Just afraid of any changes because of no reason or do you have any constructive feedback?

Where does he talk about being afraid? There's no need to be toxic towards people who just joined the forums...

Maybe he's talking about the Bad Harvest speedrun rewards? Or Convoy cheese strats? There's always gonna be cheese strats, exploiting game mechanics is fair game to me, but actual glitches should be fixed obviously.

At this point we can only speculate on what he meant... I would always give such people the benefit of the doubt first, although his other thread does appear like he's just here to vent 😄 Hard to believe the contrary if he doesn't follow up with concrete examples...

Umm... I don't think I am one offering for the additional challenge? 🙂 Maybe down the road and I have hosted an event in the old days but at this point, I don't feel ready for it yet. I wonder if @Bozzah would be willing to entertain one card challenge and the person with the lowest point wins (or number of Banzai Lord [G] won is inversely proportional to number of points, up to 4 to be awarded in total)? 🙂

heh I will try to think of something funny and then I can toss in a decent reward for a challenge on its own 😉 those 4 banzai lords were just a fun bet for Kapo's CCC 😄

Not sure if this is a joke or an official sponsoring offer 😉

If you want, I can add you to the list of sponsors as a "Bounty" Type if someone makes it.

it's a bet, and I raise it to 8 Banzai Lords G 🙂 I am convinced that a 1 point run is impossible. If someone proves me wrong then I will for sure enjoy that replay 😄

All summon abilities which can permanently and significantly bypass the population cap will be removed. This is less principally a balance issue than a performance issue.

BattleForge is an old game and only so efficient. Additionally, a good amount of our players play the game on older hardware. This contributes to substantial amounts of lag and frequent crashes when playing with people running Twilight Bug and Satanael decks. Even I, who have a top tier PC, regularly crash whenever I play with someone using either of these two deck archetypes. It is very frustrating to get 25 minutes into a game, then crash because you looked at a teammates army, or be unable to play when you get lag spikes sometimes lasting close to a minute in duration.

We are open to ideas to change the buff the ability, but unfortunately we cannot leave it in its current state due to the performance issues.

To be fair there's worse stuff than Satanael or Twilight bug decks when it comes to causing lag spikes... Have you also looked at all the teleport stuff that can get extremely laggy if you ass in a couple support cards? No idea how you would want to balance that stuff other than just removing certain cards...

Anyway, in order to address the peformance issues, are you also planning to do similar changes to cards such as cultist master and/or infect? Even though not permanently, they still can significantly bypass the population cap, which can also be long enough to make the lobby crash because of THAT 60iq guy in the match who nether warps everything into the middle of camps because all he can do is spam Lost Spirit Ships. What about Banzai Lord? have 10 -12 of these with these birds and use a teleport, you don't need hundreds of bugs to mess up the match with a lag spike.

  4. 8 Years ago, some good friends helped me making a huge Christmas giveaway, which kind of marked the end of the good old Battleforge as we knew it. This winter, we are celebrating the release of BF Reborn!  Of course I kind of want to keep this "tradition" going.

So yeah long story short, if there's a card you've always wanted to have in your collection deck (or just cards of a certain color in general), post your wishes here and I will try to make them come true as long as they are realistic.

    See ya ingame!

    Donors of this giveaway:

    - Evil market guy Bozzah

    - Kybaka who was kind enough to send me 15k bfp for giving away cards to newbs.

  5. This never happened before, and it's pretty weird that I was only stuck like 30 seconds in the loading screen. He was way too fast at my base.

I could imagine that somehow, the other player was already in queue, got a matchup and his former opponent got disconnected... unfortunately, I don't have a replay of that match -_-

  6. I started a ranked match some days ago and while I was in the loading screen, the other guy was lucky enough to be able to get a head start.

Cost me the match because by the time I was able to do anything, I was already down 1 well

Same issue here. Think the login server is down. My game was getting really poor frame rate, so I changed resolution/graphics and when I tried logging back it wouldn't let me in. My cousin was having issues logging in while I was doing my last map, figured it might just be something on his end until I couldn't get back in myself. Hopefully an admin can fix it soon :)

it gives me 127.0.0.1 as the server IP .... so I guess you are right

  8. Setting up a non-profit foundation is actually not that hard, keeping the books properly is. In the Netherlands for example you will need to set up statutes (which include the goal of the foundation, how the board is (re)assigned/fired and what happens with the money of the foundation when the foundation stops). You will have to consult a notary to gain a notarial deed (yes, this will cost some money). With these statutes you can register at the Chamber of Commerce and you will have a non-profit foundation.

The next step would be to setup a bank account in the name of the foundation. And here comes the hardest part, as a non-profit foundation you will need to maintain the books and fully open them to the tax authorities when requested. This needs to be done properly (preferable checked by an accountant) as there could be serious penalties when done wrong.

Although a non-profit foundation will have its own capital seperated from the board members capital, there will still be (financial) risks for the board members as they could be held liable in certain cases.

It's pretty much the same here in Switzerland :)

I believe there are people with a degree in economics here but I would gladly offer my help to anyone in terms of accounting or anything small with laws but it's quite hard since I have no idea where the location of the company will be.
