lifestealer, Primal Defender) and an T3-unit for attacking (Swamp Drake, Northland Drake, Lost Horror). The fastest of these submissions was Mocaak with a time of 27m43s.

    Winners of the Random Draws:
    Draw 1      Reverend830        Enlightenment
    Draw 2      Ponni                    Enlightenment
    Draw 3      RipHunter             Infect
Draw 4      Endan                   Avatar of Frost
    Draw 5      CuriousnTT           Disenchant (G)
    Draw 6      General_Thugdil    Amii Monument
Draws 7-11 for a Bandit Booster each: erks, Vornskr666, Eirias, hauclir and Blaragha
Furthermore, the bounty for the 1-card-run (that wasn't claimed) go to the best placed Skylords who didn't receive anything.
One Banzai Lord (G) each: Kuuhaku, Ultor, Brand, AhRiMaN_MK,  Midra, XxBlueFirexX, Stachino and Wanky.
I will send you the prizes as soon as possible through in-game mail.

    In conclusion
I think we reached a respectable amount of participants for a one-week challenge, and I received a lot of positive feedback for mixing things up and trying to come up with something new. Since different kinds of challenges and rules appeal to different Skylords, I’m happy to see new names in the list of the Top 10. So, thanks again to all who took part in this contest, and a special thanks to the sponsors: @Simplifying, @Odessa, @Donaar, @Kemek, @Bozzah and the Skylords Reborn Team.
CCC #5 has already been discussed with the Event Managers, and will be more towards a fast and easy challenge again.
If you have a crappy idea for future CCC's you may share and discuss that with me, maybe you can host your own Crappy Contest! Feel free to contact me anytime. If you want to discuss or host a non-crappy contest, contact our Event Managers Minashigo Hiko and/or Metagross31. They are super supportive and will help you to organize your event!

Hello Skylords, Skyladies and other Skybeings; and welcome to CCC #4 – the fourth Crappy Community Contest!

    THE CONTEST HAS ENDED.
To see the winners, click here. If you are just here to grab the booster code, there you go:  CCC4-MOMO-MOMO-MOMO

As mentioned above, the idea of the CCC's is to present you with new and fresh challenges. This one will not be about speed, but about map and card knowledge, strategy/creativity and maybe also tenacity to work through an expert map under harsh conditions:
    Mo Card Count

While the Masters of the Forge are improving the power of all Skylords, the fire of the Forge burns low.
You are asked to use as little of its power as possible.

For this challenge, win the 1-player-map “Mo” on Expert difficulty
with as few cards of as low rarity as possible.

For each card you use, you will get points depending on the rarity:
Common: 1 Point Uncommon: 2 Points Rare: 3 Points Ultra Rare: 4 points  Note: It does not matter how often you play out a card, only the cards in the deck are used to determine your points.

The Skylord with the lowest number of points will win this challenge. In the case of a tie, the run that has been submitted earlier gets the higher placement in the ranks. Replays with more than 15 cards are not eligible for this challenge (cards used, not points) – so you can't submit just your usual Mo Expert run.
Submit your replay together with the following information:
In game Name: <your name> Deck: <screenshot or names of the cards used>    Points total: <number of points scored> You can find your replays here: Documents => Battleforge => replays
The contest has already started – submit your entry through Discord (DM to Kapo#0116) or the Skylords Forum (DM to @Kapo) until 11. 05. 2022 23:59:59  (= 8 days time total).
You can submit multiple times, but only the one with the lowest points will count. Please note that the Top 5 Replays will be posted here in the forums. To reduce my workload, you may rename your file to CCC4_Points_<IGN>.pmv (e.g. CCC4_12_Kapo.pmv).

    What is the prize pool?
Since this is not just a Crappy Contest, but a Crappy Community Contest, you may help with your participation to earn a price for the whole Community. If we reach more than 15 participants (unique players, not entries), we will unlock a Mini-Booster code for the entire Skylords Community. If more than 25 participants enter, the code will be upgraded to a Booster instead of a Mini-Booster. So tell your fellow Skylords to try this challenge – it may take some time, but it's an occasion to try something completely new, and it raises our chances to hand out a code for everybody.
Of course, the Skylords with the lowest points will get prices too, sponsored by the SR Team, the Community and me:
1st place               5 Bandit Boosters + Mo + Promo Swamp Drake
2nd place              4 Bandit Boosters + Mo + Promo Rogan Kayle
3rd place              3 Bandit Boosters + Mo + Promo Lyrish Knight
    4th place              2 Bandit Boosters + Mo
    5th place              1 Bandit Boosters + Mo
    6th place              Wheel of Gifts
    7th place              Worldbreaker Gun
    8th place              Mine
    9th place              Overlord
    10th place            Jorne

    Last place            Juice Tank (x4)

Special Bounty   Be the first to win the Map with only one card to earn 8 Banzai Lords (G)!

For participation, there is a random chance to win one of the following cards:
Random Draws          5x1 Bandit Booster, Enlightenment, Infect, Avatar of Frost, Disenchant (G), Amii Monument

    Sponsors
If one or more mighty Skylord(s) decides to sponsor this event, please contact me. I would be more than happy to beef up or expand the prize pool, add additional random draws, or any other upgrades to the prize pool.
The following prices have been sponsored so far:
Skylords Team        Bandit Boosters (x20), Community Booster Code
Kapo                      Promo Swamp Drake, Promo Rogan Kayle, Promo Lyrish Knight
Simplifying *           Enlightenment, Infect, Avatar of Frost, Disenchant (G), Amii Monument, Wheel of Gifts, Worldbreaker Gun, Mine, Overlord, Jorne
    Odessa                  Mo (x5)
    Donaar                  Juice Tank (x4)
    Kemek1                 Enlightenment
Bozzah                   Banzai Lord (G) x8 (as a Bounty, see above)

    * Simplifying, a player who stopped playing, donated his complete account. This is the second contest his collection is sponsoring - he expressed how nice the community is, and he wanted to give something back through the CCC.

    In conclusion
I know this contest is somewhat harder and might be a little more time-consuming than the previous CCCs – be assured there are plans for CCC #5 to be easier again. My hope is that you still like this new kind of challenge as something worthwhile to explore. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
    Good luck and best regards,
    Kapo

    Future Contests - get involved!
If you are interested in helping with these (or better) kinds of events for the community, or want to host one yourself, don't be afraid and simply reach out! Contact our beloved Event Managers Minashigo Hiko and Metagross31 on the forums or discord. They are happy to assist you with upcoming events and with sponsoring your prize pool!
If you especially like this small-scale-format, and you have an idea for it, you may also contact me directly to discuss your idea and host your own Crappy Community Contest.

I really like the variety this event adds to the contests!
Not being among the fastest players in the community, I see my time to shine here (potentially, he said 🙂).
And I wanted to thank all the great players and staff members, who contributed to the prize pool! I appreciate it very much! Hopefully I can join your ranks one day too 😄.

I absolutely agree with you! The Bandit Commander should not "resurrect" once you manage to destroy it.
On the other hand, if it manages to flee through the tunnel while the Banits panic, it makes sense to me that he returns at the end, maybe even if you destroy the Raven Battleships quickly 😉. Just a thought.

I really wonder why there was no thread for Mo 😃

There is one point I would heavily suggest to change: If you kill the Walker, it shouldn't respawn - no matter which difficulty. It is presented on this map as a "special boss" option, and once you kill it, it shouldn't come back.
