    • DESCRIPTION: The category text for Shadow/nature does not fit within the boundaries, cutting of the upper and lower half of the words.

    • ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: I would suggest to delete the category as a whole. As there is only a single card fitting that category (which isn't even enabled atm) I don't see the point in keeping it. It would be better to add Amii Phantom to the "Nature" and the "Shadow" category in my opinion.
    • NAME: Forest Elders active ability gets shown twice when attacked

    • REPRODUCIBILITY: Reproducable. Let a unit attack Forest Elder then use it's ability.
    • DESCRIPTION: If Forest Elder gets attacked by any unit (irrelevant if small or large) and the ability gets activated then the heal effect is shown twice for Forest Elder. It does not heal twice as much though, so only one heal effect is active.

  1. @Shotty First of all I think this thread would fit better in the "New Player Help and Guides" section as it is a guide to deck building.
    Besides that I think you should only refer to the elements as colours once (so everyone knows which colour is which element) but only refer to the elements after that, seeing as it is the norm in the forums to talk about the elements rather than the colour. It also helps as multiple-colour factions don't have to be addressed as blue-green or such.
    Additionally you might want to rework the introduction to the guide. At the moment it is quite confusing. It would be better to start with something like:
    "There are 4 different colours/elements that are used by 8 different factions." "Pure nature (green) is focusing on crowd control (CC) and healing spells. The units tend to be strong but expensive." "Bandits are a mixed orb faction using fire and shadow trying to combine the advantages of both elements." etc...
    I hope you get the idea. It is better to understand if you explain it via the factions rather than the elements and do it in one sentence for each faction.

    @Akula While I do agree with you and Treim that decks using more than 2 elements can be very strong indeed, but you are giving a lot of information about Enlightenment that is misleading as well as your only argument to use more than 2 elements. :( Giving a specific cost isn't relevant anymore as the whole BFP system will be redone from scratch. I too think it will be an expensive card again but that is just a hypothesis. It also restricts the player to pure nature until T3. So the first third to half of many games they won't get to use the effect of the card at all.
    Your example with the harvester is also not helpful. Harvester is only great because he is available at T2. At T3 there are far more and better cards to play. Especially with Enlightenment you are enabled to play T4 cards that are just massively better than Harvester. Sorry but I think you should rethink what you have written and consider how this might give new players false hope.

    Still Enlightenment does open up a lot of possibilites but newbies shouldn't build their deck around it. To effectively build a deck with Enlightenment you need to have a basic knowledge of what cards there are and how they work.

  2. Count me interested. Might want to contribute to the PvE part. I wasn't one of the pros but beat more than half of the maps on expert (without access to all cards at U3 or looking up guides online) and played rPvE at the 8 difficulty, sometimes 9 (depending on the teammates).

    So while that is not very impressive I am at least a bit experienced and would like to maybe contribute to the youtube channel on the English/German side. Eventually I might even get into Twitch but I don't know about that yet.

  3. @Peter420 Using a full quote when it contains a video is really bad to see what you want to point out, especially when you put your question into the quote as well.
    If you keep a better overview it is easier for those who want to help to get back to you.

    They do not have a release date set but we hope that (with a good chunk of luck) the game will be released in december or in early 2016. The only date given is currently for the closed Alpha which is estimated to start at the 30.09. Please read the FAQ regarding that or ask in chat if you have any questions.

  4. Up to 9 quests will be allowed to stack up, so you could leave the game for 3 days and not miss out on any Daily Quest rewards. If there are any quests stacking up that you are not interested in as a player or can't seem to complete, you can remove this quest from the board, gaining no BFP whatsoever, and make more room for new quests.

    In order to give a little freedom in case a player doesn't like a quest, one quest can be re-rolled per day. This re-roll will result in the non-preferred quest to be exchanged for a random other quest from the Generic type, but will only net the player 75% of the BFP reward they would have been able to obtain by completing the original quest.

    So the quests can stack up but the amount of re-rolls doesn't? Is that correct?
    And removing probably means that the quest won't be exchanged for another (like a re-roll would) I assume. It's not that difficult to understand but I want to make sure I got it right.
    Well it's not a bad system. With the stacking it will be way better than before.

  5. The alpha will start with 20 players and will increase by 10 per week. Once it reaches 200 members the closed beta will start.

    I don't believe that is true. They think that the release of the game might be possible this year even. If they still plan on doing a close Beta then the Alpha would need to be finished before december at least.

  6. Especially if players are lead to endeavour in game modes they dislike just to get enough rewards to keep them afloat. Which MMOs don't tend to do, or rely on a large playerbase instead.

    I still think they should enable players to be able to choose only PvE daily quests, etc. Although this time I will be active not only in PvE but starting with PvP as well, generally it is just annoying when games try to force you to play every mode they got. Some people simply don't like PvP and for others it's PvE. Noone is really "forced" to play both but you have to take a massive disadvantage if you don't. Even with the quest reset you get once per day is bothersome as you do have the chance to get a quest for the same game mode you didn't want.

    For the casual gamer problem this won't help in any way though.

  7. @Ilsyde It was already stated that you won't be able to gain any kind of advantage or currency by donating. If they do give a reward to donators it will be solely a cosmetic one or the like. This was mentioned on the stream.

    Also I don't think we will be able to completely negate the problem @Twinson mentioned. By implementing a soft cap it might be improved but not solved. Other than that it is just not possible as we can't determine how much time a certain individual got every week to play. But it is the same with other games, especially MMO's and I don't see a problem with it anywhere else. Of course you can often spend money to skip forward but there are also cases where that isn't possible and it is not a problem there.

    Also another question: Am I allowed to participate in PvE? I really want to, but I can see all the replays and would have an advantage...

    If you are in the jury then of course not (except if you enter non-competitive and therefore give up a chance on the rewards).
    But I suggest to ask the dev/mod team to form a jury out of them and maybe a few PvP/PvE/rPvE veterans.

    I would like to see a Bloodhorn promo.

    I think so too but still I'd love for them to make the Worldbreaker Gun promo. :wub: Frost having a building promo is only logical. :D
    My suggestion for stonekin would be aggressor/rageflame as they already have the grinder promo.
    Lost souls should probably have a promo of their beloved LSS. I'd think the Lost Shade would look quite cool as a promo.

    For bandits it'd have to be Bloodhorn. Corsair would be my other suggestion (as Soulhunter is a copy of Harvester that already got a promo).
    For twilight Skycatcher would look pretty cool. Don't know which of the other ones is a good choice. Nightshade Plant could be nice.

  10. For now I'll just stick to PvE but maybe I will get in on the PvP just for fun. :D

    @bobfrog Wouldn't it be possible to finance the prices by making an entrance fee? Something small like 5-10BFP. But it would be enough to give a reward to the winners that is worth a few boosters. This might be only feasible for PvP with the registration here but it could also be done for PvE (if the entrants send the BFP together with the replay).

    Tomes are considered a core feature and will most likely return, yes.

    Anything about the form they will return in? Is it the original tomes from the early BF or the rented ones that were available later?
