Kaliber84 Posted September 12, 2016 Share Posted September 12, 2016 Just before the stream I installed the alpha client again which worked just fine. Now I deleted it and installed the beta client. The problem is that executing the exe doesn't do anything. I don't get an assertion failed error and it does not create the folder containing the config file in >documents. Because of that I can't start the launcher successfully. I added a picture. When I opened the exe for the first time both avast and Windows Defender tried to block it. This resulted in Windows Defender shutting down (for some unknown reason) and avast successfully blocking it. I added the whole BFR path to exceptions in avast and tried again without success. Only improvement was that avast didn't block anything anymore. Probably I can get a workaround by manually inserting a folder with a working config file from someone else.
