  1. maybe it is the way they are cut? Because we did not want to include rest of the window, because it does not carry any additional information, and would just eat up a lot of space, and force us to have the relevant area smaller (compared to size of page)

Last few days I was thinking about some "non technical" document that would be delivered by updater to the game files in all 4 languages, so everyone would be able to read it, but no exact plan for that yet, so no help with exact keywords ๐Ÿ˜ž I originally have also true and false, but when I start adding translations I think I simplify it, to just 0 and 1, that is same in all languages, and all could hopefully understand it (now I know it was not the best option). So in some future patch more options will be added. So instead of just 1 all these will be accepted: "1", "t", "y", "yes", "true", "j", "w", "ja", "wahr", "o", "v", "oui", "vrai", "ะด", "ะธ", "ะดะฐ", "ะธัั‚ะธะฝะฐ" and instead of just 0 all these: "0", "f", "n", "no", "false", "nein", "falsch", "non", "faux", "ะฝ", "ะป", "ะฝะตั‚", "ะปะพะถัŒ" also promo, flying, ranged, melee, will accept both : and = Well for text searches there is a difference between : and = and there is also ? To me using : feels more natural in this context than = but when I think about it I have no clue why ๐Ÿ˜„ "evolved" UI ๐Ÿค” what you mean by that? they show what is live right now, there was no change to the UI, all the buttons are on same positions as they was before, and no additional button was added. The only difference being that to the box where you would originally writ part of the cards name and hope it is unique enough, you can write these more complicated strings, that will filter by other things, than just name. no mention of an upcoming overhaul ๐Ÿ˜ฎ that part get kind of lost. But well there is one mention of it: But that is no excuse, for not mentioning it more explicitly that it is planned at some point ๐Ÿ˜ž but not soon. This feature should be live alongside the Anniversary Patch on the 18th of December. ๐Ÿ˜‡ Well at the time the document was written, or when this community update was written, and even 18th after lunch it was not exactly clear what will make it to the patch, and what not ๐Ÿ˜ž so no one bothered to update such small detail in the document, and I am sure no one even have time to think about it back then.
  3. @Nagrach do you think we can make it "somehow" more user friendly, before the UI rework? I also noticed, that non English players, might not even read the English only document, so they might not be aware of this filtering at all, even thou it is in all 4 languages. ๐Ÿ˜ž

  7. there is config.json, instead of config.xml. The config.xml is there only because editor requires it to exist

  9. ๐Ÿค” what "hostility"? I personally do not like the reforging, so I do not need to hear how people like it. Position of "Balance Developer" does not require any technical knowledge, and usually applicants get to try it before their application is being processed. It just need crazy amount of time per card. And there are 1000s of cards. I did not ask about position of designer that have more to do with re-balancing the cards. I would say these positions also not require highly technical knowledge (depending on how you categorize math). I hope it will not sound aggressive to you (again), but how you can judge a concert if you are not musician? All concerts I heard in television was just some people doing noise, no useful information, no fun, so I have no clue why would anyone want to watch that. And to be honest I feel the same about any soccer game, you get score, so you know who win, what else would you want to judge one it?

  11. That was not always the case even before. I already change it to exclude splashes with not selected colors, but not sure, when will be next patch. Well this is bug on my side ๐Ÿ˜ž There is limit that you can search only for up to 500 cards, but by adding the advanced filtering options, some filters check specifically for U3 versions of the card (and because U0, and U3 are different cards) I forget to add filter to collect only base ids, so without additional filters it can easily be over 500 ๐Ÿ˜ž It is fixed, but not sure when will be next patch. ๐Ÿค” what resolution are you playing on? Originally there was supposed to be some UI rework at the same time, but not enough people, so it get pushed to next patch, because it should not affect most resolutions.

  15. fixed client so it can handle up to 127 mails after next patch. (It is still up to server to chose any number that is not higher than this. I guess something round like 120?)

I do not see any obvious screw up on EA's side for this, and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 (is that correct?) is more than capable of DX, and based on no one ever having this issue before, I can guess only that some update on your PC break it to the point that it thinks the GPU supports DX 11 and at same time maximum shader model that was obsolete in 2001. But as I said, only a guess. One more guess, does your CPU have integrated GPU? maybe they fight over the screen, and BF is incapable of choosing.

  19. can you put this file to game's directory (same folder as `BattleForge.exe` and `LauncherTest.exe`), and run `LauncherTest.exe` proxy-test.dll
  20. based on your description I would more likely guess ti to be an network issue. But what I can say for sure is that it have nothing to do with .net, because game itself does not use .net.

Why you think someone would ask you about minimum requirements? I am more worried, we will need to add maximum requirements at some point.
  23. kind of ๐Ÿ˜ž it is much more complicated than that, and I do not really follow what was released yet to main server and what not. But simplification can be that 1280 mean allow DX 11 or lower, 1025 mean allow DX 10.1 or lower, 1024 means allow DX 10 or lower, 768 means DX 9.0c (or lower part get really complicated here) And one thing we changed is default value in case the number is not know by BF, from fallbacking to 768 (DX 9.0c), to 1280 (up to DX 11). (so using 65535 result in either 768, or 1280, based on if that change is live already) problem is that all of these implementations are broken and crash for some people, so there is no value that would work for everyone ๐Ÿ˜ž
