  1. Oh wow! Perfect timing on the community map stuff, as I was wanting to try making my own maps! Loving the path forward, keep up the good work!
  2. I was keeping up with that conversation, and I didn't see anyone be outwardly rude to you. Everyone just had their own point of view on your predicament. With that said, I do agree that all this could be pretty much fixed if there was a way to add an extra bullet point to defend the shard at the end, although it could also be said that it's supposed to be a sneak attack in design and story, even if it's cheap for players trying it blind for the first time.
  3. I dont think it's fair to say that the pvp balance is in shambles just because 1 card seems to be overpowered.
  4. What are some cards? I went through the balance changes and all I'm seeing is that Stone Tempest received a minimal 10 cost raise.
  5. Weren't stonekin cards always more expensive cost-wise on average? Or did I miss a change? Also I remember Bandits before the new cards were really underwhelming. I do think there will always be a disconnect between the casual playerbase and top players. I've seen it in League of Legends and Overwatch, where game balanced is determined by proplay. Anyways, I don't play pvp yet so I won't comment any further on it, but the changes to pve content have been amazing and fun.   6. Is there a way to add a placement # ranking to make it easier to see what place I'm in and how many people there are total?

I was thinking about adding an extra effect like a leftover poison cloud or maybe a knockback AOE around the unit (double corpse effectiveness sounds fun too), but I think sometimes the simplest designs might just be the best in terms of understanding and using the card. My main comparison to MC was to make it cheaper, but this kind of effect really can't be too cheap.
  8. I have many cards ideas to share, but one that has been a constant in my mind is Void Maw. I really like the idea of a one-shot mechanic, but I believe Void Maw falls under the bar in terms of playability. My main issue with the card is that it comes out way too late. By the time you're at t4, you have so many more ways of dealing with units, that Void Maw becomes too much of a liability having to micro it to deal with a single unit.   9. So I know I missed the new card contest, but an idea came to me playing around with the new (awesome) Raven Walker. Since the Amii are all about subverting balance in effects, what if they had a tier 3 spell that functioned similarily to Aura of Corruption, but playing cards in the aura would heal allies within instead of hurt, or something along those lines? I do think the concept has a lot of potential to be a flavorful Amii effect, and it could definitely require like, 1 nauture, 1 shadow and a hybrid N/S orb and cost 150 power.   13. Twilight finally getting the love it deserves in the transformation buffs is one of the biggest things I've been wanting since I first saw the mechanic haha. Awesome new cards and changes, really feels like all the nooks and crannies of Battleforge are being cleaned up thoroughly! Absolutely love it all!

  18. I think the topic is being overblown to a large degree. Nocap, did anyone ACTUALLY use either card at all? Is anyone actually nostalgic for them to any degree? If I had to choose with whether I agree or disagree with the change, I'd go with agree, because I'd rather not worry about the image bothering anybody at all. @Fimion If you feel like "wokeness" is going to ruin Battleforge, what do you actually mean? I quite dislike the term, because it tends to be used in a way that undermines the important aspects to the movement that haven't been commercialized for profit. What about the image
  19. There is a difference between settling with a working strategy, or using the strategy that is fun for you. If all the cards you enjoy playing or want to play with are locked behind either a lottery system or an extremely high grind wall, then that will detract from the experience overall for new players. I don't really think we have the luxury of that for the most part either, being a niche game and all.
  20. So you're saying you liked shamans going for 800+ bfp? I'm being a little shit for that statement haha, but I just like how this let's people gather more of a collection potentially faster while letting people with much fuller collections have something to do. Also, there are still pretty large gaps between useful cards and not useful card, but I'm sure it can be tweeked a little bit to have rares and mythics still be a bit... rarer? As is, I love the mechanic, plus I love more lottery-esque stuff that really gives me that rush of adrenaline. 😄
  21. Why does it nullify the system? I for one really enjoy the aspect of being able to get rid of all my extra commons laying about catching dust. Idk if you thought you get to CHOOSE what you want, but it's a tiny random lottery that seems very fair so far with my testing.
  22. Absolutely amazing new patch! I'm actually speechless, so many things people have been eagerly waiting for have finally come! Definitely going to hop back on and try everything out!
  23. Excellent as per usual, and new support for the underwhelming archetypes is always exciting! I can already see Bandit Minefield helping bandit t2 in rpve by a bunch!
