  1. Mails are limited and cumbersome, it would be nice to be able to browse your trading history and general stats and things here on the web. (i.e. game time, online time, peak ranks...., I guess being able  to share decks here would also be neat.)

  2. Game froze when I tried to open AH, which I had to do, because I do no have the RNG god's blessings and keep getting duplicate cards, so in hopes of being able to sell them sometime in next 30 years...

    p.s. the log is larger than maximum allowed file size :ddddd, I will back it up in a folder and contact me with an alternative.

I rather agree with op here, this change is quite dumb, if you try to think about it, it doesn't make sense, if you are encased in ice & icicles, it would only make sense that something running in to you, it's gonna take damage, with smaller swift units actually taking more damage from trampling than larger ones (think skin thickness(stonkin should receive relatively little)), movement through frozen units should also be really really slow, ranged attacks should be almost completely negated with fire attacks shortening the duration of the spell/it's effectiveness, affected units melee output would drop to almost nothing, ranged units, should still be able to shoot, but only in the same direction as they were when the spell was cast, or be really slow at changing it. whole spell starting out really strong, but it's effects fading as the ice melts. With that said, that is probably too much to ask for, since FWIH, we're rather limited in what can be done. If anything affinities should be merged, leaving the great stats of both previous versions(40% reduction and trample), but requiring a building to be nearby, just like homesoil, the current increased melee DMG is complete garbage in almost any aspect you look at it.

    Maybe the system in game should have an hourly reminder for using the forums, currently it seems pretty desolate here.

    Was gonna say, maybe the home page should be improved and link directly to popular forums with big buttons, but apparently I can't even reach it currently, IDK.

Ah yes, the issues we have, the development time that doesn't exist ^_^ You see, we have inflation, so instead of doing anything about that, we're gonna introduce another currency, just like in communism/failing states :O (le funny, when I was defending non free market lol)  (do we really have inflation?)

    The least we need is a simple trade bot account who you send cards to, and he sends you BFP back, so you can open another booster and pray to gods... (RNG gods) It's a community project, not everything has to look like it has big budget behind it, it just has to function. (heck even gold would be nice, but currently only for the new players...)


    I do like the idea of colours, like the GM's have and while XP boost is really useless, you should just be able to buy a custom title for like 1m gold, or something, these cosmetic things could also be temporary, shades similar to ones used by staff could be made unavailable. Also, a bit off topic, but IDK who thought that making gold account bound was a good idea, TBH,  quite a commie concept.

    But but, what about flat-earthers, I'm sure they would refuse to chat in global, and somehow game engines in general, go very well with their beliefs. (most of them are actually flat worlds xd)

    yeah, exactly, I think just "in/nothing" and the whole channel "word" would be nicer, but with colour codes, we could have that gone completely. Having more tabs for multiple channels would be nicer tho.

  9. Nice idea, although, I think it's rather unlikely, I think doing it from server side should be possible, but that would be somewhat messy, or more like, really messy. (also, that is only for changing the name, like adding a note in brackets after their name)

  10. Yeah, this game is broken in this aspect, I've been telling folk since forever to do something about it, and here it is, one game reset and years later, and basically nothing has been done. I guess you're coming from Hearthstone, IIRC I saw "Disenchant" in that game.

Another alternative would be, to fix the card supply to the number of players, that way nobody will have excess cards, and people will have to actively trade, to change up their decks, because if rarity actually had any meaning, not everyone could have everything, as it will eventually happen with current system. This would be cleaner, it would be interesting to see what would happen to AH in such case, at first it would probably be silent and empty, eventually people would get bored of current deck and start trading. Although, I still prefer the RTS over the eBay aspect of this game, also with this neither the gacha addicts or the completionists wouldn't be happy.

Hm, guess that's how it is ha, different experiences would still apply, not everyone understands things the same way, and neither does everyone want the easiest way, I often pick fun decks over what's the best/fastest, other times giving leaderboards a shot is fun too, as I mentioned in another post, we could have a difficulty system or better, simply an option when creating an account, if you're here to play the game, or to collect the cards. It sure is more rigid than rainbow boosters are, although, the card selection in your deck would be much less rigid. Thing is, in that sense, Battleforge is an apple and an orange at the same time, I guess.

    With your method of unlocking cards is kind of contradictory to what you see this game to be, (more strategy?) Following your ideology means that only by unlocking more story modes you will have more access to cards. This would mean that you take away a portion of this strategy as you have limited the option to access cards to common/uncommon cards. Thus, i don't believe that we should put a restriction to the card base depending on your story mode.

    Forgetting to mention that there are pvp players. So what happens to them?

    I know of all these things, and they are not the solution by a mile.

    Well, not quite sure, but find me an RTS game with cards? Where you have to open boxes and be lucky to get the whatever to . I guess the majority here is a card games fan and not an RTS fan.

    Well, in easier maps(the way it used to be, that you'd have to player easier ones first), you can do with lesser cards, with careful playing you can do suprising things with damn few non prominent cards, but you probably won't be beating any leaderboards with that, also, by doing it that way, a new player would have a pretty good time to learn how each card works and all the jazz, if it were this way, the whole story mode would essentially be extended tutorial. Also the whole story is so short, that it might go a bit quick, so to that I've already answered before, you could make just the common/uncommon cards be unlocked with story, although that would still be less than ideal. As for PVPers, again, game is so short, they will live, also they already have the premade PVP decks that are such a brilliant solution in a strategy game.

    There cleaned it up a bit, and yes, I'm very well aware, though, that ain't enough of a reason to just avert your eyes and claim all is fine.
