  1. Hi all! Just wanted to generate some discussion and see if there was any interest - This is of course all purely hypothetical. If you could see any card have a promo variation of it added to the game, which card would it be? why? and what would you like to see on the promo that the standard card doesn't have? Here are the top 5 of my ideas I want to share. Feel free to follow the same template of formatting for the sake of consistency. #1 - Shaman Replace the skull on his back with a leaf. Add a kilt to hide those buttcheeks. Recolour his horn helmet and the skull on his staff to green. #2 - Frost mage Retexture the ice, make the outlines more detailed and darker Retexture the particle of her attack animation so there are long shards of ice sputtering out of her ice lance and generally make it a deeper blue. Change her hair from brown to silver. maybe also change hairstyle the 2 above suggestions are both very highly sought after "staples". I think having promo variations of each would be nice because it might do something to reduce the price of the regular versions. and would make these already rare promos HIGHLY desirable. #3 - Magma Hurler Retexture the "stone" (arms, legs ect) to more closely look like obsidian by making it darker. Change Hands and feet (make them bigger) Retexture particles, make The inner part of the fire a darker red and the outside brighter. #4 - Ashbone Pyro Replace grey bandages on right arm with purple metal gauntlet. (Matching shin guards and pauldrons) Remove "transparent flame" effect (to better show off the existing detail on top of the skull) Add purple fire geyser to top of skull (like it is pouring from the cracks) Replace cloth kit with metal kilt (to match shoulders and shins) Add a flaming purple cape. #5 - Soulhunter (unsure which affinity) Replace "knee pads" fixed to shoulders with skull pauldrons Add bronze/ dark grey metal chest plate that represents the exterior of an iron maiden / sarcophagus Remove metal tubes and handwrap and replace with metal fingerless gauntlet / wristguard (so it doesn't interfere with his claws which IMO are cool and don't need change. Unless colour to match chest plate) EDIT: Add some spines down his back and onto his tail. Nothing over the top. Maybe spines that look like his teeth What do you think of my suggestions? Have any of your own? I'd like to hear them. Try and keep it almost dotopoint form. Use keywords like "add", "remove", "replace", "retexture", Modify ect

Hello there dear battleforge player and dev's , I think you should create a seconde server where we can connecte when the first server is full , i've read some where in the forum that the limite of slot was 200 ~ player on the server right now(don't remember exactly) , and i think a second server would be good if can't up the number of player on the first server , and with that you will allow more player to play the game and having more report a bout bug and other thing in the game by the player ! By the way i love the fact that you guys try to bring back this games to life , this games was awesome in my chilldhood! ,now i'am about this and i can't wait to play this game again ! i'am sorry if my english is bad ,i'm from france so you know

    Orb Ownership

    I want to propose the idea of Orb Ownership. Orbs are one of the main mechanics of the game and are extremely important in every game mode, whether it be PVE or PVP. Saying this, this post is only going to be about Orbs in PVE. So... Orb Ownership? Basically, Orb Ownership is the idea that you can only claim certain orbs, instead of being able to claim them all. For example, Bad Harvest. I remember when I was playing some other player took my fourth orb for his fifth and I was super pissed. So I built towers preventing the ground units from moving past. I also remember the first player, dark green on the map, destroying the first base, taking both orbs, getting tier four and single handedly winning the game. Great if you were playing to win, bad if you were playing for fun, which is what games or for. Orb Ownership removes those scenarios from the game. As I said before, you can only claim specific orbs based on your position on the map. Another example in bad harvest. If you're the first player, the dark green, you can only claim the orb beside your starting orb, one of the orbs in the base and the final orb near the end of the map. This also applies if your orb is destroyed. This means if your teammates decide to not help/troll you and let enemies destroy any of your orbs, they won't be able to claim it. I feel Orb Ownership will force players to improve their teamwork and help their allies. It will also remove any "I can win the game by myself" players. What do you think about Orb Ownership. (If someone already came up with idea or something similar, sorry, didn't mean to steal it.)

    Quest suggestions

    Hello Skylords and Skyladies, I have been talking to @MrXLink lately about ways to get the community more involved with the project and I came up with this. My idea is to get you guys and girls to share your ideas on quests which players will be able to complete in order to gain BattleForge Points. Our current ideas are as follows (not official quests as of yet); Player has to play 6 PvE or PvP matches. (winning or losing doesn't matter) Player has to play for a certain period of time. (time is currently not known) Player has to play with a certain deck element. (for example frost) Player has to play with a certain card in their deck. Player has to play 4 games in a party with friends. (winning or losing doesn't matter) Player has to win 2 PvE or PvP matches. Player has to kill 50 units in a single PvP match (not currently known if this can be implemented) Player has to play a 1 player PvE map. (rPvE or campaigns and winning or losing doesn't matter) Player has to play a 2 player PvE map. (rPvE or campaigns winning or losing doesn't matter) Player has to play a 4 player PvE map. (rPvE or campaigns winning or losing doesn't matter) Player has to play a 12 player PvE map. (winning or losing doesn't matter) Player has to play a 1v1 PvP map. (winning or losing doesn't matter) Player has to play a 2v2 PvP map. (winning or losing doesn't matter) NOTES: Leaving a game will not allow a quest to be completed. The amount of BattleForge Points awarded for completing quests is currently not known. If you have anymore ideas please post them below and if they're good enough we may implement them into the game!   6. I was thinking long and hard about the reward system and came to a conlcusion. "Please note that this is MY opinion and doesnt have to match yours". With that being said lets start: -The daily quests are a realy good idea, i dont have anything against it -The playtime reward is my biggest concern, since its the only thing that can prevent multi accounting, also the decrease in bf points per time played is something i absoloutly dislike. There will always be hardcore players and multi accounting people, you cant prevent such things, but i was thinking if the bf points per time earned are always the same wouldnt be that bad either. There are many people out there who can just play on their weekends but then play the whole weekend nothing but the same game. If you cant complete the daily quests every time or nearly never on a daily basis, the playtime is all you have to catch up if you only can play on weekends or cant play every day. Just my thougt about this. -I got the idea for a "weekly reward" for people who played at least 4-6 hours a week. If you would set the reward to 250bfp so even the casual players or busy people would be able to steadly progress with the game in terms of card collecting sorry for so much text, i wann hear youre opinion about this, or even own suggestions for the reward system and ill add them to the post (i wont promise it, ill try it)

    General Suggestions IMO

    I made this assuming there wasn't one like this already though I'm sure there is but I bet it's been buried under other posts! Regardless I do have a few ideas and maybe questions: How much in terms of design in the cards/monsters is going to change? I understand you don't know much about the Copy rights in particular but I personally enjoyed the look of the monsters. Would be a shame for change. One main suggestion is to see about expanding the game, I know your a small team but it would be cool to have maybe 24 player maps. A lot more chaotic, don't even need to make a new map could just combine them. I would love to see a system that can support basic offline play. Especially now being my internets been acting up! XD And of course be welcome to post your own opinions as well! If this is to redudent I'm fine with deleting it. - The Guardian, looking forward to the Beta.
