  1. Sorry that my answer took a bit longer. I checked the account arcticfox with mail address este*********@***il.com which has already been registered on the 27th of May 2018. I can't find any information, that the account should be banned.

    Is that really the account you're referring to. Moreover is this the account he's trying to login with?

  2. It shouldn't be a problem on your side. It is perfectly fine to create a single account for each person.

    For further investigation by the mod team it would be good to have the username of his account. Please don't post any private information here e.g. the e-mail or password.

    On the 18th of December we launched the game officially. So our actual release date which also means, that there won't be any other reset anymore. This was the long awaited reset why a lot of players also didn't play the game.

  5. We often had such problems in the past, yeah. But most of the times >90% it turned out, that it was a problem on the user's PC. So there's no general fix for this problem from our side at least.

    I hope you checked out our troubleshooting page and went through all steps there.

    Unfortunately we can't do this. But to be fair ... we always told you guys, that there will be a reset on release. Reason behind this is, that during the Stress Test there were some unexpected behaviors of the server, unfair distribution of BFP and Gold compared to new players and so on. Because this was also a testing phase on how to implement new things.

    I suggest you start a last time. There will be no more reset in the future. Also the player base is quite big compared to the previous phase. We do have 1500 concurrent players online each day now. So I think it will make even more fun for you.

    And be sure: You will get your promos at some time. Only play enough and get BFP and boosters.

    I can only support all the other statements. We don't and we won't ever steal or sell your data. We don't have any use in that. That our applications are sometimes flagged as virus is pretty unfortunate and we really hate that this happens.

    But having a certified executable, so to speak signed with a code-signing certificate, also doesn't add more trust into the application. Because every developer can sign his executables by himself. He only needs to buy such a certificate. Besides that it costs a lot of money we don't have right now.

    Smartscreen is a totally different system. It mostly rates applications depending on download counts and reports by users/anti virus software. However I don't have too much insight there. If you want to know more, you might check out the Microsoft documentation which is one of the best documentations I've seen.

    If you want to know where our applications do have access to, I suggest using Sysinternals Process Monitor to monitor our applications. Which is actually only the Updater and a proxy which is getting loaded with BattleForge. But monitoring BattleForge means, you're also monitoring EA's code.

    For the future we at least try to remove the need of administrative permissions for our Updater and therefore also for the game itself. So this will also add some trust to our software in my opinion.

    Too conclude this I can unfortunately only tell you, that if you don't want or can trust us, the only thing you can do, is to not use our software and therefore not play Skylords Reborn. Pretty sad, but that's the only way.

    Thank you for sharing your solution on this. I am glad you fixed and and didn't give up on that. We will mostly likely add it to our troubleshooting page as soon as possible. Of course these are issues we can't solve when installing our game. But at least other players will have another option to take a look at.

    I set it to its default local path instead and now the game works. 

    Also thank you for sharing your solution. It has been mentioned a lot, that your My Documents directory needs to be accessible for the game to work properly. But it has not been added to our troubleshooting page. We will definitely add this to our list. In the past those issues were mostly due to enabled OneDrive syncing which forces the My Documents directory being linked to another location which the game couldn't handle.

    Glad that you finally fixed it. But this unfortunately is such a case again where reading the message would've saved you and also us a lot of time. And furthermore doing what I suggested in my previous posts. Otherwise asking for help doesn't make that much sense, right?

    There's nothing to repair. You only have to confirm the multiaccount warning. That's it. So reading the message is the key. If you do have another problem than the mentioned one, please open another thread. So we can actually separate them and other users might also find a solution for their problem.

  12. 4K screens weren't directly supported back in the day. Actually they weren't even available for normal users in 2009 when the game has been created. We couldn't invest time to actually fix the game UIs in size to look good on 4K resolution. The only setting you can change is the chat font size.

    If that's not sufficient for you, the only way is to use another resolution in fullscreen or play the game on another screen.

  13. Did you try another browser or restarting your PC before redownloading the archive. Because often those falsy files are getting cached and you will always receive the same corrupted file.

    What happens if you open the archive manually? Can you extract all files without any problem?

    I quickly made some file hashes you can check against. To create a file hash you could use 7-Zip (if installed) or execute a PowerShell command:

  14. On release we made a reset of all accounts like you already recognized. This forces you to create your character again. In case someone wants to rename himself or made a spelling mistake this is your chance to correct that. The "Multiaccount warning" is new to make sure you understand that it is forbidden to make multiple accounts and the risk if you do so anyways.

    If you log in again you don't need to fill in this data. Your character will be saved in our database. If you still have an issue like that, please give us more details here.
