  1. Which DirectX version is installed on your system? You need DirectX version 9 in order to launch the game.

If you have installed this version, try renaming or deleting your config.xml settings file in your Documents\Battleforge directory.

If this also doesn't help, try to reextract the downloaded RAR archive (the game itself) and put in all the Updater files. Also add an exclusion to your anti virus for the BattleForge "installation" directory.

It's flipping again, it seems it's all good. My first try had Amii monument, one green Lost Dragon and a purple one : )
BTW Promo are mixed (lol) and all the cards should be devided by series, no?

We will split them into multiple different packs in the future when the game is out. But I can't tell you if we add this feature to the simulator. We will see.

But i thing in the future it could by very funny to have some charts or reports about the played games / cards.
    Something like:
    -
Which is the most played card
    -          Which card are the most sold one in the market
    -          Which are the cards that every one has 100 times in there collection

(could also be interesting for balancing)

These are statistics which will not be affected by the GDPR, hence we're able to do such things. I'm currently coding an API for our Administration Tool but it could also be used as some sort of manager for your personal account when it's up an running and when I implemented the user functionality. It does take time though, but it also doesn't make any sense to produce some charts before the final release of the game.

  4. It shouldn't affect us because it is most about saving personal data. Since we don't have a shop where anyone could buy things with real life money or anything else, we shouldn't have a problem. There's no system on our servers where we would save your personal data at all. Maybe there's some logging of IPs, yeah. But we have no access to your private/personal data like name, address, date of birth, ... with which we could gain money.

But maybe @MrXLink could make a little research about this concern.

When we'll start the open beta, we'll share our launcher on the forum, you'll just have to download it, and place it in the client you can already pre-download, and then just start it to be able to play :)

I want to add something since he asked about the closed beta.

You only have the chance to get into closed beta if you pay attention on the giveaways which will start at the 1st of February. There's no other way. But closed beta doesn't mean, that you can fully play the game since it will be still in development until open beta. So it could happen every day until open beta that the servers will get shut down to fix some things.

All forum users will be able to join the open beta though.

Really hope the client itself (not the launcher from skylords reborn, i mean the battleforge client) is getting uploaded soon, because it is really shitty with downloads here..talking about under 200kb/s

    Wow. That's really bad. :(

When the file size is approximately 5GB as packed archive it would take roundabout 7 hours to download the game (with HD textures). Without HD textures it would still be roundabout 3 hours.

I expected that in Hagen would be better access to the internet though. Maybe there's another problem? Or is it just an old contract?
