  1. Spawn buildings which are destroyed in frozen state are able to spawn units up to 20 seconds later. Donaar had already reported this in the Discord. We had played together and there i could see it for the first time. The bug happens with the combination Frost Shard/Shatter Ice or even if the building was frozen with Frost Sharcd and when gets destroyed by a unit.

    Reproducibility? Dont know exactly. In the attached replay it happens in 5 out of 6 cases. Consider the following time markers:

    7:34 min
    9:47 min
    12:10 min
    14:03 min
    15:02 min (the only exception where the bug does not occur)
    15:58 min (the most extreme case -> 20 sec delay)

    Your concerns are valid. In general, these are all reasons that all types of CC should work on Viridya. I have seen so many people try to oink or root Viridya. It is just not intuitive at all what works and what doesn't. In the discord i wrote that taunting should not work on Viridya. But it was meant that after the time runs out Viridya can run again. The fact that Viridya stops forever when casting the ability is simply a bug for me.

    But i think the most important thing is to create clarity about the CC issue in general. I think that would help everyone the most.

  3. From my side, i will be brief and give my opinion only on the maps where I have something to say. In general, i am against making the maps easier. As many have already mentioned, Expert-Mode should be hard! 

    Convoy

    I'm for not being able to block the walkers anymore. I never liked that and always thought it was "wrong". The change that you have 5 walkers for it, on the other hand, i don't think is necessary. It is just the Expert-Mode!

    Crusade

    I think change 1 is good. But it should stay the same as before. If you have cleared both ways, the final wave should come. If you are then unprepared, you just made a mistake and learned from it.

    I like the idea of the secret boss. A XP and/or Gold boost would be great, so that it is worth every time to enter the area.

    Nightmare Shard

    I have always felt that the starter well capacity should be higher. I would therefore welcome this. I don't think further changes for Expert are necessary here. Each faction has good ways to clear the first base. Also, as coco mentioned, there is still the option to go directly to the second base.

    And if a not so experienced player has problems clearing first base alone, you should eventually get the idea to attack first base with your mate together. Such an approach must be expected from the players on expert.


    Nightmare's End

    I personally like the map the way it is. I play it very much, have many decks for it and therefore think there is no need to change it. There are many ways to beat the map the easy way once you understand it. The proposed changes are minor and would be ok from my side.


    Sunbridge

    Absolutely in favor of removing the gate exploit. It's lame and just wrong that the map is easier to play on advanced than expert. And yes, at this point i do think it should be easier in return. The idea of swapping the Twilight Dragon to an Abomination i welcome.

    The Guns of Lyr

    The strategy with the blocking was hardly used, there we have exploits in the game which were clearly more present. So i don't think the change is that important, but i can absolutely understand it. But as wanky already noted, i never saw the tactic in the casual game either. If the change means big problems for some people, you should take a closer look at wanky's idea. I like it.

  4. Glad you want to start a little series here. Pure Bandits is an underrated and underplayed deck in my eyes. The firepower is incredible! You just sometimes have problems keeping your units alive. You show how this can be done to near perfection in the replays. How well Unity (b) and Blood Healing harmonize, i had not thought to this extent. The parts when you have to kill the last base including the Command Walker Boss were impressive to see.

    Well...i actually don't have Maelstrom in my decks either, but Ice Tornado as well. A mistake on my part when I quickly created the deck for the post. Happens when you have no access to your decks because you are not at home 😋

    I've asked a similar question in Discord. Answer from Treim was this:

    "Tasks on Ascension for each map: Map 1 = Keep Jorne alive Map 2 = Kill waves and Avengers so they don't reach Map 1 & 3. After 15 Avengers are killed you get a energy boost (I think 300). After 30 Avengers are killed Viridya starts spawning and you need to stop her from reaching the portals (Easiest way is to use Coldsnap to immobilize her and then use the taunt ability of lightblade (a single application is enough to root her in place permanently)). After map 3 has killed all the portal guardians, map 2 has to stop all 16 avengers of a wave from reaching a portal (if map 2 has stopped all avengers of the wave before map 3 finished the last guardian, the end is also triggered on map2. Last Goal is to kill the 4 Viridyas in the middle of the map. Without melee unit they can have crazy sustain so at least send a lightblade or sth along those lines to attack her. Map 3 = kill portal guardians"
