  1. nothing weird in those logs, and if your PC shuts down, game can not really cause that directly.

    Indirect causes can be for example: too much load causing too much power draw, causing OCP trigger and cut the power supply.
    I mention this one specifically, because BF have known issue that under unknown circumstances it ignores frames limiter, and causes either GPU, or CPU to run at 100%, and if your PC is not designed for this kind of load it can trigger a protection.

  2. I see this error: "DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED". The game is using "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750" and there is no indication if it is the only GPU in your system.

    This error means that your GPU was disconnected, and there could be few reasons for that:

    • It was physically disconnected, for example because it is incorrectly mounted in the slot and loses contact, or because it is in external box and you disconnected that, ...
    • The driver is bad and have some issue
    • It is multi-GPU system and it decided to use the other GPU (BF does not handle GPU switching at all)
    • Memory corruption issue which can be caused by any bad/misbehaving application, or HW issue with the RAM/CPU/MB
    • The GPU itself is dying

    Few ideas:

    - Maybe another map with same name, but different file name? You can verify that by renaming the map folder and downloading just that one map.

    - Try to share the map file with someone else, maybe some funny AV/Syncing service is replacing it

    - Check logs

  4. We unfortunately do not know how the game works either 😞

    The issue that is causing the lags is that your CPU can not handle the game fast enough, which explains also drop in frame rate, and GPU usage.
    But the issue that is causing the game to do that much work (and allocate that much memory) is unknown 😞 I believe Ult is trying to revert everything related to cosmetic..., because they are the primary suspect, but so far no luck 😞

  5. why that should help? People will still want the reward for the achievement, and if 3 good players can carry one player that have no clue, it is still doable even for most clueless players, while in 1p there is no way someone will carry you so that one would be actually significantly harder from this point of view.

    I mean buffs on you, not buffs on your teammates. So the icons with green border would stay. With reverse engineering you can not say for sure if something will be possible until it is done, but I believe this should be possible.

    🤔interesting. Can after the lags in forge gets too big next time, open task manager, wait a minute, and send 2 things: 1.) Amount of memory used by Battleforge 2.) screenshot of per core CPU usage in performance tab.

    If the i7 6700K is too weak which CPU would you recommend and why wasnt it too weak before the last update?

    Before this patch there was no "cosmetic" banners, and such things, and if I counted right there was already 5 hotfixes for "cosmetic" specifically.
    What you consider "high CPU and RAM usage"? Asking this way specifically because single core is limiting so ~12,5% of total CPU, and at most 3,5 GB RAM, because it is 32 bit process. I would bet the game to crash soon-ish if memory usage goes over 2,1 GB (because it does pointer arithmetic wrong on many places).
    And I want to be clear, that I do not consider 6700k too weak for BF, I just not consider it new.

    I dont want to look like im attacking someone verbally - im pretty sure that problem is something hard to find for resolving or whatever and we should bne patient for sure , but its not cool to sound like "its not from us , cause some people are not having it" , when bigger part of the community have it ! 🙂

    I believe it to be possible, but was refused by designers.

    It directly tells you that buff with same icon (which does not mean it is same buff) affects also other players, and you maybe did not notice the difference between them, because you know all the cards, but they have different border colors depending on if it affects you, or someone else in your team. Maybe you should check dictionary for the word "duplicate", because they have an additional information, and I get it that such information is not useful for you, but it is there.

    And im pretty sure the problem is served sided because on my newer RTX 2080 i7 6700K 16GB Ram PC the lag is just as bad as on my old GTX 480 PC.

    🤔What should I say if you call 8 years old CPU "newer"?

    Why not quote rest of that message? There is no duplicate information. For someone who knows the card by a picture there are redundant information, but someone who does not know it, can see that the effect is affecting all 4 players, instead of just 1 player.

    And to be clear I do not question it would be better, if this state could be shown with less icons (like stacked icons for same effect affecting multiple players, number of affected players shown on the image, or different color of the frame around the image, or ...), but the fact that they are not duplicates.
