  1. Ok so i only watched the Fire replays.

First replay: 3 Wheels and Inc MO as support which makes Fire much easier and you almost died 2 times. You didnt fight a single boss base alone.

Second replay: You only cleared 2 easy bases alone without help and thats it.

Frost is designed to defend walls better than many other factions.

Yeah but Twilight Slayers were also designed to defend walls so in my opinion they should be at least as good as Defenders+Glaciation which is a T1+T2 combo.

I dont understand why they are a "pure" twilight unit if they would require 1 Fire 1 Nature and 1 neutral orb they would be a much beter defensive unit. I dont even want them to be as powerful as Razorleaf but currently they are just way too weak in my opinion.

They should be buffed like Bandit Artillery which was changed from "pure" Bandits to 1 Shadow 1 Fire and 2 neutral orbs. Artillery was almost useless but now its a good choice, not as good as Worlbreaker but pretty decent.

  3. Interesting replay so i guess Slayers arent completely useless but they are still pretty bad considering they are a T3 unit that was specifically designed to defend walls.

Defenders are T2 cheaper and can be supported with Glaciation and with their abillity activated they dont even need a wall.

Deck is far from ruined, thanks to the compensatory buffs Bata tears chunks out of XL units and bosses. You have near limitless amounts of energy at your disposal, as is normal with single-unit decks. So you can lay down an Armageddon of spells. Unholy Hero + Gates of Hell still deals ungodly damage and Purgatory provides consistent AoE DPS and clear. Enlightened Bata can still solo camps.

Against hard enemies like Lost Souls and sometimes Fire a single Batariel really has no chance anymore when there are Lost Dragons Archfiends Spellbreakers and most importantly Banestones you need to deal damage fast. Sure on easy maps like bandits single Batariel decks can still be used successfully but against harder enemies he has almost no chance anymore.

I havent played single Batariel decks for a while so maybe im a bit rusty but i dont think that is the case.

  5. Ok so i played a few rPvE matches with my Batariel deck vs various enemy factions.

Purple Batariel is weaker but still pretty good and when combined with Fire Dragons he is almost OP but red Batariel has really been nerfed to death and now the classic single Batariel deck is almost unplayable.

I know Batariel(R)+Buff decks were very powerful but nobody was forced to use them and there are other very powerful combos too like Wasteland Terror+Corsair+Unity+Bloodthirst which completely destroy every enemy faction at least in rPvE9 not even Lost Souls are a challenge.

I would really like to know why there was no topic in the Cards section of the forum to discuss Batariel before making any changes. There are topics for cards like Colosus and Necroblaster but not for Batariel who is a much more popular card.

Instead of ruining good and popular cards and in this case even entire decks better focus on making useless cards like Willzapper Waysatation Twilight Hag and many others useful.

  6. I just played rPvE 9 with my old single Bata(R) deck and im really shocked by how weak it has become vs Bandits i havent played vs other factions yet but im pretty sure i wont be able to win against them. Are there any good single Batariel decks left or has Batariel(R) been nerfed to death?

Batariel(P) is still good in my opinion.

I'm no Expert in all things Twilight, and maybe what you are looking is barely possible without really good supporting cards.

I was just arguing that writing they are "completely useless" while comparing two Slayers to a 500 energy "best in slot" powerhouse like a supported Razorleaf isn't really fair.

The problem is that it was absolutely impossible for me to defend the Wagon with Twilight Slayers while i can easily defend with Thornbarks i dont even need Razorleaf.

For Bad Harvest Expert they are definitly useless at least for me and i cant imagine them performing better on other expert maps but like i said im not a very experienced cPvE player.

  8. Could you post a replay of Bad Harvest Expert difficulty where you defend the Wagon with Twilight Slayers? I tried it a couple of days ago and i had absolutely no chance. With my Razorleaf(no T4) deck it worked just fine.

  9. Im not a very experienced cPvE player so i might be wrong but they seem completely useless to me even more than 2 squads cant counter a larger attack wave.

The worst thing is that they either require 2 Nature and 1 Fire orb or 2 Fire and 1 Nature orb so you cant support them with Glaciation.

With Glaciation(R) they would probably be decent in some situations but Razorleaf with 2 Thornbarks as support would still be much better.

There has been a forum section to discuss balancing changes for the last 6 months.

    Sorry i didnt notice that.

buffing cards that aren´t played is fine

Sadly the most useless cards havent been changed yet(Willzapper Waysatation Architect's Call and many others).

Most cards that have been buffed were underplayed before and still are(Northland Drake, Sunken Temple, Lifestream, and others).

Treespirits which i really liked to use in rPvE have been nerfed to death they are only useful for root network support now.

Shrine of Memory is T3 now and much weaker than Shrine of War and Martyrs. Even if you are playing pure nature it would be better to do an orb switch and build 1 Shrine of War which is much better than 2 Shrines of Memory.

Shrine of Martyrs was a nice niche card before, sure it wasnt a very good card and it definitly needed a buff but i really liked to use it.

Dont get me wrong i like the new Shrine of Martyrs but you could have just added a new Shrine instead of changing the old one.

