  1. The installer creates a checksum of the archive. If it would be corrupted, the installation wouldn't even start.

    Unfortunately we can't do this. We work the same way like all other games work in these regards. So the principle "First come first serve" will act here. This is somehow bad for you, but it would also be bad for the other user if we would take away his name. We're sorry, but you will for sure find another username to play with which is even better.
  3. No I didn't do anything. You probably only removed the card from your watchlist then. But this doesn't remove your bet on the card. Only way to get the BFP back then is to wait until you get outbid or the auction ends. In case the auction ends and your bid was the highest, you get the card.
  4. In the database I can see, that you have received a mail with 292 BFP for the card Shaman. You received it today at 06:43:06 and collected it at 12:47:43. All mentioned times are in UTC. So you received your BFP and and collected it. Furthermore the card is still in your watchlist. If you can't see it, try to restart BattleForge.
  5. Did you maybe already get outbid? If yes, you will get you points back via mail.
  6. Do you now use version 0.9? Is the Updater instantly crashing or do you get to the point to press "Play" and it crashes afterwards?
  7. Can you disable DropBox synchronization please for your My Documents directory. Or at least for the BattleForge subdirectory. The game often has issues with redirected profile folders.
  8. Please manually download the latest Updater from our Download Topic. You can find a link in the Is this game also supported on Linux and MacOS? paragraph. In version 0.4 there was a breaking change. That's why your old v0.3 doesn't work anymore.
  9. We released Skylords Reborn officially on December 18th. This was the day of the long awaited reset. There won't be any more resets in the future. Feel free to now grind even more than before

  11. The login into the game should actually work instantly since the game server will check the forum accounts. Did you make sure that you didn't accidentally turn on caps lock? To rule out any typing problems you should try to write both, email and password, into a text editor and copy/paste it from there into the game. If this also doesn't work, please let us know again.

  13. You can either remove the file called config.json in your My Documents\BattleForge directory or open it with your preferred editor and manually set fullscreen to false.
  14. You're always able to either use the ingame chat or talk in voice with your friends. Adding a translator into the game isn't possible for us though. Hope that answers your question.
  15. Right now our mail services are offline due to too many registrations. I am currently working on reenabling them again. It would be good to tell me the usernames of the old accounts and if you prefer to use them or the new accounts. So we can delete the old accounts to prevent you from getting cought by multi accounting scans.
  16. Right now there's no way to upscale the UI. The game has been developed in 2009 where such high resolutions weren't a thing. We can't tell, if we ever implement support for higher resolutions since it is alot (and I mean really a lot) of work. One thing you can change though is the chat font size. Hope you have fun in playing the game.
  17. Check if your anti virus isn't blocking the game for any reason. Normally this shouldn't be an issue anymore, but from time to time it still happens. Also send the logs here. You can find them in your MyDocuments\BattleForge\Diag\ directory. The file is called _log_proxy_latest.log
  18. You should maybe check the CRC of the BattleForge.7z archive you downloaded. Maybe the archive has been corrupted. You can find the CRC values in our download topic (at the bottom). If everything is ok, you could try to open and extract the archive manually if you have 7-ZIP installed.
  19. Can you maybe start a ping in command line to the host server.skylords.eu while you play? You should use this command then: ping server.skylords.eu -t > C:\Temp\ping.log Make sure the directory C:\Temp does exist. If it happens again, close that CMD window or hit CTRL + C to cancel the command. Post the file, located at C:\Temp\ping.log, alongside the other logs here. Thank you for your help.

    4k support?

    You can play on 4K, yes. But he user interface will also scale down. No way at the moment, unfortunately, to increase the scale of it. But this is a game from 2009. So not to special that there isn't support for such a big resolution.
  21. Sorry for letting you wait that long. But such issues are hard to track for us. Do you sync your MyDocuments directory with OneDrive? This can cause problems, especially when saving temporary data in there. And you should also append your logfiles of the game. You can find them in My Documents\BattleForge\Diag\ If you get a crash, attach the file called _log_proxy_latest.log before restarting BattleForge.
  22. You don't need to manually extract the files. Now, when you already did that, you can go to the advanced setup mode and only install the Updater into that directory.
  23. When does this message pop up? At the moment you need to select the BattleForge.7z file? Which two other files are you talking about?
