  1. NAME: 3 - Harvester/XL Unit Clipping Bug
    LOCATION: Encounters with Twilight
    REPRODUCIBILITY:
Random (Need to test more to confirm reproducibility)

Hey guys, on the stream last night this happened.

Seems to occur when an XL/Harvester is near a placed building/wall and can't path correctly due to an obstruction.

Someone said in stream that they have seen this issue before in the original game, but I am just making sure it's not a new bug :)

"I've been in the shoes of those developers, working so hard to revive our favorite game." - Proof or didn't happen

"I actually don't believe that those devs are able to pull this stuff. So young and lacking experience..." - Young yes, lacking experience? No. I'm 8 years in programming business so argument invalid.

"I predict that nothing will be playable, except the forge in the next 2 years." - How so when there were so much testers playing and streaming stuff from old server?

I'd like to see you reverse engineer a game completely, then code a server counterpart for it, then make an application that can edit game files you didn't have a clue about how they work. Oh, and make it all in timespan of 2.5 years. The amount of work I've put into this is immense, I won't tolerate anyone bashing my 2.5 years work.

As @Ultrakool said and this may sound arrogant, if there wasn't for me you'd still be stuck with dev updates regarding old C# server, let alone have a new version rewrite at the point it is currently. If I snap, quit and don't come back, you won't be able to play this game until 2020 so be grateful. Point me to a project or game studio that has weekly updates as we have and is involved with their community as we are. That's what I thought, you can't, so be sure you collectively don't mess up whole staff<>players relationship.

PogChamp, Fiki coming out with the guns! Pew pew pew :mo:

You're doing an awesome job Fiki, keep it up mate. The majority of this community appreciates your work, especially with all the stress your under with your education also. I hope those exams went well, and if there are more to come I am sure you'll smash em! Good luck!

And for all the other team members out there, your work is invaluable also.  It makes me extremely happy that you guys stuck with this for the longest time as a project. You are making a lot of people happy, and I hope you find happiness in that too.

Man i had 0.325% chances of winning the giveaway and i still dont have it. I think its fine,  although it will be hard since its a promo card!

Oh and there were 30 giveaways till now? Idk but i think this number is fine, and a thing is that you can get rogan kayle promo which is not the best of the promos XD

I just meant .5% might be too high depending on the booster open rate. But I have not been given access so I can't test it out :)

It's called a soft cap. Say, the first half an hour you get 20BFP, the next half hour you get 19BFP, so you'd get 39 in an hour. Then going to 18BFP the next 30m, 17 half an hour after that, so after 2 hours you'll have 74BFP etc. etc.
It means you'll get more BFP the more you play, but the reward per timeslot decreases slowly. This makes sure that infrequent players will not have too much of a drawback from being unable to play a lot, and rewards players for coming back the day after. This way you can play the game the way you want without having to depend on a certain strategy to get enough out of your playtime. This is described in my post.

Pretty sure this was a similar system used in WoW,  with regards to EXP gain. Perhaps one of the vanilla patches? I personally am okay with it, however if I remember correctly this system back fired as the community felt it was being punished for playing the game more. Therefore blizzard flipped it on its head and introduced the rest system which rewarded players to have a break instead of punishing those who grinded and ultimately it worked. You might consider perhaps implementing something like this down the line if you encounter the same issue?

  5. There's just something about the thrill of opening a booster. Kinda a bit like softcore gambling. Gamble your points at a chance for awesome loot. Addicting. URL broken for anyone else?
