  1. that sounds weird. To be sure there is no misunderstanding: there was 2 players in group. you did not create that group. you left before the match ended this screen appeared when other player finished the match. so questions: did you join lobby, or was the group created by invite? what did the other player see? what did you do between leaving the match and this screen appearing? can you check if the rewards was for correct map https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1fWWdWIM1B4-ouZUUSqRYbaEuAqqGESL7RrMPD3aR4Sw/edit#gid=0
  2. many players did not found quest window for weeks, so also bad option in my opinion.
  3. If it will be activated by default they will not know they can turn it off, because they will not even know it is there. So they may waste it. If it will be disabled by default they will not know they can turn it on, because they will not even know it is there. So they will not use it at beginning, and maybe keep it for much later when they will know what they want. "There's only 4 elements lol." new players asked about it multiple times already. "Newbies can choose based on their favourite element" how they can know it if they are new in game? "giving newbies a boost early on is nice" from my experience it was always discouraging to continue, because I found out if I start over I can use that bonus much better, so in many games that have some feature like that I end up starting multiple times and never getting to the end game content so I just do not like it.
  4. @MrAmumu imagine a player that create an account play a match, have something else to do and come back two weeks later to found out there was some bonus he/she missed. "first favourite deck early on" how could new player know what will be favorite deck if they may not even know how many colors cards cane have. @Treim Yet this is mostly what is planned, but we have exactly same problem as you (PvP achievements) but Hawk did not want us to focus on quests too much because we still have bugs to fix
  5. Can not imagine players that like the collecting aspect of the game to take less than month to get all cards fully upgraded. And what to do with that oversupply of cards after the first month?
  6. "It is a match between players, and the playing field needs to be fair" that again imply all cards fully upgraded for everyone? Because otherwise I do not see a point in that sentence. I just can not imagine "fair" meaning anything else than both players having exactly same same options, otherwise someone can say one options was better than the other, and it was not fair.
  7. I can only imagine players abusing it to get deck full of promos and other expensive cards as their firs lvl 120 deck. And how would new players know what they want? That would encourage multiacounting once again to figure out what they want. And for you reasoning "at least 1 person will start farming and realize that the higher level your deck, the higher chances you have at winning" that player would gain higher ELO and no longer play with newbies so I do not see a problem with it. I did not know about this project in 2016 so I did not read that topic.
  8. "10-15 boosters" that would be way too much multiaccounters trying, even 2 boosters for free was 100s multiaccounters creating 10000s of accounts to get these boosters. "what u want in my opinion is as much people interested as possible" the current amount of players is enough to trigger the bug that causes the servers to crash why would we want even more people to experience that bad state of the game?

