  1. Guns of Lyr (Codebreaker).pmv Hi, i have recently done the Codebreaker achievement, so i wanted to share my own strats for those who are struggling with the two maps. MZF-KIPgSQLlGuLsPoRmacXpXyFqOuEGQiIvT7TzM (Guns of Lyr deck) MEUqVCNiF-MaFiLKU9P5F0M7FKMMUcTEGlKxXAaGN (Dwarven Riddle pure fire deck) For Guns of Lyr, i mostly went with Markus34222 deck, just switched some cards to make the run easier, at least for me. The trick to this map is to not waste a second and rush to frost orb shown in replay. Then you refresh on repeat glaciation just as it is about to run out, until you use Enlightenment and bring out first Shadow Worm. One at bottom, second at fortress, with kobold fixing it, third at bottom, and fourth at fortress again. Once you have the defence of two shadow worms on disintegrate mode, razorleaf with 2 thornbarks to boost it, viridya and skydancer on healing mode, your defence is set on both sides. The rest you can see on replay is pretty much taking your time until you are ready to kill final waves. For Dwarven Riddle, sadly i forgot to save the replay, but it's pretty easy. The trick is to start from pos 4 and rush to the top orb with 3 nomads, eruption the crystals, peck away 2 top towers with sunstriders, and then use fire altar to clear out the Bandit Lord unit. Then you sit and wait until you farmed about 3k power, the shadow unit patrols will completely ignore the top orb, so consider it a safe zone. Then you use the fire altar again, quickly rush down and get 3 orbs fast. Once that is done, get at starting position 4 dragons and about 3 molochs, supported by unity, cluster explosion, bloodthirst and Fire Sphere. From there it's a race to the crystals. Make sure your fire dragons are always buffed with unity and bloodthirst, so they don't die, and pay attention to the timer, so you can get your dragons back to support molochs with fire waves until the final push. Once the guardians are dead on your side, it's pretty much taking your time until you clear out all the guardians on other side. Hope this helps 🙂
  2. I found a weird frame bug with Lost Warlord unit. Everytime i summon a Lost Warlord, be it red or blue, and i click a single unit, there's not much to notice, but when i click multiple warlords, like 4 or 5, the game lags a bit for some reason. The more you select, the more the frames tank, and when you select all 12 Lost Warlords, be it blue or red, the frames drop so much it's basically unplayable. Btw, i tried to upload the video to show the bug, but due to it's 4 mb size it's impossible even when heavily compressed, so it's for the best if you see this bug for yourselves in the Forge, cause that's where i found the bug.
  3. What purpose do they serve you ask? None in a long run, since they are literally reskins, but they are still there ingame, waiting to be put in someone's collection, and for collectors that's reason enough for them to gun for every single promo in the game, even the ones with overly bloated prices. But you make a good point, by opening boosters you can easily sustain the market by people selling extra cards they don't need. If anything, it would be great to at least up the drop chance of promos by a smidge or two, so it would be a total casino dice roll. Glad that we at least both agree on the lack of long-term goals for the game, but i think those are well covered with plethora of ideas suggested in Quest & Achievement suggestions megathread, in addition to my suggestion in this thread.
  4. No shit lol. My point of this entire topic is to implement a more fun way to get promos, rather than grind your soul out until you finally get that one promo, let alone ten other promos you need to grind out and get. I understand and respect your point, but the reason why the survey showed such results (in my opinion and from personal experience ingame anyway) is that they are waaay too hard to come by. As i've pointed out, you need to either have a Gladstone Gander level of luck to get them from opening boosters, or you need to grind an gratuitous amount of BFP to get that one expensive promo you wanted, let alone several of them, both methods which are not fun at all, especially the grind part. That is why i suggested to implement a more accessible, yet fun way to work hard for them, like the meta, aka end game achievements that i pointed out for example, where you have to play with specific element decks etc. Yeah exactly. One disagreement though is the promo part. I respect your idea for new promos and preserving economy balance for them, but personally i'd put promos like Razorleaf, Construct, Juggernaut etc., because they are the type of cards that really fills you with that catharsis and sense of accomplishment after you've worked your butt off to complete the achievements for them. I mean, they are essentially a reskins of original cards, so it wouldn't be a total loss if you ask me 😄
  5. Since promos are almost impossible to get without feeling extremely lucky with opening boosters or grinding BFP until your eyes pop out, i was thinking if it would be possible to add meta achievements for getting promos as a reward. Those achievements would be basically like Among the Old Gods achievement, where you do the full campaign on expert difficulty, but this time it would be with one specification or more. Like for example if you and other players were to do a full campaign on Expert difficulty maps with nothing but Pure Shadow deck (that means no legendary cards either), then you'd get Harvester and Fallen Skyelf promos as a reward. Or if you and others in the team were to do a full campaign with only Pure Nature deck, you'd get Razorleaf and Swamp Drake promos as a reward. Legendary promos would have extra specification i think, but currently i can't think of which would make getting those promos all the more rewarding to get. This would not only invite replayability, but would also force players from sticking to cheesy, hybrid decks that makes playing even Expert maps less interesting, if not dare say boring, and would provide challenge by playing with a single element deck which is a rarity to see ingame. Hope you at least consider this suggestion and implement it in a way to see fit :)
