Wow, there are many BF games lastly
And well deservedly so. This game was awesome! Too bad the lack of long-term content caused the player base to die off over time.

Hi All! My IGN is Ferevus and i'm 22 years old.
Currently a PhD student in Biology.
I've been a dweller on this forum for roughly a year now although i'm perhaps one of the individuals that posts the least?
I've played BF since May of the year it launched (whenever that was)... loved playing PvP with some of the "cheaper cards" to show new players what could be done without the really expensive mid/late game.. you'd be surprised how well they fared.

Super late reply! Thanks for the stream! It was awesome!

I really like options 3 and 4. Gives some motivation for players to explore some of the PvE maps once again.

Promo Lyrish Knight. O wait. it exist.

Mine is definitely one of the best T1 cards that fire has access to. It's cheap, does nice damage, and knocks back small units.

I'd like to sign up for everything :).
Cheers!

Dragon restrictions? Do not approve. Gotta note the Nightwish reference though.
I'm joking. With regards to the community challenges... yes, I truly support their return. However, I have to agree with the point made that it is too early, especially considering the tournament that is already being set up (albeit supported by us or not). In order to make more variable and interesting challenges, I think it's better to wait until everyone has acquired some cards and decks, and they have the hang of the game again. I do approve of the concept as I have stated many times already (in chatbox and in a thread too as far as I can remember), as far as I'm concerned, I/we will be setting up a community challenge at some point early in the game's new lifetime. So look forward to that!
Although i agree that the "best" challenges will come once people have set up accounts and began obtaining cards, i do think that there is quite the value in pointing out possible challenges pre-alpha as It allows interested users to voice their opinion on what could be fun/challenging and whatnot!
For example: I'd be interested in seeing group challenges (with the reward being split among members) to cover maps such as Ascension. The challenge could be that for each map the players have to use only 1 element or creature "type" (example: insect like cards)... or within each map each player has to use a unique color and no cards may overlap..... This type of mechanics should force teamwork and innovative play style. This is obviously a rough idea, but putting out the concept is what matters.. if no one voices their interest/opinions how will our fabulous devs going to know what will pique out interest?

It is being developed for windows, although Blank(One of our main developers and admin) said he will look into making it "wine" compatible. He himself has a linus system. Of the two, it will run more smoothly on linux, while mac might have some problems. I hope that answers your question ^^
Cool! Thanks for helping out! Looked through quite a few post in search for this type of info! Hope Blank has some success!

Is there an idea about the operating system on which BFR will work on? Will it be exclusive for windows or is it being done using a unix system (for mac/linux and other operating system as well)?