"It would be great when community maps are createable again" you maybe miss it but community maps works PvP rewards do not seem balanced to PvE at all, but on paper they are higher, but I think that should be discussion for another topic. I know many players waiting for release, and I think many of them are PvP first players, that is why I do not worry about the PvP matchmaking just yet, because I expect it to get better after release. There is no point in getting more players right now, because we can not tell them when we will reset.
  10. finally some things we can agree on I speak about the PvP rewards with few players, but no one was able to tell me what exactly is wrong with them, because on paper PvP should give bit more than PvE for the winner which obviously is not the case, even if we ignore the insane waiting times for match. Unfortunately Link did not have much time and on paper it looks better, so we end up with something like "does not mater now it is just test" Hawing quest categories (trees? ) is idea I like and proposed it at start, but Hawk want to "push people to try other game modes". My idea was not that strict I have in mind something like slider so you can be in middle. But with 7 quests and crashing servers this get somehow lost a bit I think. But lets wait what I will be able to do about that as Lead Developer after we solve the server crashes. I still think PvP should be an option to play most of time, even with started decks as long as there will be other players with started decks, and it will be rewarding enough.
  11. that is just one example. You will find at least one other request like that in this thread alone. Many people wants that, so BF can be closer to their favorite Battle royale crap. I do not see how changing the price of booster, or value of the quests would affect if players want to sell boosters or not. Unless the booster content change the relative value will stay the same, only the numbers can change, and because minimum value in BF is 3 BFP (for some reason, and we did not find how to change it yet) lowering the numbers can cause flattering of prices on the low end and affect it, but otherwise I think only the numbers will change. When will be the time to discuss these values in the team I will want to multiply all the prices( and rewards) by 2-5 to make booster price somewhere around 1500 BFP to allow higher variance for cheaper cards, while not pushing expensive ones to too big numbers.
  12. I compare only to games that someone else compare to first, and my point in these comparisons was that these games are different in almost everything. "it's so hard to get into it" I disagree with that you can start playing PvP with any deck, you just should not expect to win against better players. Skill is much more important than deck. You maybe missed the fact that tweaking the values takes few seconds, choosing which values change and how is mostly Links work I think. But if you look at biggest problems based on this thread it would seem that values will not be problem if everyone will start with all cards fully charged. At least that is what I see in these posts, so I can not agree with them. Do you have any specific values in mind that you think would make it better?
  13. lvl120 deck bla bla... why you think it is required for PvP? if 2 new player try PvP with tutorial deck against each other hat is the problem with it? If there would really be players that would want to play PvP they would play it and get ranked against players with similar elo, but there is almost no one trying PvP so matchmaking is about how long you wait, not about your elo.
  14. Why you are so focused on PvP? Almost no one play PvP. PvP matches are less than 1% of all matches.
  15. @WatcherOfSky no I did not play LoL, but I seen player been angry because of that few days ago and he play it almost daily at least last 2 or 3 months. Ability to test all cards in forge was discussed a long time ago, but some members of the team was scared most players will stay in forge and not play the game, because they will have all cards here ( and we have evidence supporting this from closed beta), so it was decided not to investigate that possibility any further. "you play against different people..." unfortunately not some statistic in last 24 hours there was 209 PvP 1v1 ranked matches, 165 of them included top 10 player, that is actually much more matches that few moths ago Many players already left because they like the collecting part of the game, I know many more player that play only PvE. @MrAmumu @ InsaneHawk said that all important players are on discord, even after I show him numbers that on discord we have less than 2 000 people and here we have more than 50 000 accounts, so maybe try it on discord. But if you chose to discuss it with him on forum, it will be probably better to create separate topic for it.

"League of Legends" I seen many players screaming they lose because they did not own some runes, how is that different "Fornite, Apex Legends" I did not actually play any of these two, because they are crappy games that run on phones, so I can not say if there is some system to limit new players or not. But if not it is just another reason to not like these games. When you start game like this what you did yesterday does not mater you start from beginning each match. (Not saying it is bad for competitive games, I just do not like playing like that) If if would be only my decision I would almost not keep PvP in the game "player base right now is very low" I would chose smaller player base than big one that want to play some battle royale crap. I rest of team ever chose to convert game to that I will quit and remember in last year I did about most of the work, and Fiki have now even less time than before. But I am not against "Why not try out the idea I've suggested for like 1 month, get some statistics, and then see which system (yours vs the one I'm suggesting now) is better." so you can try to ask Hawk if he will agree to that.
  18. "metaphorically spoken" unfortunately the list of players is bit longer, but not much. There is not much newbies in PvP. I know for sure that upgrades would not help here. Radical can win against any newbie even if Radical will have tutorial deck and newbie fully upgraded one. Be sure of that. And because only few high ranked players waiting in ranked lobby they get paired with the first one who join because the is just no one else... I did not spend too much time on it, because crashes are more important, but I do not see any option to solve this problem
  19. I played PvP without having fully upgraded deck, without a problem and did not feel discouraged at all. And I am sure that if you give fully upgraded deck to newbies and not upgraded to pro player, the pro players wins most of time.

  22. and what you want us to do? remove all progression from the game? Give everyone everything? Who will play the game then? I would not be interested in game like that. @Navarr you mean the list of card or the link to discord where someone just said progression is fast? For the list of cards I can say whatever you "known" price would be then auction history have weeks when price was at least double, but for these more likely 5 or more times higher than other weeks, and I do not speak about single card sold for 100 times over average, I mean really 20 or 50+ cards sold for multiple of "average price of other weeks.

  24. you know "the prices" you mean the average prices that was when it was on EA's servers? or the median prices that was when it was on EA's servers? or the average prices that was this week? or the median prices that was this week? or the average prices that was last month? or the median prices that was last month? or ... these differ by more than 100%
  25. "beginners" to BF? or "beginners" to any game with market? this works in every game that have market. And prices differ from day to day.