What i really like are the new cards Banzai Lord Wasteland Terror Coat of Protection and so on but i really dont like most changes that were made to already existing cards.

i am not a big fan of the changes for old existing cards. sometimes it feels for me that there is missing something.

for example the shrines and many fire- and shadow-cards... i liked them much more the way they were before.

i would be happy if the time would be spend for new content. the new content is very fun to play. a very good job by the team! 🙂

but this is only my opinion. if there are many players who enjoy the game and play it constantly then i am fine and happy too.

I completely agree instead of changing old cards they should have just added new ones. But what i dislike the most is that they are slowly making all colors the same.

Frost for example: Ironclads HP was decreased and his Attack was increased. Ironclad is a frost card he is not supposed to have high attack. Same thing with Master Archers they are almost identical to Forsaken now.

Every color now has a strong void power return tool at T3(Shrine of War,Shrine of Martyrs,Shrine of Memory,Cultist Masters+Furnace).

Ironclad used to be one of my favourite cards but since the change i dont use him much anymore if i want high attack i just make a Batariel or Fire Dragon deck.

Im afraid that sooner or later the difference between Fire Frost Nature and Shadow will merely be the appearance of the cards.

And why is there no forum section to discuss balancing changes?

  12. That knocking sound when someone invites you to his group is missing. I reinstalled the game but that didnt help.

I know it sounds like a minor bug but for me this is a pretty serious bug because im not always at my PC and now i cant hear it anymore when a friend invites me to his group.

Edit: Apparently this isnt a new bug i just havent played much with my friends in the last months thats why i hadnt noticed it until now.

you must be one of the best rpve players ever around

denial of reality paired with strong egoism to see this as a measure for the general balancing

Seriously what did i do to deserve such an aggressive response? Im not trying to show off and I never said im one of the best players in fact im a pretty average player. Im just sharing my thoughts.

On the other hand you play on the inner position and are slower than new and clueless player that has to fight at least 2 extra units and give him the time to clear T3 alone. Something is wrong with this story.

When im using my Harvester deck i always choose position 2 or 3 because at position 1 or 4 i almost never get the chance to spawn a Harvester either because of a close T3 or because it simply takes too long and my teammate gets impatient.

In that particular game i was waiting for 300 Power while my teammate spawned units at his T1, then he rushed T3 and i helped him with Undead Army because i had no time to spawn Harvester. I think he could even have made it without my help.

If 9s are obviously too easy for you, a player like you who found Fire way too easy should just play more 10s

Like i said im not a pro Player and i usually really struggle with lvl 10 maps especially when i dont have a teammate who can help me. Another problem with lvl 10 is that it is pretty hard to find Players at least when im playing.

Thats why i think it would be a good idea to add a difficulty level between 9 and 10 which is challenging but can be won with random players like hard lvl 9 Lost Souls maps.

  14. Hi,

Im not happy with the changes made to Fire rPvE. It was way too easy before the Patch and now its even easier. The only thing i like is the Abaddon nerf because he was very OP.

The Spawn Waves are weaker many Bosses and Units have been nerfed and Flame Crystal really makes no difference because fire units die way too fast.

Fire Crystal should provide permanent CC immunity until destroyed and even then he wouldnt make much of a difference because players would immediately focus him and then cast CC spells.

The thing that bugs me the most about rPvE lvl 9 Fire are the weak T2 T3 and T4 bases, getting to T4 is no challenge at all its just boring usually its even easier than Bandits.

Last week i played 4 player rPvE 9 vs Fire with a completely new and clueless player on my side, i was on Pos 3 and he was on Pos 4.He almost cleared T3 alone with just Master Archers and Northguards that was ridiculous.

Considering lvl 9 is the second hardest difficulty setting for rPvE every faction, not just Fire should be as hard as Lost Souls, maybe even a bit harder.

The gap between lvl 9 and 10 is just way too big, for lvl 10 you need very good players that work together especially for the harder maps, but most lvl 9 maps can easily be won with any players and any deck.

There should really be a difficulty level between 9 and 10 or maybe a "hard mode" option for lvl 9 that is very hard(like LS with vigils at T3) but can be won with random players.

  16. By the time Brannoc activated his abillity your 2 Batariels and 3 Emberstrikes were at 50% health thats why they instantly died. If you would have walked into one of the harder Lost Souls camps with this army you would have instantly died too.

  17. I have faced the fire faction in 4 player PvE lvl9 many times in the last weeks and i stand behind what i originally wrote. People who struggle vs the fire faction simply dont know how deal with it but once you know how to counter it it becomes very easy. Fire units like Batariel and Fire Dragons are only a problem if you allow them to do damage all you have to do is CC them and kill them before they can do damage.

Getting to T3 is very easy too when im on position 1 or 4 i can easily clear T3 alone i dont even need a teammate. T4 double bases are easy too all you need are some good T3 units like Lost Horror and CC + heal and you will win every time even without a teammate. I usually play nature T1 so i cant tell how hard it is with fire T1.

Abaddon is really the only hard thing on fire maps when i face him i usually retreat and wait for my teammate so we can attack together.

  18. Everything on lvl 9 Lost Souls maps apart from Lost Dancer debuff is fine. Yes some Lost Souls maps can be pretty hard but the way i see it its a good thing. Most lvl 9 maps are so easy that you can beat them while being asleep. I think there should definitly be a difficulty level between 9 and 10.
