As a side note, I'd like to participate, but I've already won beta access and as such don't really care about the award. Am I allowed to join the contest? And if so, what happens to the award should a person who already has access wins? (I'm not expecting to win, I'm just wondering what happens in such a case)
I spoke to @MrXLink and he says you can still participate if you wish and if you win, you can pick a friend or another forum member to take the Closed Beta slot.

Hello Skylords and Skyladies!
As many of you have all noticed our BattleForge Reborn logos have been removed from our social media sites and our forums. This is because we have received an email from EA stating that we're using the name "BattleForge" in our name which is actually Copyrighted by them and makes it look like they're helping us along with this project when they're not.
So what does this mean?
This means that we have to make a new name for the project that doesn't contain "BattleForge". So we have come up with the name "Skylords Reborn" so as of now the project will no longer be BFR or BattleForge Reborn it will be Skylords Reborn.
There will be a competition for a new project logo and the winner will be able to enter closed Beta.

Hello fellow Skylords and Skyladies!
My nickname since I was 15 is Kiwi. I played BattleForge for around 3 years and didn't play PvP at all but I am looking forward to playing it this time around! I am an animal lover and also love horror movies. I tend to stream with MrXLink at night if you wish to watch us fail miserably at PvE maps and rPvE be sure to tune in at some point.
Oh and now PvP is working in Closed Beta we may also start steaming some PvP matches. (Please note we're both awful at PvP as well 
)
I am looking forward to helping the community to the best of my abilities and I look forward to seeing you all in the Forge soon!

. Anyhow their cheapest price is like $8.99 a month but it's for an actual computer to run the server on or you can even build up your own computer yourself with whatever ram and storage etc you want. If you want more details let me know and I'll send you a PM.

Well the ones from staff etc only mention brief parts of the game like their name and genre etc nothing more. His are full out like he is trying to sell you the game or is getting paid to try and sell you them, at least this is how it comes across to me. Then again this isn't what he got banned for anyhow so.

He has been vile to many members telling them to kill themselves, keeps full on advertising other games, insulting members as well as staff. I don't see what the issue is here he obviously broke rules and got punished for it, if he want's to not get banned then it's easy just follow the rules, if you don't he will get banned, seems simple enough to me, he has been told many times not to break the rules and he continues to do so, I don't see how any of the staff are abusing their powers they're following the forum rules stated to them, there was no translation stated in the posts (as I take it otherwise they wouldn't have got removed).

The competition has not yet started I believe InsaneHawk will be doing a video about it on our twitch or the youtube channel, when this will be I am not sure right now, sorry.
