Getting input/output error upon game start? Check the file path in the error message if it contains OneDrive. If yes, add an exception to OneDrive to not sync the BattleForge directory.

Open Windows Security -> Allow an app through Controlled folder access -> Add an allowed app. You will see Win 11 automatically blocked BattleForge.exe and SkylordsRebornUpdater.exe
