Sadly there was a problem with the first launcher that just kept crashing everyone so fiki spent around 8 hours fixing it, he updated the launcher download but I believe Dex is working on servers now while fiki is sleeping.

He didn't state " you will get rewards, but the person streaming did mention there might be rewards or something similiar. Perhaps that's why there might be some confusion around this topic.That was InsaneHawk who said that he is one of the project admins but he said "might be" not "will be".

Even if they did get lucky and got a lot of promo and rare cards, it's Open Beta account resets will happen
Plus we need to get the ratios right, so helping to test this is part of Open Beta.

I do not know who and how many people are working to bring BF back, but I can't hold myself from saying a big thank you to them.
I'll play Battleforge again with pleasure and they will have my donation for sure, as a little sign of respect and gratitude.
There is 3 admins, 3 moderators, 1 2d artist, 1 lead developer and 3 developers. So a total of 11 people.

You can't buy anything in game. All you can do if you wish is join our Patreon to help us with server payments.

We will give out the download to everyone on the 30th January. We will make it free to play by allowing people to gain BFP from quests and other ways as well as this players will be able to buy boosters with BFP that contain all cards including promos (only cards you won't be able to get is Santa and Easter egg as they will be a seasonal thing). We only need money for the upkeep of the server which is what our Patreon is for and people can donate there if they wish to we don't force anyone to do so. Hope this helps.

As far as I am aware all downloads will be available to everyone on the 30th January 2018.

I mean you are only changing the skylords reborn launcher, right? So let's see who is comming up with the upload for the client we won't have to wait till middle or end of january, will we?
The download won't be public until 30th January. People in Closed Beta don't even have access to the new server just yet.

We can make updates to the game and add new cards, we just can't make players pay to get access to them.

@Kiwi Probably been asked a lot already, but coudlnt find the answer: Is there an aproximate size of the download that will be available on january 30th? (i dont need exact numbers... just tell me if its MB's, or multiple GB's or like 100+ GB such as games like ARk survival evolved)
I'm not at my computer with the client on but I think it is only a few GB right now but it isn't the one coded in C++.

We can only go on our forum members and the amount of people on our discord however of course people can have more than one account which effects this.

@DariusSVW Hello, all PvE and rPvE maps will be in Open Beta apart from the 12 player maps as stated at the bottom of the thread by the lead developer Fiki.

We can't make any money from the game as we don't own it. The only way to support us is through our Patreon page which helps us pay towards the server upkeep.
