  2. terible would be with best case `O(n²)`, but this is worse than `O(n³)` MrXLink said he want the game in unchanged state, so convince him (and rest of team) this is good change, becaus balancing cards is not in his opinion.
  3. yes there is, and I working on it (throw whole EA binary away, and use something less broken), but do not expect it any time soon. Well I did not say it would be a big issue for most people, but there are people that play on .... (I do not have word for that, it can not be a PC ) that already have problems with increasing amounts of cards (not even trying all on test server). I personally would have no problem to say minimum requirements are bit highrer, (because you run it on higher resolution, and with more background apps) and if you have performance problem buy better HW, but I do not think that would go well with rest of the team, but fell free to try I just asked if you are aware it would be noticabe with more cards, but depends how fast they would be added of course
  4. actually adding "skins" would not be that hard (from technical point of view) BUT IT WOULD be different unit which have its own problems. I am definitly against forcing people to rely on RNG, not against option to try luck with RNG. Making boosters untradeable would remove the choce from players that do not want to rely on RNG. I am in favor of tax on auctions. I am in favor of different boosters. I have no idea what "tarkov" is.
  5. you would be suprised how many people open boosters, even thou a lot of people suggest otherwise. If you want boosters untradeable, I have one condition, remove RNG from them, so only question is: how to determine content of booster without RNG? Inflation means prices of everything will increase by similar %. But we are not there yet which suggest it is not that bad. Do you have an idea for BFP sink? (anything that eats )

  7. I just reapeat same question are you avare that game using very crappy sorting (unfortunatelly I can not say crapiest I ever seen ) that will very negatively affect performance if you will have more cards in collection?

There are other games that tried that, and result was new players was sponsoring welthy players, not the other way around. "-play 1 pvp game, 1 rpve game, and 1 campaign game" I still think it forces players to play game modes they do not want. Sugestion to fix: alternative condition to play much more games in game mode they want. But that still seems very exploitable "-place 20 cards on auction" your outcame is only one of 3 that would happen, you would see very expensive cards for 3 so welthy players would be able to get them for cheap, and cards offered for 100 000 or more, because player want that card back. If there would be bonus for actually selling the card it would limit the second problem, but would make the first one worse. "-play 10 sunstriders, forsaken, ..." that forces people to create 4 color deck start game spawn 10 units destroy orb, kill units, and start another color, because for many players especially "sunstriders, and forsaken" are useless in combat. "How did you get that statistic" all players that was online in last 7 days, and total average. "If people are playing standard campaign maps, they can play basically anything they want." not true, you have probably no idea how easy it is to lose standard map with fully upgraded cards after hour or two. Why you think PvP results will be affected by cards?
  9. interesting is that you can continue playing, untill you do alt+tab. If the launcher would be already crashed you would lost connectin to the server instantly, because Launcher provide the connection to the server. can you plese send log next time it happen (or from last time if you know when it happen) logs are in documents: `Documents\BattleForge\Diag\_launcher_log_YYYY.MM.DD_X` where YYYY.MM.DD is date and X is the highest number for latest log
  10. I already agreed that having 100 unique cards would not be that big problem, but having 100 cards I can play would be. With Fire/Shadow it is hard to get to T2 even with fully upgraded cards on standard. If you play every day and complete 1 or 2 quests you are already way above average. Why you think average player play PvP at all? unfortunatelly "encourage players to play with larger variety of cards which is good thing" can be also said as "force players to play with cards that prevent them enjoying the game"
  11. lets count new player start: first day nothing, second day nothing, third day nothing, fourth day he finally complete the quest play 2,5 hours -> 3 boosters = 81 cards (assuming no duplicates). after that player get normal quests, so it rake 6-8 playing games to reach 100 cards by opening boosters, which is bit better than I think. But which colors can new player use? Frost do no damage. Fire dies instantly. Shadow is weird and week. Nature does damage, have heals so the units does not die that often. So it would force them to play these bad colors, and not win the match, because they would have these week colors. So they would need to chose do they want to win, or lose and progress with the quest? Average active players play less than 1,5 games per day (that average include all speedrunners). So it means that for most players it would be over 5 days, even if they would manage to create 5 playable decks with 100 unique cards. I can not even imagine players keeping track of deck they already used for more than a week without a notes. Sorry it still sound to me like quest for expert players, that play all colors that can just complete is as part of their normal play without even creating many decks for it. And normal players would need to chose if they want to play to win for one quest, or lose for quest they will need to play at least 5 other matches to. And playing all 20 cards from deck every match seems insane.
  12. What about people that do not have 100 cards, and play less than one game per day, because for them is hard to win standard map under 2 hours? I do not know about you but there is a lot of players that would not have big problem if the deck would have only 10 slots, or even less, because they do not even use these cards, so to me it seems kile forcing people to play 90 cards they do not have, and do not want to play. And again how should someone keep remembering what cards they already played to not waste 2-3 hours with same deck as last week.
  13. few problems with that idea first of all why you think most players get anyhing close to to 1050 ? Most people are not able to finish both quest in single day. Imagine someone will open expensive card in a booster sell it, and before chosing what to do with that much he get hit with the tax, he did not even know about. What about players that actively trade and rotate over 100 000 per week, but do not have much at any given moment, they will not be hit wit that tax at all? What about in mails? What about in AH bids? Imagine another situation players start a trade one want to buy a card, and just finished a quest so he have enough, but before they both accept he get hit with the tax, so he no longer have the amount it say in the trade window, so the trade will fail and game crash for both players. `Disenchant or a reroll (1 from 3) would be nice but it is just not possible as i know.` why it would not be possible? Did I understand it correctly that you propose BOT that exchange cards that no one want for up to 50 ? If that would be the case it would divide people to two groups, one that know about the bot and buy the cards for up to 49 and the other that would be happy they sold trash for 3 ... one of these groups would profit much more on it.
  14. My main problem with this is that it would be quest that can be completed under hour, or in a weeks, so it will again widen the gap between the players. The fastest of current quests can be done in about 3 minutes, but global average per game mode reach 137 minutes. That means some people can have quests completed instantly and for some it will takes multiple days. Adding quest that would take some players weeks to complete is not a good idea in my opinion. And one more inmortant thing is that some people do not even have 100 cards. Imagine someone working on that quest second week, do you think that person will remember which cards was already used, and which not?

Well not all promos are equal to "base" card fully upgraded some of them does not seem too hard, because they have name and description in all 4 languages, some stats, some of U0, U1, U2, U3 versions are mostly missing "https://discordapp.com/channels/604212371828899851/621193491233505281" here I created channel long ago, because people was asking about that specific card, I am not 100% sure, I would need to find the conversation from back then, or check it again, but I think U2 version was working in game, and the other versions was missing some things, and have weird number (like 0,00001 less or more HP than U2)
  21. @macabi I am not going to post all of them it would be too long, but I marked some you might recognize, you just can not have these card in collection. 528 is wrong, I do not know which cards you miss, but when I check obtainable cards on server I get 523 excluding promos and 540 without filter.
